- a beautiful area, there is where to walk and take pictures
- near the sea and a beautiful pool
- gorgeous view from the restaurant and from the beach to the Temple of Truth
- own beach with sunbeds and swings
- good breakfasts
- you can swim in the sea (if you are not very picky about the color of the water)
Minuses:
- far from tuk-tuks
- part of the road was dug up, even a taxi could not come, find a detour
- upon check-in, you need to pay a deposit in baht (they change, but the exchange rate is not favorable)
- from this deposit they will then deduct for glasses (even if you didn’t break anything, but 1 is different from the other in shape, so check everything when you check in. There was a scandal about this with us), towels, slippers, bathrobes. Also for drinks at the bar.
- apparently anyone can eat and drink and write to the account of your number. We didn’t take anything at the bar, towels were handed in on time, when I checked out, I personally stood watching them check the room, but they gave the deposit minus a 100 baht cocktail. My indignation knew no bounds. The guides from the annex tour intervened, for which I am very grateful to them, they scratched out (you can’t call it otherwise) this money back and gave it to us on the bus to the airport.
- very noisy, we jumped when the neighbors walked upstairs in the room, no soundproofing.
- they rent rooms for locals for a few nights for a drinking party and they walk on the street next to the room, drink, talk at the table.
They also rent areas by the pool and next to the villa to Thai or Chinese sports teams. Those in the morning ran through the woods cheerful starts, in the evening there was a concert in 2 places, the music was screaming.
- there are not enough sunbeds, you need to borrow at 5 in the morning. We decided to lie down by the pool calmly, it was not there. A local mother sat on my sunbed, I also sat down, she got up, but sat next to the curb and yelled all the time, now into the phone, then controlled her children in the pool, the coach taught them to swim. This is not a hotel, but a front yard. Conclusion - if you are going to spend little time in the hotel and will be on excursions all the time, then it will suit you. If you want peace and tranquility, then consider another option.
The exchanger is located next to seven and left with large glasses. doors, it is more profitable to change it. There is also a yellow little one further, less profitable. Items can be washed in the laundry. self-service machines for 40 baht. powder is also sold.
There are plenty of cafes, Russian cuisine is near the hotel. There are a lot of massages, but I didn’t get a foot massage and oil massage (just stroked it), but I don’t risk the classic one.
Where can you go:
- went by tuk-tuk to the fish market. It's fun to see how it all pans out. We bought it for 400 baht, cooked it in a cafe nearby, paid 250.40 baht for cooking for 2 people who were sitting at the table. Ate, but did not enjoy.
- liked terminal 21, be sure to visit
- self-service buffet opposite the northern bus station. 300 baht per person and 60 per pan and eat as much meat and seafood as you want. There are tiles on the table, they put a pot of broth and you cook it yourself as you like. Also incl. drinks, ice cream, ready meals.
- Koh Samet island. We went for 2 nights ourselves without booking, only a transfer of 800 baht per person, in the evenings we watched a fire show. You can swim, but the waves.
- Ko Lan. There are no waves, but the Chinese and Indians come there in batches.
Where to spend this deposit? You can eat and drink at the hotel and write down the bill to the room, then the amount will be deducted from the deposit. Although, the restaurant in the hotel is much more expensive than in the city and in the Thai markets, but sometimes too lazy to go somewhere and ate at the hotel. Well prepared, delicious.
The hotel is aimed at the Russian contingent (in the bulk), there are a lot of signs and announcements in Russian, the staff understands Russian a little (reception), but if there is any problem, then they suddenly stop understanding. Fines are provided for everything here - God forbid you lose the key to the safe, break something or get dirty!
This is the only hotel in the area located on the first line, so all the guests from neighboring hotels go here (many hotels of the same owner), so there can be a problem with sunbeds. Well, how so, we specifically chose a hotel on the first line and on you, we can’t find a free sunbed, it was occupied by those who bought a trip to the top three on the 3rd line and came here (because the hotels have an agreement among themselves). Also, the same guests do not disdain to swim in "our" pool.
