It is not for nothing that they say that Thailand is a country of contrasts. So it is: hotels are like palaces, nature indulges in abundance and beauty, but the poverty of the population sometimes shocks.
There is a lot to see in Thailand. I would even say not to watch again. Here, there is a diverse flora and fauna, there is a great variety of unprecedented fruits, and white sand beaches (on the islands, of course), and the choice of excursions and entertainment is very large.
I want to say separately about the resort itself. There is an opinion that only young people are interested in Pattaya. Nothing like this! Of course, if your goal is to relax on the beach - you are on the islands. But if you want to know Thai as it is - definitely Pattaya!
And now about the hotel. CENTURY is quite a 3 *. no more and no less. Old but very comfortable hotel. Everywhere very clean, very friendly and polite staff.
Daily cleaning of the room, clean white linen. Three Russian channels. Standard rooms are small and simple. Views from the windows of the city. By the way, the location is very convenient - on the main street. Any of the supermarkets - BigCi or TOPS - is a stone's throw away, there are also a fruit market and a bunch of all sorts of shops with things and souvenirs, a lot of cafes nearby. And also in the immediate vicinity is a huge shopping and entertainment complex Central Festival Pattaya. Near the Festival there is a very cheap market where you can buy good souvenirs.
Breakfast at the hotel is not very varied. Buffet, where you can choose from: scrambled eggs, ham, sausages, Thai noodles, Thai soups with chicken, pork, fish, pancakes, rice with vegetables, and some other Thai dishes. The choice of vegetables and fruits is poor: cucumber, tomato, pineapple and watermelon. From drinks, a couple of types of juice, coffee, tea.
The pool is small but very clean. The entire territory of the hotel and there is a swimming pool with a well-groomed tiny garden.
In general, as I said - 3 * no more, no less. You can ride without fear: no bedbugs, no theft.
And as a bonus to the hotel - in the next building there is a massage parlor "Sasha" (Sasha). I love masseuses. They are so friendly and funny! Yes, the massage is very good. Also in this salon you can buy excursions. DO NOT BE AFRAID! This is a licensed agency. And the owner is a wonderful person. He speaks very good Russian. I bought all excursions only there, including to Bangkok and on the river. Qui. Everything was top notch. Buses Pegas Touristik and Natalie Tours traveled close to our bus, only they paid 1.5-2 times more and rode large buses. And we had small groups of 10-13 people and super comfortable minibuses.
And our Russian tour operators, in my opinion, buy excursions in the same Thai agencies. That's it.
