And so in order. . .
Arrived, checked in on time. The rooms were given better than expected after reading the reviews. The rooms have everything to wash, cook, relax and sleep. In short, the beginning was wonderful. We (and there were 4 of us) had 3 gift tours from the host tour. agencies. The first tour was frankly bad, but the other two are just wonderful!
There were no signs of trouble. . .
A couple of days later we went to Cambodia for 2 days. (the tour was bought in a travel agency from outside, not in Ilves). Upon arrival at Emerald 3 * at night, they opened the doors of the rooms with the keys (we did not hand them in before leaving, we left the hotel at 4 in the morning, we were in a hurry, we forgot).
In the rooms (in two) everything was upside down - wardrobes, bedside tables open, things scattered, bags open and empty lying on the bed and near . . And all this behind closed doors (entrance and balcony)!
We called the travel agent and heard in response that it was not necessary to buy a trip to Cambodia on the street - in this case, this happens... After all, we allegedly gave all the information about our stay to other people. But here a misfire occurred.
In addition to the number of people who are going on a tour, the name of the hotel and your name - no more information - we agreed on the phone, paid into the hands of the driver who drove for us and EVERYTHING!
The hotel was asked to show the recordings of surveillance cameras - they are on the first floor, and in the corridor on our floor. records in the office. The next day, our guide arrived and said that the cameras were broken - they hadn’t been working for two weeks already... Having written a statement about what happened to their travel agency that sold us check-in at this hotel and Ilves, they began to wait for an answer. The answer came a day later from our tour operator - a quote;
Thai response:
They bought an excursion from a street agency (not from us) to Cambodia. They went, returned, and found that things were scattered in their room. At first they thought they had been robbed. But then they found out that nothing was missing.
The hotel claims that there were no strangers in the hotel, this was recorded by CCTV cameras in the lobby. TO
Unfortunately, there are no cameras in the corridors. The hotel declined to comment on the mess to the room, and suggested that this was all arranged by the tourists on purpose. "
I will not describe further details and facts - I can only say that in EMERALDA YOU WILL NOT FEEL SAFE!
