We took excursions from Pegasus. Prices are the most expensive of all possible excursions. bureaus, which are full at every turn. Be sure to visit the River Kwai - the most unforgettable experience. Prices from 5400 and below. The tour can be taken everywhere, the prices are different, the program too. We took the most expensive full program from Pegasus and were very pleased, because we got a chic know-it-all guide who created the most cheerful and kind mood for 2 days.
It is better to go to the Nong Nooch tropical garden by yourself (it will be 2-2.5 times cheaper). A beautiful tropical park, where landscape designers have done a great job. The kids will love it there too. Gather 5-8 people who wish, catch a tuk-tuk and go. For all in one direction, we got 200 baht, back 300 baht for the road. Entrance to the park 400 baht.
We also took a "monkey island" from Pegasus, it cost 1500. They were also very satisfied! There was fishing, a buffet (freshly caught fish was prepared), then feeding the monkeys on a wild island, swimming on a relatively wild and very beautiful island. Those who had seasickness (swim for 2 hours) were given pills for motion sickness.
We went to the Pattaya Dolphinarium as savages on a tuk-tuk, the entrance costs 450 baht, but they let us in for 400 :)

Yes, I would also like to add information, maybe it will be useful for someone. If you are a lover of tea and sweets, then it is better to bring them from Russia (there is a kettle in the hotel!!!). As we did not look for normal tea in the nearest stores, we did not find it. We bought Thai - it tastes like you are drinking a brewed broom - a rare muck, but it costs 60 rubles. Sweets are much more expensive than ours. A bar of chocolate is about 80-90 baht. And everything is not tasty. I also want to say about fruits: the market asks for about 100 baht per kg, and in Tesco-Lotus, fruits cost a little more than 30 baht per kg, pineapple 1 pc. 25 baht only! Take any pineapples: they are all 100% sweet! Tesco Lotus is located near the aquarium on the street. Sukhumvit (sorry if I wrote the name of the street incorrectly)

the program of excursions is the same everywhere, especially on Kwai, because. all agencies, incl. and Pegasus, buy it from the same Thai who owns these hotels in Kaanchanaburi. The rest is a ride on the ears of a tourist. I have been working here for a long time, I sell tours and I see how tourists are completely bred, frightening with various fables. The red price for Kwai is 3000 baht, although mostly 2800. See the rest of the excursions and prices for them with descriptions and photos on my website, the address of which is in my profile. If you have any questions, please contact me by email (also there), I'm always happy to help.
