Upon arrival at the hotel, a deposit of 500 baht is charged, which is approximately equal to 500 rubles. The rooms have free Wi-Fi (login and password is your room number), a safe with a combination lock (the code must be entered each time), a hairdryer, we did not have a mini bar in our room. You will be given 1-2 (depending on the number of people in the room) bottles of water in a glass bottle every day for free, do not throw away empty bottles, leave them exchanged for full ones, otherwise you will have to pay for them. The hotel has a small but clean swimming pool, next to the pool there is a free gym (there are few exercise machines), and a steam room where you can take a good steam bath. The hotel staff is polite but lazy, the so-called visible cleaning is carried out in the rooms, which consists in cleaning visible debris))). The breakfasts at the hotel are quite good, there are several types of meat, soups, cakes, if desired, they can fry an omelet or scrambled eggs. The only significant minus of this hotel is that it is constantly massively lodged by INDUS (Turkeys) who are very ill-mannered, sloppy comrades (you will see, you will understand). In general, we were in Thailand 4 times and we liked this hotel....

I was in Thailand at the beginning of April. Good hotel. Pulls on 4 *. Meals - breakfast (good). Meals - breakfast (good). It let us down that I had heard enough enthusiastic folk stories about the fabulous country of 1000 smiles - Thailand. There are few smiles, people are on the handbrake. It's dirty in Pattaya. On the street of the city it stinks of garbage (naturally), but after two days you don’t notice it anymore. Pattaya's sewage drains directly into the Gulf of Thailand (and that's what I didn't like the most). Friends lived on the Ambassador, they said that the sea is cleaner there (but farther from the center). I myself am not squeamish, but I didn’t swim on the city beach (and I don’t advise it). I went to swim on the island of Koh Lan. You can get to the island by ferry (30 baht) or by boat (300 baht). Because of the ferry, there is a great attachment to the beach. In fact, you need to sunbathe before 12.00 and after 16.00. But it turns out that you come to the island by 10.00 and sit until 16.00. There are several beaches on Koh Lan. Beautiful Thien beach. Sunbeds (30.50, 100 baht) stand under bushes, white sand, but at low tide the sea recedes so that the buoys lie on the sand (on other beaches it’s about the same), and there is darkness behind the buoys of sea urchins. A lot of people perekolilos. Well, at least the hedgehogs are not as poisonous as those in the Red Sea. It is better to swim in special shoes. Sunbathing in a T-shirt with a long sleeve (in all seriousness). You really need to be careful (especially women) when you rent something. Look at everything. Cut through every scratch. In case of disputes, the locals call the police (I accidentally saw how the prisoners were being transported, a nightmare), and those (the police) begin to defend the rights of the locals, but don’t be shy: you don’t have to be rude, but also stand on your own, otherwise they will be “divorced”. The local food is spicy, although generally normal. For fun, I went to one local canteen (not pretty in appearance) where the Thais ate. It was delicious, cheap, and even some kind of tea was brewed (there is a “problem” with tea and bread). The hostess is cheerful and friendly: neither in Russian nor in English (well, I'm no worse - neither really in English, nor in Thai). But they fed. Communicated through her daughter and signs. Took excursions to the river Kwai, Cambodia, Bangkok. Went to the Alcazar show. The nature on the river Kvai somehow reminded the nature of Bashkiria on the river Ufimka. At the waterfall (level #5) it was good. I actually liked the waterfalls. . The water is cool and the fish swim (while you are standing still, they "process" you). . Very pleasant and good memories left trips to Cambodia and Bangkok + Oceanarium. In Bangkok, we went to dinner at the Byuk Sky skyscraper. There was a good restaurant and looked at the city from above. Oceanarium - just loved it. Especially the glass pipe. Watch as the shark swims above you. . . It's mesmerizing. I took all the excursions on the street from the Thaityr company. ru. From the tour operator Pegasus (as they say - it's just a noodleshow) I do not advise you to take it, since the overpayment is from 1/3 and above the average cost. And so overpay (do not take VIP - wiring). Attention for those who travel alone on excursions: if he does not have enough roommate, then the surcharge for the room will be 500 baht. In general, holidays in Thailand are designed for companies that will hang out in bars, cafes and restaurants. This is probably right, because through the prism of glass - not everything is so sad, but if it's the first time abroad, then everything is just wonderful. Prices for goods are about the same as in Russia. In the markets, things can only be measured once, and that's it. Next, almost with a scandal. Sellers touchy to obscene. On the shelves there are signs in Russian "do not touch with your hands. " Moreover, the Thais themselves peretykayut everything before taking anything. It is best to buy things in supermarkets such as Big C, Tesco Lotus, Festival. At least hang in there. But even there the sellers look askance - but are silent. Attitude towards Russians is average and below. In general, it must be clearly understood that Thailand is for Thais, and locals (and guides) look at tourists like a wallet. Although there are normal people there. In drugstores, shops - the benevolent relation. And one more thing: Russians support each other abroad. Let's go on an excursion, look after each other and write down the guide's phone number. There were cases when someone lagged behind the group (were lost). There was a trick on the part of the tour operator's guide. I flew to Pattaya to the local airfield - Utopau, and they wrote me a flight from Bangkok. Moreover, those people with whom I arrived were recorded on Utopau. From Bangkok, the plane flew during the day, and from Utopau - at night. Just in case, he packed his bag and went to bed. At night, the phone rang and they told me on the phone that a bus to the airport was waiting for me. 5 minutes to get ready and I'm already on the bus. I think that this was not accidental, since I took excursions on the street, and not from a guide. This thought leads me to the fact that with my last name on the flight from Bangkok was recorded the name of a woman who also did not take the tour guide. So or not, but the case "has a place to be. " I deliberately took Pattaya for recreation, since it was easier for me to go to Cambodia from there. I also had to take a tour of the Golden Triangle. Thanks Max for a great experience. What I went - I do not regret. Pataya is a dynamic city, but the state of the sea and the attitude of the local population didn’t appeal to me. Although some people like it. And these people go there all the time. They're probably fine there. Some go to Thai in Phuket. There, the rest is more beach (which I don’t really like), the sea (they say) is clean, the sand is good, you can go to the islands, feed the monkeys, ride elephants, there are excursions to temples. I will say this about my trip: I knew what I was going for, what I wanted, and then I got it - it was interesting. What else: when you go to the islands, then take a drink in the city - everything is more expensive on the islands (since everything is imported).

