Everything was not bad, Supperion room without a balcony 4202 on the 2nd floor, wi-fi caught well, cleaned normally for a tip of 20 baht, New Year's show concert started at 6 pm, the buffet opened at 8 pm, the menu was very good, the show is very weak. Breakfast without fanaticism, everything is modest. Upon check-in, the deposit is 1000 baht. They made a mistake, as they later found out that they did not hand over the mini-bar immediately upon check-in !! ! 10 minutes before departure from the hotel, when they handed over the room and the keys, we are billed 260 baht, supposedly we drank beer from the mini-bar yesterday, and then we put ours there, sorted it out, argued, ruffled our nerves, and the guide said that you don’t prove , spat and left!! ! Very unpleasant!
There is only one minus (maybe a plus for someone), it is located in the Northern part on Naklua Street and it takes 10-15 minutes to get to the "dolphins" by tuk-tuk (for 10 baht), 30-40 minutes to Walkin Street depends on traffic jams , and they are almost constant. Better of course on a bike (for 80 baht), 10-12 minutes to Walkin Street. Well, that's why the price for remoteness for a hotel of this level is cheaper than in the center or the first line of about 6-9 thousand, or even more. Maybe, of course, someone welcomes the silence, tranquility, the singing of birds, but we went to Pattaya to have an active rest, to have fun. And sometimes it was very annoying remoteness from the center and the coast.
When buying a tour to this hotel, choose only Deluxe rooms !! ! They are located in the modern, new building of the hotel. Rooms with balconies. In the yard - a swimming pool. Upon check-in, you will immediately receive coupons for breakfast for all days of your stay.
If you have a Superior, then:
1. You are automatically placed in the old building. Neither the operator's website nor the hotel's website has this information. It is written that the difference is only in footage.
2. You will not find balconies and terraces in Superior. Windows to choose from - either on a noisy street, or on the wall of the building, which is a couple of meters from your windows.
3. You will have to beg for a coupon for breakfast every day.
4 Yes, the MOST IMPORTANT thing about Superior - There is a RISK of being settled in the worst room 3710 on the 7th floor. This room is located under the jacuzzi, which is located along with the pool on the roof of the old building (the view there, of course, is beautiful, the pool itself is also nothing)
1) . Of the features - in the room the noise of bubbling water and vibration, just near the head of the bed. The hotel staff pretends not to understand what they are talking about, pretending not to know the origin of the sounds. We hoped that the jacuzzi would be turned off for the night - they did not turn it off, although the access to the pool was closed at 20:00. Couldn't sleep at night. Used earplugs - did not help.
2). Ants were found in the room, climbed into things on the table.
3). Water left the sink for a very long time, i. e. only one can wash.
4). The shower does not switch to faucet mode, although it is there.
five). There were robes rolled up in a heap and 2 pairs of dirty slippers in the closet : ) it actually killed me.
As a result, almost the whole next day was killed in order to achieve resettlement. They refused under all sorts of pretexts, saying "come back tomorrow. " Although the newcomers that day were settled in other rooms. It was also not possible to move to the new building for an additional fee - there were no free rooms. They asked at least to turn off the jacuzzi for the night - they did not agree, although you can’t use it at night. Then the question arose that the tour operator would provide us with another hotel, and then the guide and the hotel managed to agree, we were settled in a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the wall.
But everything worked, except for one button on the TV remote, but this is nonsense compared to everything else. There were no bathrobes and slippers. Apparently, they were the privilege of only number 3710, as compensation for everything else))).
In general, we got a chance to sleep, and this was the main thing, because. we traveled a lot and managed to sleep only 4 hours.
Yes, from room 3710, after the proceedings, we were asked to move as quickly as possible so that other poor fellows could be settled there (hello to those who had been there). Apparently, this is a passing object, which tests people for patience. Someone will go to swear, and someone will endure. But the number of the grandmother works out, so for them = everything is ok. In a good way, instead of this number it was necessary to make those. room.
The food is tolerable.
Location is ok too.
Internet - was not available for 3 days during our stay. Who really needs it - there is an Internet club nearby for 15 rubles / hour.
It took a long time to get the deposit back. I had to repeat it 5 times and wait 15 minutes. Probably, we hoped that we would leave without him, so as not to be late for the airport.
In general, I consider the SUPERIOR room fund and service to be the biggest drawback.
The hotel as a whole is not bad, it fully corresponds to the declared 3 *, but the staff and service are unique. Never and nowhere have I seen such arrogance and impudence towards tourists.
In the first days, $500 was missing from the room. Naturally, only we ourselves are to blame here, because. all money and valuables must be stored in a safe. Having told the guide about this loss, they told us if your money was not in the safe, then you simply did not have this money. Perhaps they considered these notes as tips. But here it is obvious that theft is the money was at the bottom of the bag, wrapped in paper and in a bag. Oh well, there's no way you can prove that you had the money. After this incident, we stopped tipping the maid of unknown gender.
A few days later, coming from the beach, we were faced with the fact that our door card key stopped working. Our maid stood nearby and helped open the door. Our room was neatly cleaned. After 10-15 minutes, I went to the balcony and saw a broken huge balcony glass, ran to the reception. It was obvious that when leaving the room the glass was intact, if it were otherwise, the maid immediately informed the staff about this. When we arrived, it was already broken. Apparently, they hit it very hard when they opened the door (but believe me, it takes a lot of effort to do this) At the reception, the Russian guide asked us to wait (as a result, we sat waiting for 1.5 hours) Already it was getting dark. I approached
to the Thai guide (fortunately, I know English), went to the guards to make a report on those who came into our room). We were asked to come to the reception by 9.00 the next day. At 10:15 no one approached us. Realizing that the hotel was just chaos, we decided to report to the police. I will not describe in detail how long we spent in the hotel lobby, how long we were in the police, what kind of mood we were in. All this lasted 4 days. We were moved to a new room. After 1 day, I decided to check the check for our previous number. Our debt was 18.000 baht. This is where we just went crazy. They began to call the hotline, our guide, talked with the hotel manager. Fortunately, the issue was resolved, we were fined for the glass. But no one even apologized. 4 days of rest simply disappeared. On the hotline, they answered me (Aleksey): of course, this is an emergency, but forget about apologies, it ended very well for you.
