There was a slight misunderstanding at the reception. and that is my fault, my lame English. I forgot to print the insurance, Dan travel agency, where I bought the tour, sent it to the hotel post office to print
The safe was at the reception. What's more, it's free.
On the territory of the hotel, in a shady corner, there was a small pool - our favorite place in the evenings.
For breakfast, the restaurant usually served scrambled eggs or sausages with a side dish of pasta. Well, there was coffee, jams, etc. Sliced pineapple and juicy watermelon were always present.
Our hotel was well located next to a large shopping mall. Luckily, because Lena and I are big fans of shopping.
We did not wash ourselves, but a couple of times we used the laundry service, which is located to the right of the hotel. For a bunch of T-shirts and shorts, we were charged only 150 baht.
It was five minutes walk to the sea, but we loved to go swimming on the island of Koh Lan. Cleaner and more private.
We also visited the zoo. It's 500 baht per person. We advise! Where else can you feed a giraffe or a rhinoceros right from your hands? !
Friendly staff, huge hotel parking, a clean and large pool, a two-tiered place for sunbeds (if you want to sunbathe above the pool, you want by the pool), a spacious royal hall - did we really come to the top three, I thought on the first day ? ! This is a solid four by hotel standards!
The rooms are wonderful! Clean, bright, especially liked the bathroom. Everything was cleaned on time, no one scared us with dirty towels on the last day - as some wrote here. Tea was left every other day, but it was always clean and good. In general, if you treat the staff well and don’t be a bitch and shake your rights, then you will be treated accordingly.
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, mashed potatoes, stewed vegetables, salads, quail eggs, noodles and rice of various kinds, pork with sprouts, pies and jelly, toast, toast in an egg, mashed soup. Separately, I note the white cold "milk" from the tank next to the orange Yuppi - try, like Smecta, something very tasty. And try coffee - not on the buffet, but take it for a fee to the pool in the morning . . ohh, what delicious coffee with natural cream, they bring you to the sunbed on a tray in a jug. Pleasure costs... 60 rubles! ))) In general, the menu of the hotel itself (for a fee) is not bad, but we ate at the Eroy Dee restaurant right around the corner, then at the Festival on the 0th floor (for 300 rubles we ate together), and then we tired and we ate noodles with the Thais right on the street. Russians were amazed, ordering borscht and stuffed with Leys chips - people, you came to where incredible food, incredible fruits, everything is cheap, and you eat a fur coat or Russian salad in the old fashioned way! UzhOs))) We even ate seaweed chips - super! For the whole holiday, not an ounce of anything hinting at ours. Chang beer is good, wonderful mangosteen wine (like the mangosteen itself - it is considered the most delicious fruit on the planet), good rum.
Russian-Chinese hotel. The hatred of Russians for other nations was very striking. People, and you want us to be loved as tourists all over the world after this? ! Once we witnessed how the Russians, already elderly husband and wife, smoking and drinking by the pool, for no reason began to yell at the Chinese, they say they are talking loudly in the pool. The Chinese were shocked! I could not stand it and asked my husband to swim up to apologize for the "compatriots" - as a result, we met the Chinese and they were very nice and friendly with us. I had to remember more than once about the cattle-Russo-tourist: one vomited on the deck of the boat when they returned from the island of Koh Lan, the other swung at the Thai on the beach, because he does not know the Russian "give-bring" (nothing that the Russo-cattle does not know elementary English "giw me to beers"?! )
But Pattaya is still 90% Russian, if you do not like our tourists - you are not here. The city itself is noisy, always rushing, in lights, mixed smells of food, sweat and the sea . . The city lives mainly at night. A girl is not afraid to go out at night, but a man . . )) At the bars along all the roads, "girls" sit and offer to have some fun for single men. so wives, watch out - Thais are very beautiful, young, with clean skin and straight shiny hair. We love the city! Exactly what you need for outdoor activities for young people who are thirsty for extreme, adventure and exotic people.
Prices. I will name just a couple of examples and you will understand everything. Denim shorts with guipure - 100 rubles (1500 in Moscow), a leather bag - 1200 rubles (5000 in Moscow), the average bill in a restaurant for two with a drink - 600 rubles (Moscow time - 2000). Fresh cocktail of kiwi, papaya, mango and pineapple - 40 rubles (Msk - 300). Fruit up to 100 rubles per kilogram for any kind. Pork skewers on the street - 10 rubles, soup on the street (super tasty) - 30 rubles. And be sure to try the locusts, larvae and frogs - very tasty, no gag reflex. We kindly ask you not to go to "latex factories" on excursions - this is a lure from guides, the pillow itself costs three times cheaper in any Pattaya store. By the way, I bought myself at the Festival and am very pleased.
