The hotel was chosen on the basis of price-quality. It was one of the cheap hotel options, we chose because we read a lot of good reviews and liked the rooms in the pictures. We knew about the fact that the hotel is located far from the sea, but this did not bother us, since we didn’t want to swim in Pattaya - we go to the islands for this.
Settled in quickly. The room is good, bright, spacious, as in the photo. Everything is cleaned every day. On the 1st day, our air conditioner leaked - they told the reception and the fitter immediately came and fixed everything. Breakfast is so-so - there is nothing for tea, neither buns nor cakes. Well, it's 3 stars, it's like that everywhere in such hotels. But there are many hot dishes and a choice of meat and vegetables and eggs. You can eat normally.
I was very pleased with the free Wi-Fi, since we had to take work with us (we didn’t have time to hand it in before departure, but there was an urgent order) and we had to sit in the room and work for 1 half of the day. The internet worked great and it helped a lot.
In general, we have no complaints about the hotel - the pool is good, quite large. There are almost no people in it, you can swim freely as much as you want.
Location: The hotel is located not in the tourist zone, but in the Thai quarter. This is both good and bad. Good for those who need an economical vacation option (like us). There are a lot of cheap eateries around, where you can eat for 250 baht for two with beer (one hot dish from 70-80 baht). But we also found a more economical option - right next to the hotel, opposite the market, which stands close to the hotel at the 7-11 shop, there is a Thai man who cooks soups to take away with him (or you can eat there - there are tables). The soup consists of 2 parts - the broth and the contents of the broth. Everything is prepared separately. There is only one broth, and you can choose the contents - noodles or rice with meat or dumplings. You can also eat it separately - like a broth and a second one (it packs in 2 different packages) We brought it to the room and mixed it. Disposable tableware was bought right there in the store "7-11".
One serving 30 baht. That is, they had dinner for two for 60 baht plus a bottle of Chang beer for 50 baht. Very economical, tasty and satisfying.
Distance to the sea is 40 minutes away. We didn’t use any transport, we moved everywhere on foot. Before any quarters where massage parlors, etc. minutes 15-20. If you leave the hotel and turn left past the market along a small street where there are a lot of cafes and shops, you can go to the street. Northern. There is a large Lotus supermarket and a lot of things - exchangers, banks, massage parlors and everything else. Well, further along it you can walk to all the tourist attractions.
In general, a hotel for travelers with a small budget, but who want to live in a good room or those who are going to spend more time on excursions. If the location does not bother you, then I recommend this hotel.
Well, we have already bought a 4-day tour to the island of Koh Kood (price 6.800 per person) and are waiting for Monday when we go there.

Good hotel, small, quiet, cozy, clean. In the restaurant on the ground floor you can always eat tasty and not expensive. One thing, but one of the maid apparently liked the perfume left near the mirror, realized late, but this can be prevented, put everything in the safe.

If you don’t rams and don’t bullshit in response, there will only be positive. I only needed the room to sleep. Everything is clean and comfortable. The administrator brought me pina colada to the pool after 22.00. Although the pool is until 20.00 As you are with people, so are they with you ; -). It’s really far from the sea, I don’t advise with small children, they will get tired in the heat. When I was in Tae it was +32, the water was +28 full and hypertensive patients are unlikely to like it. I drove to the islands and on excursions at the hotel appeared only for the night and then not always))).
One more moment. On weekends, the Chinese come for 1-2 days. Not only do they behave cheekily, yelling and making noise at any time - And it doesn’t matter if young 18-year-olds are old. These noisy and shameless breakfast locusts sweep away everything in the dining room. Before the trip to the islands, I had breakfast at 7.40-8.00, otherwise after the narrow-eyed brothers in the socialist camp, trouble.
And lonely ladies don’t care to shy away in dark, cereal areas. For some reason, at night in your city you don’t spare 200-300 rubles for a taxi, and in a foreign, unfamiliar country, a toad strangles 100-200 baht (100-200 wooden) for your safety, so that they bring it directly to the hotel . . Just in case, they have 10 years ago, the crime rate was worse than ours in the 90s.
I watched one such chicken - I spent all two weeks by the pool with an iPad - but without incident))))).
Take a business card of the hotel with you, if necessary, show the taxi driver or bike taxi driver, they will understand where to take you. Their English is terrible but you can explain yourself if you want. I did not experience any amenities with a language barrier - the people are friendly.
Near the market-meat pork, deep-fried chicken and kebabs. Heaps of fruits are cheap, I tried everything. Be sure to wash all "agricultural products" - preferably with bottled water. Clean your teeth using bottled water too. Excursions and razvlekuh full-two weeks is not enough. (((
The food is all spicy, and if you think that you like spicy food, if you are in Thailand for the first time, be sure you haven’t eaten SPICY food yet. ))) in Eateries, warn "Know chili, Know spicy! " otherwise they will cook it as for your loved one)))
I overate all kinds of seafood, ate cobra soup with coconut milk, drank cobra blood and ate my heart - my heart was still beating cool. Local beer Chang and Leo "packaging" 0.33 and 0.6 liters - excellent beer
But just do Pattaya for those who know how to organize their own vacation.
Would I go again, definitely YES.
Would I choose this hotel again - More likely yes than no. If I choose another hotel, then perhaps for a change.