The pool is not bad, but when relaxing with children on the pool, keep in mind that there are very deep zones here (1.8 m), so that the eye and eye so that the child does not plump there.
Around the pool is a beautiful area, a lot of flowering and fragrant trees. The beach is not bad, the views are simply stunned - on the temple of Truth.
But the part of the territory to the right of the sea is simply stupid, some kind of forest with trees and not a single bench. It’s worth somehow ennobling it or something, organizing recreation areas, it’s empty in vain. The trees there grow interesting with aerial roots.
We had a hotel room with a sea view in the main building. I advise everyone to book rooms with a sea view, since you are checking into a hotel on the coast. The furniture in the room is from the past, but the equipment is not bad. Everything you need is there: a tea set, baths, a bathrobe and slippers, there was even an umbrella. Internet only at the reception (as a result, we connected the package to a local SIM card and were everywhere with the Internet).
From the hotel there is one path, along which there are several cafes, fruit shops and shops, on the same side there is an exchange office. By alleys you can reach the highway (Naklua) - the road to the city (by tuk-tuk for 10 baht). Almost near the Orthodox church, we found a Thai market.
The location of the hotel allows you to get to the fish market. I advise everyone to visit - everything is splashing in troughs, they will immediately cook for you for 30 baht on the grill, you can sit in the park nearby to eat.
For other entertainment, you need to go to the center - this is Walking Street and shopping centers. And, of course, be sure to have excursions, there are so many of them in Pattaya, it’s hard to decide right away. I would like to visit everywhere.
At home, I started looking for trips, and of all the local firms, I leaned more towards Nika Travel. Upon arrival at the hotel, we contacted the manager, he came to our hotel, we made an advance payment, the rest was paid when boarding the bus. We took tours of the action and got a free trip to the Laguna (how great it is there! ).
All liked it! I will not describe, for a long time. They didn’t take the guide from the hotel, it’s not profitable at all (although he says our prices are lower than on the “street” and “promotions”, but there is no benefit in the compartment), we never take excursions from a tour operator, from local firms always better quality and price.
Holidays in Pattaya are interesting - we liked it, there is a desire to return, maybe even to this hotel, although its policy makes it a little tense on vacation (deposit, no internet in the room, safe at the reception).
Leave a review for this hotel. There were three of us - two adult women and my little daughter.
Because of her, I chose the hotel away from the noise of city life.
Our vacation began on September 19, we were in Pattaya for 10 days.
Of course there are pluses - a vast territory, a huge pool,
In principle, not bad breakfast - fresh and tasty.
I read a lot about not polite staff -
To be honest, we've never met. Always help. Deposit returned a penny
a penny, except for the checks spent on drinks and tea for a child.
But all the pleasure of the rest was crossed out by theft in the rooms.
Guides in the eyes say - you do not prove anything. be ready
that they can open your suitcase (yes, yes, while we were on
meeting with the hotel guide for an hour - my frail lock on the suitcase
broke, slammed it shut from the playful hands of her three-year-old daughter,
shook everything to the last panties), dig in the purchased gifts
every last candy wrapper in search of money. We came with a child
from the pool, this "maid" dug in my suitcase, and ran away to an indignant scream, and did not even leave water.
Ay, if any representatives of the hotel are reading this! We lived in room 1323
on the third floor - from 19 to 26 September - you can see who it is
did - there are cameras. After we were asked to move to the 4th floor,
the room service changed and our things were shaken out more.
But the familiar "maid" managed to empty his pockets
relaxed (of course people didn’t expect it, it was in the last days of rest,
of course, we warned, but... ) people on the 4th floor (on September 27, I saw her there in person).
Pulled out about 6 thousand.
And the child in the next room did not hesitate to pull out 25 rubles in change from toys.
Keep money in a safe. I don't want to spill the negativity
I just hope to warn tourists,
suddenly they also have no luck with the "maid".
Lady in years, hides her eyes to the floor.