Once at the hotel restaurant we ordered a dish for dinner for 150 baht and 120 baht. Tired of waiting, we decided to pay and ask to bring to the room. They bring a bill of about 500 baht. A dish for 120 was issued with a price of 150 baht. When we began to ask why such a price, we were told that they had added more shrimp. Spaghetti also appeared on our bill, which was not even a question. And the most surprising thing is that the restaurant staff raise their voices to the guests, they just shouted at us.
2 days before leaving, I stained the sheets. We are billed: 1000 baht. I again turned to our guide, together we went to the hotel manager. I explain to the manager that I have never seen such a hotel anywhere. everything is billed. I ask why they make me pay for the sheets? Is 1000 baht too much for putting up a stain? They ask me: will 500 suit you? (After all, laundry services, etc. ) Bottom line: I paid 500 baht.
And when leaving, they again figured out for a very long time, 20 minutes, why we did not have to pay 18.000.
Basically, it's just a zoo. The staff of this hotel needs to learn long and hard how to work with people and make their guests happy. This trip left an indelible impression on our memory.
LOCATION: The hotel is in the northern part of Pattaya, located right on Naklua Road, from there “direct” tuk-tuks go to the center, back as lucky... There are no clear routes, and if there are few passengers, they go straight from the second street directly to the first. This is not a big problem, walk a few meters and change to another tuk-tuk, that one will definitely take you home! The issue price is 10 rubles (butt) from the nose (one trip). By the time of 10 minutes drive, if there are no traffic jams on the first street. In my opinion, getting there is convenient!
Walking to the sea for 15-20 minutes, we swam on the beach of the Garden Sea View Resort 4, the beaches are municipal, so there is no problem to get to the beach. On the beach sunbeds (free of charge), shower, swimming pool, cafe. The sea is quite clean, the bottom is flat, sandy. Near the "Russian" area, many restaurants, tour agencies, etc. , focused on Russians (in the direction of Garden Sea View). A five-minute walk "Seven Eleven", mini-market.
ROOMS: the hotel consists of three buildings, 1st and 2nd - old, renovated, 3rd - new. Standard rooms, as I understand it, are located in old buildings, in the new superior and deluxe rooms. It seems to me that it is better to book them, then they will be like in the pictures on the hotel website (they can face the road, but the sea is in the same direction). The standard is simpler, plus there were problems with the sewerage (not critical, but the water from the sink did not leave well), as the guide said, this is the problem of the entire hotel. We were settled on the first floor (they could move, but bribed their own "garden" of palm trees, there were no balconies in other rooms of the old buildings). Linen and towels were changed and cleaned daily.
HOTEL in general: Reception staff very pleasant. Very affordable laundry. The breakfasts are delicious, if you wish, you can find some variety, there is everything, up to soups; with baking only tight. Massage is very inexpensive, 200 baht per hour (2 hours - 320), but in the city (towards Garden Sea View), you can find 150 per hour. There is a nice swimming pool on the roof of the new building.
IMPRESSIONS: I probably would not go to Pattaya for the second time... Smells, fuss, and general disorder. The neighborhood of expensive hotels with shacks and garbage dumps. City of contrasts!
But most excursions are from there. The CROCODILES and the rock garden were a gift from the Biblio-Globus. Interesting, you can take beautiful pictures. NONNG NOCH: also beautiful, but, it seems to me, also for photographs mainly; perhaps we were not very lucky with the guide (the tour was taken on the street). AYUTTHAYA + KWAY: also taken on the street, 3400 per person (elephant riding included). Much cheaper than the tour operator, in addition, the combination of Kwai and Ayutthaya, in my opinion, is very successful, because. Ayutthaya is on the road to Kwai. As a result, the transfer is not so tiring, the tour is very eventful. Two-day tour, includes Ayutthaya (3 temples), lunch, elephant village + rafting on small rafts, radon springs, dinner, overnight at a hotel on the river (the hotel, however, looks more like a summer house, very, very budgetary))), but in terms of functionality not so bad, clean bed, working plumbing, hot shower, fan. There was even a TV, but they didn’t check whether it works or not, because they only came to spend the night. Then breakfast, rafting on a large raft with waterfalls, then Erawan - a seven-stage waterfall. Dinner. Well, plus there are three stores, but very unobtrusively. Here the guide, Ivan, was very much in the subject! We also went to KO SAMET on our own, with an overnight stay. We also bought a transfer in a street (not Russian-speaking, almost opposite the hotel) agency (in Russian it was more expensive). 1400 for two round trip. They took a room there for 1300 (for two, it could have been cheaper, but this hotel sunk into the soul). All night the sea was noisy right under the window, and the air conditioner in the room was + taystyle + deserted beach (the sea is clean and warm, fine, almost white sand) . . and they cooked delicious food nearby! This is where I would love to go back!
RESULT: The combination of price and quality of the Crystal suited us perfectly. As well as its location (which is the most important in Pattaya, in my opinion. )