Breakfast is also normal. In general, I liked the hotel.

Linen was changed only after the scandal a week later. There is often no water in the cooler on the floor and no one cares. You run around looking for water. The windscreen of the balcony opens with a very great effort (it is not possible for a woman to open it). There are simply no videos! The pool is small and the hotel is noisy. The restaurant is good but lacks variety. At the reception they only understand English (there are no Russian representatives). Gym one name, several treadmills. In general, the hotel is bad……………. requires renovation.

I don’t understand when they write about breakfast - it’s monotonous, but at home? In short, more positive, like you to the staff and they are mutual.

When we were fully accustomed, we already walked from the hotel and along Sukhumvit))). Well, in order. Indeed, check-in at 14-00 is very inconvenient, we arrived at the hotel at 7 in the morning and imagine how much we had to wander around the city initially. The hotel is absolutely normal, you are there almost only at night. Silence in the courtyard, the sound of water by the pool, where we rarely swam. The breakfasts are good. Everyone writes that everything is so monotonous, gentlemen, but at home the chef cooks for you or something ?? ? You can eat quite tasty and dense, everything is there for dinner, plus more meat and kebabs, dinner costs 180 baht, not cheap. Later we got used to it so much that we ate for 100 baht for two. The hotel is clean and so are the rooms. At the reception, only "breakfast and towels" are spoken in Russian, the hotel guide Ali said that he taught them this. Ali is really tired, let him go on vacation. Like all guides, if he didn’t give you a tour, he doesn’t show any interest in you anymore, but we didn’t need this, we ourselves wandered and traveled everywhere. Generally compared to other triplets, Bella is not a cheap hotel, but this is for the location in the center. Now a little about the shops, such a advertised store as Lukdot, all souvenirs are more expensive, don’t buy anything there, there is a local Thai shop, on the north street, not reaching Sukhumvit (if you go up the north street on the right side, you definitely won’t pass it ) everything is more expensive there, plus do not forget to bargain, and in Lukdota figs who will throw you off. It was funny to see how our tour operators bring tourists there in huge buses (this is included in the free sightseeing tour) and everyone with baskets picks up this junk. In general, good shopping in Pattaya is not at all cheap, only children's summer things can be bought cheaply in Big C (I liked it), and everything that is on adults is obvious junk and consumer goods. In glamorous shopping centers, prices are the same as in Russia. In general, do not be lazy anymore to go everywhere yourself, everything is known in comparison. If you go to the river Kveei, then in the pharmacy, which is also widely advertised, prices are also bent well by 3 times, in the same place, in Pattaya, on North Street, a Thai store, everything is cheaper at times, and Noni juice, all sorts of ointments and fees. Conclusion - live in the city center and you can walk to everything on foot, do not rush to buy anything, leave it for the last 2 days. Good luck to everyone to relax.