Think a hundred times before checking into this hotel. Or rather, settles in this hot spot, on the outskirts of the city, in the criminal slums!! My goal is to warn of danger based on personal experience. It was the second time in Thailand, I went with a friend. Both were sure that we knew the city well, the distance from the center didn’t scare me too much, there were no problems with transport and it costs a penny, they didn’t take a motorbike.

My goal is to warn of danger based on personal experience. It was the second time in Thailand, I went with a friend. Both were sure that we knew the city well, the distance from the center didn’t scare me too much, there were no problems with transport and it costs a penny, they didn’t take a motorbike. We saw the true picture on the spot, after settling in. The view from the balcony to the wasteland-garbage. The shower is the whole bathroom, since there is no bath in the literal sense. The food is a solid three, monotonous, the pool is good, they are cleaned for 4ku, the staff is quite friendly, like all Thais in general. The disaster lies in the location of the hotel itself. !!!
To get to Severnaya Street (where the Tesco Lotus, the exchange office and other things that enthusiastic tourists write about) you need to go along the dirty and terrible road (we called it Death Road). It is right behind the hotel, to the left. The traffic there is very busy, not a hint of a sidewalk, it is a simple road, which is also loved by local criminals, since it is convenient to do "business" there, to work.
We returned at 4 pm from Lotus with purchases, walked along the edge on the left side. I had a handbag over my shoulder, a bag and a camera in my hands, as soon as the barbed wire began, a motorbike rushed to the right, the person sitting behind me grabbed my bag, pulled it hard. They dragged me on my back along the asphalt until the strap of the bag broke. Everything happened in 10-15 seconds. I will not describe further. short. First aid was provided by the staff at the hotel, I ran to the hotel covered in blood, and the police were called from there. Then there was the Bangkok-Pattaya hospital. And spoiled rest. Everything happened on the 4th day, in broad daylight. From that moment on, we practically did not move at all on foot, we took a taxi, including from the hotel. I am glad that by Moscow standards the prices are ridiculous, you can bargain with a street taxi. It was somehow not up to excursions, I am silent about the beach. Unfortunately, this incident filled the impressions of Tai with black paint: the sun, warmth, a sea of delicious, cheap fruits. The hotel is exclusively Russian and Thai visiting. After the incident with me, there were practically no seats by the pool.
Of course, personally, I'm unlikely to return to Thailand, especially to Pattaya. If you are planning to stay at this hotel, consider in advance the means of transportation from the hotel. DO NOT WALK that road, Don't ruin your rest! !