When checking in at the hotel, you will be required to deposit 2.000 baht, they don’t take dollars in principle, and you can exchange at a very bad rate at the hotel, so it’s better to take a break and walk 400 meters from the hotel to the exchange office.
In general, there is nothing special to do in the hotel, so I recommend studying a variety of guidebooks, reviews, and planning as much as possible to see worthwhile places. By the way, there is a seafood market not far from the hotel, where you can immediately cook and eat them, I highly recommend it.
If they agitate you to buy latex pillows, don’t be fooled, you can buy them many times cheaper in the city, but I don’t think you should do it there either.
I do not recommend going to the shock show 69, we went, we were very disappointed. About nothing)))).
It is better to go to the islands and swim there))).
Of course, the biggest advantage is the territory of the hotel. This is also a large garden, although it is not a garden, but a square, it is correct to call it, a large coastal strip, there is also a sandy entrance to the sea. Beautiful views are guaranteed! And to the fishing pier, and to the magnificent Temple of Truth. An incredible building that stands out very much against the background of modern skyscrapers. Someone has already noted that this is a quiet backwater.
It was minus in the evening, there were a lot of mosquitoes, we bought funds in shops nearby, convenient sprays that saved us.
When we visited the city beach, we were very glad that we chose this particular hotel, because by day it is noisy and crowded, and in the evenings there are a lot of rodents. There are a lot of Russians in the hotel, and not only with Garden Sea View. All neighboring hotels come to the beach, some even use the pool. But thank God it's big enough. There were enough beds for everyone. Sunbeds can be moved around the territory to a convenient place.
As for accommodation, everything is quite modest and outdated. It can be seen that the hotel itself is solid, but there are many imperfections and defects that would be nice to eliminate. This is old plumbing, and in some places mold (black), medel pokaryabanaya - this is in the room. Cosmetic repairs would not hurt at all, especially since the hotel claims to be 4 stars. There are many buildings on the territory that have already lost their functions. Gym - one name - simulators creak. The hotel staff is helpful. Safes at the reception are open from 6 am to 12 am, leaving early for an excursion, you must not forget about the schedule and take care of the money in advance. You can’t leave the safe empty, that is, if you have reserved a cell, you need to store something in it, otherwise they will give it to others, a bit strange policy, but oh well. For the loss of the key, a fine of 5.000 baht (10.000 rubles)! Deposit per room 2000 baht and only baht. Here are the rules. Wi-Fi at the reception appeared, the speed is not bad. Currency exchange at the hotel is unfavorable, the exchange rate is too low. Yes, and in exchange offices nearby as well. A little higher in the city center.
In addition to the main buildings, chalets (villas) or two-story wooden houses stand apart in the hotel. This green area is a real jungle. Garden Sea View is a place to relax, calm and measured.
Of course, we got out into the city and were on excursions that we took in Nika Travel, having read good reviews. Interesting excursions, a quiet, green hotel, gentle sun and incredibly warm sea, unusually delicious tropical fruits and friendly Thai people left a lot of positive. We arrived so successfully that we witnessed the Fireworks Festival. Two evenings admired fireworks and fireworks, which were launched directly over the sea, just great.
the sea is quite clean and the beach is sandy
breakfast is very good, lots of fruit
the area is very beautiful and calm
the staff at the reception is not friendly, they pretend that they do not understand Russian
first they settle in a villa next to the laundry - there is nothing to breathe there (stale air)
but upon request, you can move to a 6-storey hotel
the rooms are cleaned very badly: there is no wet cleaning - only sweeping
Towels and bed linen are also not changed every day.
upon check-in, they require to pay 1000 baht (deposit) per person
the ruble exchange rate at the hotel is very low 1000 rubles-700 baht
in exchange offices in the city, the rate is 1000 rubles -875 baht
buy excursions on the street at half the price of guides
WI-Fi at the reception and paid
there is a pier near the hotel (10 minutes walk) from there you can take a ferry to the island of Koh Lan very cheap than buying an excursion
In general, you can relax! Good luck and enjoy your holiday!
