We arrived in Pattaya at 6-7 pm (maybe later, I can’t say for sure, it gets dark early). The first bad premonitions appeared when we turned off the main street and drove along dark alleys... when we got off the bus, a pungent smell immediately struck (it turned out to be just the smell of the city, who knows that it stinks in some places terribly, this is both food and dampness from the sea, and sewerage), it was noisy in the neighboring hotel, they sang karaoke (this is the second nuisance... at the reception it was not long to wait, BUT why in the reviews about this hotel no one wrote that it was Indian !! ! There are a lot of Hindus, I have nothing against them, but my husband and I were shocked (
Superior room, well, yes, you can say like in the picture, but 5 years ago, it feels like renovation is needed... I didn’t sleep on the sheet at all, because it was not white, although this color was meant.
It's better not to eat in the rooms! Not a joke! At all! I decided to make myself coffee from a bag, it turned out to be terribly fragrant, lay down on the bed, went online via wifi (good, no complaints) and I feel someone moving on my hand... my husband has never seen such huge cockroaches and a long hysteria : (
Breakfasts are monotonous, but quite acceptable, the staff is adequate, tips were left for the maids (in general, if you think that you need to tip, then do not spare only 20 baht, because "you will not get poorer, and a person will not get rich... ")
The hotel is located in the center 3-4 minutes to the main street, from there another 10 minutes to the beach, but we didn’t swim there, although the beach is very pretty, but now I’ll give an advertisement : ) there is a cafe near the hotel, an American keeps it, he cooks it himself wife, well, we had lunch and dinner only there, they cook very very very tasty, well done !! ! And there is a cafe near an Italian restaurant, of course, it is not presentable in appearance, but after tasting their chops, you can forget about everything : )
Let's get back to the hotel : ) There are 3 (! ) pools on the territory, but one of them is on the roof and is being renovated, the rest are on the first floor, the pools are like pools, you can swim. By the way, about water, in Thailand they order water, so if you didn’t order it on time or didn’t have time to bring it, you won’t wash yourself, even in this hotel there are interruptions in hot water.
No one is in the hotel all day, there are excursions for several days, so it’s quite suitable for spending the night, breakfast and swimming in the pool, several Russian channels, incl. you can live : )
They haven’t mentioned it in the reviews yet, or maybe it’s rare that either the owner or the manager of the hotel comes to someone and predicts the future : ) free service, well, if it comes true, maybe we’ll come back to this hotel... but in general, on vacation in Thailand myself the hotel does not affect and Pattaya does not affect either, to be honest, in some areas of this city it is disgusting, it is a pity that people spend their lives like this, but Pattaya is not Thailand, that's all you need to understand on this vacation : )
The staff is friendly, they speak English, the pool is small, near the entrance to the hotel, but we didn’t swim there (we didn’t have enough time : ); the breakfast is good, we never left hungry))) the rooms are large enough (fridge, TV are quite new), bed The towels are clean and the room has both a bathtub and a shower. Cleaning is normal, no complaints, nothing is missing. The room also has a safe, free wireless internet, tea and coffee set, electric kettle, hair dryer, room slippers, bathrobes.
For reasonable money, no flaws were found. I recommend the hotel to those who want to be close to the center.
