My opinion is this: Botany is still located before Satahip and the water in the sea there is as dirty as, for example, on Jomtien. So the beach is gone. The kitchen is all in the city, but far from Botany. There is no entertainment in the hotel, except to sit by the pool, and this can be done in any hotel near the city. On excursions to go all the same from which hotel. That's why I think it's better to live closer to transportation and food. And if you need a beach holiday, then this is definitely not Pattaya. If you need a mixed vacation, then it's some time in Pattaya in a forehead hotel closer to the sights, and then relax on some island in a good hotel, for example, on Koh Chang.