Thailand is an unusually colorful and interesting country.
Thais are friendly to tourists, many speak English. My husband and I rested at the JP Villa 3 * hotel. First time in Thailand. I liked the hotel, very good service, cleaning with change of towels and bed linen - every day. The room has a safe, air conditioning, a refrigerator filled with 2 bottles of drinking water every day. The territory is not big, everything is very compact. The hotel has an elevator, a restaurant where you can eat. Prices are reasonable, 150-200 baht per person, including salad, first and second courses. Small swimming pool. The hotel is located in the northern part of the city, it takes 20-30 minutes to get to the center by tuk-tuk with a transfer. Of course, this is very inconvenient. Therefore, the hotel is compensated by good service and cleanliness. I recommend it only for young people who are ready to walk a lot, because. there will be enough money for the road. The breakfast is quite good, everything you need is there. You can also have lunch and dinner at Tesco Lotus - this is a large supermarket, on the second floor of which there is an inexpensive dining room - per person, on average 50-70 baht. On the first floor on the left, you can put money on the phone. Also, you can have a bite to eat right on the street, behind the hotel there is a market where the Thais themselves eat. But this is an amateur, of course : )) the food is very different from ours, very spicy seasonings and sauces. But you can buy fruit, the prices are ridiculous (pineapple - 20 baht, bananas - 10, etc. ). Money for the phone can also be filled in the Family market store - a little further than the market.
If you want to dress up - then you are at the Festival Center. A very large shopping center with world brands.
I also recommend a real Thai massage, the Health Land Spa treatment center is a real bliss, for only 450 baht. Contact only professionals, I do not recommend massage on the street. Be sure to visit Wolking street - a huge number of bars, restaurants and all sorts of entertainment if you want exotic))) Life is in full swing on Walking Street until 5-6 in the morning. You can break away completely.
Also, excursions can compensate for the remoteness of the hotel from the center. I advise you to contact Masha, she is a Thai woman who speaks Russian. Prices - the most reasonable, much cheaper than the major tour operators. The quality of excursions is in no way inferior, and maybe even exceeds. Tel 0898154052, tell Yulia and Rustam - will make a discount. Excursions are required:
Alcazar show
Nong Nooch Garden
bangkok
River Kwai
Samet Island -
about him separate information.
From the hotel you need to get to the sea by tuk-tuk for 15-20 minutes. We were at Wong Amat beach. This is a city beach. We didn't like it. The sea in the city is terrible, muddy and with a bad smell. Therefore, many of our tourists go to the islands, crowded with people, paid sunbeds, everything is expensive, there is a chance not to get on the last ferry back, because there are a lot of vacationers.
Exit - distant islands, prices in ascending order - Samet, Koh Chang, Coconut Lagoon. Ideal for 2-3 days, chocolate tan is guaranteed. This is a real paradise - white sand, the cleanest transparent sea, coconut palms... in general, sheer romance))) It is best to go to the islands at the end of your vacation, because. all of the above excursions are quite intense.
In terms of finances: my husband and I took with us $ 700 each. This was enough for all excursions, massages, lunches and dinners, souvenirs, medical cosmetics, and some clothes. No major purchases. We spent everything, to the penny))) This is the minimum that you should have.
Good luck and have a good rest!

We took a tour from the Biblio-Globus. Well done - pleased. At the airport, orchids around the neck, on the way to the hotel, locals gave everyone a sim card with 15 baht in the account. We stayed at the JP Villa from November 24 to December 6.2010. We traveled with 2 families with 10 year olds. Accommodation at the hotel is 2+1, so the children slept in their own beds.

We stayed at the JP Villa from November 24 to December 6.2010. We traveled with 2 families with 10 year olds. Accommodation at the hotel is 2+1, so the children slept in their own beds. The hotel is great in every way. Asked for rooms overlooking the pool, no problem. There is no deposit at the hotel. Hairdryer was taken at the reception without a deposit. Pool towels are always clean and dry. Loungers and mattresses shaft. They broke 1 glass and an ashtray - they did not take money from us upon departure. Our children were delighted. Cleaned up the rooms perfectly. There are a lot of plants and flowers on the territory and in the hotel itself. Very cozy, new, clean and beautiful hotel. The workers are just darlings. Always friendly, smiling and thankful for everything.
Remoteness from Volkin Street and Pierce did not frighten. On foot from the hotel you can go to any streets where you can eat, change money, hang out, and do shopping... just take a tuk-tuk in any direction. Lotus shopping center, Lookdot, Mini Siam, X-show, Tiffany show, Dolphins are not far away - you can walk on foot, 15-20 minutes slowly... while you are walking, you open your mouth at all this beauty of them and do not pay attention, as already on place. Once we arranged a walk to Volkin Street… about 5.5-6 km… along the embankment… beauty… and even walked up there. You can also eat at the hotel, the prices are reasonable (soups 70-75 baht), in the Lotus on the 2nd floor, and of course on the street. Everywhere there is a menu in Russian with prices. So, who has what wealth.
Every day we had excursions from 1 to 3, so we had a very good time.
And chocolate… take Russian chocolate, it works wonders. They were delighted with our Alenka.
I wish you all a good holiday. Tai is a fairy tale. Once there, she will dream for a long time.
