about local alcohol?
Share your experience, who liked the locals more: rum, whiskey, cognac, beer... Where is it more profitable to buy and how much does it cost? and they say there are different varieties (pictures on the bottle) - which is better?

I liked Sang-Som rum the most, packing 03 and 07 liters, price 98 and 202 baht in Lotus, in 7/11 and FM - more expensive than 115 and 230. Chang beer is not bad, packing 03 and 06, costs 30 and 44 baht at 7/11, it’s cheaper in Lotus, it’s better to take 2 bottles in one package, it will be cheaper. In general, all local beer is not bad, it’s worth a try, but I didn’t like whiskey, I also tried local factory moonshine - ours is far away - horror, but you need to try all. A lot of imported drinks, but I didn’t take them, I didn’t go there for that. You can also try them in our country, but they cost more than local ones.

Beer is different.
1.ARCHA - cheap beer, not very tasty, but drinkable. Weak alcohol. Cost 35 baht per bottle in stores 7/11. In the Ambassador, multiply everything by 1.5.
2. CHANG is my favorite beer. It is light and Classic. The first is low alcohol, the second is strong. A bottle costs 44 baht at 7/11. Bottles are all 640 gr.
3. SINGHA is a heavily advertised beer that tastes like a light chung to me and nothing more. The cost of a bottle at 7/11 is 55 baht.
4. LEO is not a bad beer, my wife loves it. It is not very alcoholic and costs 49 baht for a bottle.
5. Heinegen beer, expensive and not tasty.
Other than that I like their local alcohol. I'm afraid to call it rum or whiskey, because. nothing is written on it except Blended Spyrit. It's called HONG THONG and on 7/11 a 700 gram bottle costs 182 baht. We drink it with cola like whiskey-cola. The packaging is similar to that of RED LABLE. There are also in white packages for 202 baht and black for 250 approximately. But I tried it and didn't like it. HONG THONG only. Try it though, you might like it. Wine from 160 baht a bottle, champagne from 250 baht. Everything is in 7/11 and I named the prices of these stores. Remember that the Ambassador is one and a half times more expensive.

strange - Sang-Rom - opposite the ambassador there is a military shop - there is 0.7 120bt, I did not see it at all in Lotus. In duty free, they took 130 bt as gifts. According to Chang - I support the most delicious beer - of all that I had to taste there. True, I have not seen low-alcohol drinks, 6.5% - there were only.
And the rest of the beer is full ...
Whiskey - I will immediately say an amateur. I didn’t even take their cognac. The pictures on the bottles don't tell you anything until you try it yourself.

Maybe I'm wrong about the name, but for the price I say for sure, in 9/11 a bottle of sang-som (rum) 0.3 l. cost 115 baht, and in the Lotus 98 baht. I don’t know about the Ambassador, I didn’t climb in that direction, it was very far from the Sea Breeze. I bought local moonshine - in the store, I couldn’t drink, I gave drunk comrades to drink. I don't remember what it's called.

Beer is excellent - CHANG and SINGHA, a strong drink - HONG THONG is very well drunk with meat and most importantly, in the morning, alcohol does not cause a headache, even when consumed in large quantities
