do they offer a last minute tour, are children 2.5 and 7 years old allowed?
Help me quickly decide how the hotel is in general and is it worth going to Thailand with children or is Turkey better? How is the weather in Thailand now?

The weather in Tai is always beautiful! Turkey today? Of course not! Garden hotel with a large clean garden, its own beach, a large swimming pool, a small children's pool. go to the center. Read my review of this hotel, it is, in my opinion, the last one. Have a good rest!!!!

And I advise in sea breeze - Jomtien area, not far from the center and at the same time not noisy, two pools, one for children, you can eat at the hotel. Sea across the road, many grocery stores. If it's cheaper, then take building B.
аватар 4yuka
I agree. The advantage of the Garden is its own beach, in Sea Brezze the beach is municipal.

Beaches in Thailand are all public. They belong to the king. It is impossible for anyone to buy them. You may not be allowed into the hotel, but you are simply required to go to the beach in any hotel.
With children in Pattaya I do not recommend. There is no clean sea anywhere. Only to the islands. Children need to swim, but in Pattaya, maybe every day to ride on the island or sit in the pool. On excursions with such children is also stressful.
аватар Amir1
it is hot now. April is the hottest month.

I really liked the hotel - a huge green area, flowers, palm trees - you will rock. From myself I advise, if possible, order not a building, but a chalet in the park, it's just fantastic. The hotel has a chic multi-level pool with a waterfall and an exit for the kids, as it were, on the shore. Where the chalet has another pool with a jacuzzi, you can swim in it around the clock, unlike the main one. The food is varied, a lot of seafood and fruits. The sea is warm and calm, just right for children - it looks like Azov. Great place - highly recommended!

By the way, we were at the beginning of March, the climate is not hot, like in Turkey in summer, but such a pleasant relaxing warmth. The sun does not bake, even creams are not particularly useful. I wish you a pleasant stay! Tai is a fairy tale!

In the Garden you can take another bungalow, also in the garden.

Well, have you finally chosen? Unsubscribe so that we do not break spears here!

the tour company dissuaded me from going now, the little one fell ill with terrible conjunctivitis, we decided better at the end of May to Turkey. Thanks everyone for the advice and advice. We will go to Thailand later when we grow up.

Were in the middle of January. Wonderful weather! Now I don't know which one.
In Garden Sea View with children I do not advise. Although they have their own beach, the water in the city is dirty. You need to swim on the islands. And from this hotel to the islands for a long time to get. It is better to choose a hotel near Walking Street and the pier. In 15-20 minutes you will be on the island with the cleanest beaches.
Although this hotel has a nice green area, there is where to walk.

The water on the beaches of the north of Pattaya is the same as in Turkey and Egypt. In any sea, if you sail away from the coast, there will be a clear sea. On the islands, too, the sea is different. There is transparent, there is cloudy. With children in Thailand, only those people who are not afraid of such advisers as here and in travel agencies have a rest. Because in fact, you can’t go to Turkey with a child either (there are only discos and entertainment, the food is terrible), and to Egypt (it’s too hot there, children are exhausted on excursions, the food is terrible), etc. etc. !!! Why are you giving advice when people have never been to this country? Thailand, by the way, will give odds to Turkey and Egypt taken together in terms of comfort, excursions, climate, food, and the attitude of Thais towards tourists. So if you were in Thailand exclusively "hotel (sleep) - Walking Street (night) - hotel (breakfast) - pool", then you don't need to scare people with your impressions of the depraved life of Pattaya and the dirty sea.
This hotel itself is amazing. And the territory has its own, and the beach is separate, and the location is good - in the north, because. the current is from north to south, respectively, in the south the water is muddy and dirty, and in the north it is good.

I fully agree with the previous speaker!

anapika, 4yuka. I live in Thailand with my family. I have a 5 year old daughter. I know what I am saying. Traveling to Thailand with children is like driving a Ferrari, but not even starting it, let alone driving it. You can go, but in this case you will get only 20% maximum pleasure from Thailand. Why waste time and money? For this, there are places that are cheaper and more convenient with children. That's what it's about. And you can go, but what's the point???? Especially since the child is 2.5 years old. The whole holiday will be reduced to a hotel-beach-hotel. Is this why they go to Thailand? What about Kwai? Elephants? Parks where you have to walk in the heat all day? Even that same Walkin Street. And how to go to the show "Shocking Asia"? An open zoo where it takes 4 hours on a bike to get around everything. How to do this with a child of 2.5 years??? And if this is not done, then why Thailand at all ??? Think.