My first impression of the hotel - shock surprise: "Where did we get? In the photographs, he looked much better! ". But, fortunately, everything was not so bad.
But let's start with the check-in: we arrived at about 10:00, and they check into the rooms only from 14:00. What to do? While sitting with a lost look and "scratching turnips" they brought us cold juice (already good). Then an insight came, they approached the attendants and asked them to put our things in the storage room, which they quickly did, while giving us a receipt. And we calmly poisoned ourselves to study the surroundings. And around 14:00 we safely settled in the room. And one more important nuance - they take a deposit of 500 baht per room for the entire period of rest, they return it upon departure, but you just need to keep the receipt that is handed to the reception.
When you check in, so that there are no problems when you leave, check everything in the room (working light bulbs, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, etc. ). I was especially surprised by the hair dryer - the cord from it is bolted to the table with staples, it must be assumed that it is not stolen.
We had a standard room, and this was our big mistake, we must take a superior! There are no balconies in the standards and the windows overlook the backyard, with a WONDERFUL view from the window. But I drew the curtains, and decided not to pay attention to it.
The room has everything you need for life, and even an electronic safe. There are tea pairs, but the water is in the cooler in the hallway. It is one per floor, so it ended very quickly, but do not forget that the hotel has five floors...
The hotel is not new at all, and during the time that has elapsed since the last renovation, I managed to cover everything. Everything is shabby, corridor, elevators, rooms. As we learned later from one of the Thais, this is one of the very first hotels in Pattaya and it used to be called "Little Duck".
The territory is small, the pool too, but it is there and, if desired, you can swim.
There are a lot of Indians in the hotel. Once we returned from an excursion, and the entire lobby was packed with Indians, 35 people stopped by, if not more. But they didn't bother us.
The audibility inside the hotel is amazing, you can hear everything that is done in the corridor and partly in the neighboring rooms. But this is the problem with most hotels in Thailand.
There is internet, it costs 10 baht min, and their keyboard is funny, the font is English or Thai. You can type in Russian, but the letters must be typed from memory. It was fun.
There is also free wi-fi, but we didn't have a laptop with us.
The staff does not speak Russian.

But! ! ! ! The hotel has undeniable advantages:
1) - breakfasts, they are very edible and satisfying. There have always been seafood (as it turned out, from a conversation with tourists from other hotels, seafood is far from everywhere). Of the fruits were pineapples and watermelons, always in sufficient quantities.
I won’t say for dinner, so I never went (although they were going to). We always ate in the city, in different places. But we especially liked the Shabushi restaurant on the 6th floor of the Central Festival - pay 290 baht and for 1 hour 15 minutes you can eat everything that is presented there, it is especially funny that there is an individual saucepan with boiling water on the table, and raw food is moving along the moving belt. And you cook whatever you want. This time is enough to eat from the belly.
2) - the location of the hotel.
It is located on Central Street, but in the courtyard, so you don't hear street noise.
- And everything is within walking distance. You can walk almost anywhere. Near supermarket TOPS, Central Festival, Alcazar show. The last time we took a walk on our own in one of their evenings.
I want to somewhat rehabilitate the city beach of Pattaya.
We swam in the sea on the city beach. It is 10 minutes straight from the hotel. The water in the sea, well, no dirtier than ours in Sochi or Anapa.
The sea is deep, the bottom is sandy. Sun loungers are paid 50 baht from the nose, but you can sit on a towel next to it for free, no one drives. (Beach towels at the hotel are issued at the reception, no problem)
Nearby were fenced-off places for boats and, of course, no one swam there.
Of course, we went to the islands of Koh Lan and Koh Samet. It's definitely better there. But! You have to go there. And this is the time. And, this is especially important for Samet, money. And you can walk to the city beach.
3) - There are no animals in the hotel in the form of cockroaches and bedbugs.
4) - Cleaned every day. Towels were also changed daily.
And finally, a few words about the hotel guide Ali. This is not a guide - this is some kind of miracle Yudo. He is either very tired and he needs a vacation, or he is tired of everything to hell. He constantly forgets everything, and what is very sad, does not keep his promises. So be careful with him.
And summing up everything written above: the hotel has more global pluses than minuses. Well, what is shabby, so 3 *
Have a good holiday everyone!