Were on Kwai and in Bangkok, as well as in the garden of Nong Nooch. I liked everything, we recommend everything. They themselves went to the Temple of Truth in Pattaya, to the observation platform, and to the observation tower, where they descended from the 54th floor. on a garter - super! They also took a motorcycle taxi to the sea market - they gathered crabs, shrimp and snails there and ate, washing down with mangosteen wine - by the way, this is how we ate by the pool in the evenings - you can’t swim after 7, but it’s not forbidden to dine with everyone in the gazebos.
In general, we are the first time in Thailand + we are sooo picky, and this vacation was just perfect in everything! Yes, there are those for whom the step in the pool is crooked, and those for whom the ants interfere (by the way, do not leave the fruit in the room on the table - there will be no ants, it all depends on you), and those for whom the hotel bottle not updated by the staff gel - the tragedy of the century, and those who take pictures of cracks in the floor or stains on the windows. But this is not about us. Everything was incredibly cool with us, from start to finish, and the Caesar Hotel played an important role in this, because whatever one may say, you spend a considerable proportion of your time in it: you sleep, wash, get ready, eat, swim in the pool.
P/S
When people were taken on excursions from different hotels, we looked closely and asked how they were resting. And we realized that compared to them we were in paradise. When we arrive in Pattaya, we will only arrive in Caesar - why risk it ? ! There are not so many good tresheks in the city! And he is one of them.
To begin with, I would like to warn the guests of Thailand against annoying mistakes and give a couple of tips.
The most important thing in Thailand, of course, is not to sleep with a transvestite. Do not believe the proverb: once is a pid ...s. And the presence of boobs, miniskirts and cosmetics on the face does not make a man a woman. Find a way to reject transvestites. They do not understand the words “No, why are you guys! "and annoyingly pester the tourists of the stronger sex. If you do not have a wife, then in Pattaya you will find very beautiful Thai women at low prices. Just before intercourse, be sure to make sure that these taeks do not have members. Choose your partner strictly BEFORE you get drunk, not after.
Don't miss the last ferry or boat to Pattaya from Koh Lan in the evening. If you are late, you will be charged 3.000 baht for the return trip.
An alternative to this is to stay at a hotel on the island for 1.000 baht.
Before ordering food, say “No spicy” to the waiter or seller in broken English. Otherwise, a dish of volcanic lava will be prepared for you, after which you will breathe fire, and the next morning the fire will continue to emanate from you, but from the other side.
Near the hotel there is a cafe "Aroy Dee". There is wi-fi. When ordering, you will be given a password. The password does not change for about a week, so in the future you can walk around the cafe and catch a freebie, go to the cafe and eat / drink optional.
In front of the hotel, 2 Thais on the street prepare excellent first and second courses. Both cost 30 baht. The food is delicious and fresh. But it's best to go to the lower floor of the "Festival" - a huge shopping center not far from the hotel: there is the widest assortment and ridiculous prices. You can also stock up on local food in the markets.
Do not drink local vodka - it is made from a mixture of elephant and crocodile shit, but if you stumble upon local moonshine, feel free to take it for your entire vacation at the rate of 250 grams per person per day.
When negotiating with taxi drivers, always loudly and clearly stipulate the amount and route. Thais are positive people, but they will not miss the chance to prick a foreigner. By the way, the people of Thailand sincerely consider all whites to be impenetrable stupids, into whose pockets Buddha stuffed a lot of money for fun.
Buy a couple of bags in Pattaya, fill them with purchased clothes and take it all to Russia. Not to buy cheap clothes in Thailand is a sin.
And now about the hotel. The hotel has wi-fi, but it costs sky-high for Thailand 1800 baht per day or 60 baht for 15 minutes. It is clear that the money is insignificant, but do not indulge the arrogance of the hotelier.
The breakfast at the hotel is decent. Let every day on the buffet the same thing.
But who forbids a hangover morning brain to come up with new gastronomic combinations.
You cannot swim in the pool after 19:00. The administration will come out of their skin, but they will charge you a fine of 5000 baht for this. And besides, you bathe in the chemicals that treat the water.
You can sit on the territory of the hotel with your own food and drinks. You can also steal soap from hotel rooms.
The lexicon of the hotel staff is like Ellochka the cannibal. We are talking about vocabulary in both Russian and English. However, they think well, so develop imaginative thinking and practice pantomime.
And finally, a separate appeal to Russian tourists. Friends, remember that you were born in the same country as Pushkin, Tchaikovsky, Tolstoy, Solzhenitsyn, Sakharov. But for the Thais, you are a drunken, yelling, swearing, vomiting, fighting, pissing cattle on the fence.
Please behave yourself so that the rest will not be ashamed of their belonging to the Russian people.
Caesar Palace is a great hotel, but don't sit there all day: you're in an amazing country, so explore the area all day long. Relax in traffic jams and in offices.