The fact of the matter, Amir1, is that at the moment the prices for tours to Thailand are almost equal to the prices to Turkey and Egypt (if you choose comfortable hotels where you can at least not get poisoned and not bring cockroaches back home in your suitcase). Therefore, I see no reason to go to Turkey and Egypt for the same money, when you can plunge into such exotic things. It’s just that I myself observed a girl from Moscow who was in Thailand with her 4-year-old daughter (they were together). And she went with us to Kwai. The girl really liked it. When there was rafting, my mother left the point under the supervision of a guide - that's all. They even rode elephants together. I myself have been to Thailand 3 times, in Pattaya I have friends who live and work there. Was 1 time at the Alcazar show. I didn’t go to pubs on Walkin Street, only to coastal cafes, the food in which is breathtaking. Nevertheless, I do not consider myself disadvantaged in the knowledge of the culture of Thailand.. And I would love to go back there many more times.

4 years is not 2.5.
аватар Amir1
I did not take into account the fact that you are from Russia and completely forgot about the Russian prices for Tai. Sorry. The fact is that from Ukraine to Turkey now a good hotel for 3 with a child costs no more than 1500 dollars, and to Thailand only tickets are at least 1500, not to mention the tour and accommodation there. We need about 3000.
аватар Amir1
and flight to Turkey 2 hours, and to Thailand 9 hours.
аватар anapika
You can reschedule the flight once so that you can get high there for 2 weeks. I don’t know about age, depending on what kind of child. But I won't argue. Everyone chooses their own vacation :)
Flight from us to Thailand - 9 hours, to Turkey - 4-5 hours. The cost of vouchers to Thailand and Turkey is the same for us. Let me explain. Thailand, 3* hotel, breakfast meals, for 13 nights costs $2250 for two, plus meals outside the hotel for a maximum of $900. Turkey, 5* hotel (no less), all-inclusive meals, 13 nights costs $2800. That's the whole schedule. And whether the game is worth the candle - let the one who is going on vacation decide.

I agree

I don’t know, maybe the climate in March seemed cool to someone, but I was there in early March (2009), and really died from stuffiness and humidity. Especially when the sun was shining. Although on the 2nd day we burned out great and with a cloudy sky.
On the coast, even more or less, but, for example, wandering around Bangkok is completely unbearable.
IMHO, in March-April it is worth going there for those who normally tolerate heat, and even at 100% humidity.
аватар anapika
Fleta, I was at the same time in Pattaya in the same year. Didn't feel any discomfort. No stuffiness, no humidity. The heat (+30) is well tolerated there. The climate is so special.
аватар 4yuka
Guys, why are we arguing here - they don’t go anywhere anymore. And Tai is our love !!! On April 6, we fly there for the 3rd time. Anapika, we are of the same blood !!!
аватар 4yuka
Yes, I forgot! A year ago, by the way, we were in Welcome.
аватар Angelika55
Guys, write who the thread is, who will go to Pattaya in the near future, how is the situation there with all sorts of natural disasters, otherwise they broadcast on TV ... that somehow everything is not sooo ... soon to go, and the horror is pumped out of proportion!
аватар Amir1
and you look at what they show and tell about our native lands, where you live. There will be more horror :)))))))
аватар 4yuka
Amir1, tell us about the weather, so to speak, first-hand, as an eyewitness. We are flying to Phuket on April 6th.
аватар Amir1
I won’t say about Phuket, I don’t go there. And with Pattaya, the weather is very different.
аватар 4yuka
I was asking about the earthquake and flood. Your local weather forecast.
аватар Amir1
Well guys, Phuket is not the best place to stay right now. And why were they so obsessed with him? There is also Koh Chang, for example. Nothing worse. And the weather is better there. Another would be to convey this to our travel agents ...
