You can walk around Bangkok for more than one week and find something new and interesting. In order not to get lost in the city and not to miss an interesting place, you can take a map from the first INFO kiosk that comes across. There are a lot of them, and they have different cards.

This is the route we did on the first day - see fig.

Taxis are often brightly colored here, but the buses stand out the most! If you wish, you can ride a river tram.

Near Khaosan there is a small market where they sell newspapers, as well as lottery tickets.

Along Ratchadamnoem Klang street, where stalls with local fruits, sweets and chestnuts are located, we reached the Democracy Monument. And then to Mahakan Fort. Mahakan Fort, one of only two remaining forts. Even King Rama I ordered the construction of 14 forts and a wall along the city limits, then still small Bangkok.

Opposite the fort is the Buddhist temple Wat Rachanatdaram, which consists of several structures.

The most famous is Metallic Castle or Loha Prasatyu. A very interesting place where there are few tourists, it's cool inside, cats run around. on each floor you can find something interesting. Entry through donations. By the way, on the territory of the temple there is a market for various Buddhist paraphernalia at very low prices.

Then I wandered into some more abandoned temple, on the territory of which there was no one at all.

It seemed to me that Thais are very religious. So many stores with paraphernalia, and temples, we have not seen before.

Walking past these stalls, we saw Giant Swing, a giant swing that is located opposite Wat Suthat. The temple itself is very beautiful, I especially remember just the huge Buddha in the main chapel, and the murals on the walls, which tell about the reincarnation of the Buddha!

Next, we visited the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), but more on that later.

After the temple, we walked to the pier, where we boarded the crossing on the other side of the river. The crossing cost 3 baht.

On the other side was Wat Arun, with its incredibly large stupas. Entrance cost 50 baht.

I no longer had the strength to climb the next stupa, and I just sat down in a cafe and watched the world around me...

The next day we wanted something different. We are tired of temples and a huge number of Buddhas. At first they planned to see the market on the water, but that day it did not work. Then we decided to see the famous Baiyoke Sky with our own eyes.

While my friends climbed to the observation deck for 300 Baht, which is located on the 84th floor, I was finally able to be alone with myself - in the lobby on the 18th floor.

I don’t feel much trepidation before such viewing platforms. The most relish in them - night views! But the presence of glasses spoils the photo!

There are various chambers of commerce near Baiyoke Sky, where you can buy a Chinese iPhone for $300, or a dress a la “for a summer residence”.

Here it is, Bangkok ...Bright in the evening, hot during the day.

I can't say that I'm overjoyed with him. I can't say that I didn't like it either. Bangkok is different, there is a lot not seen in it. I think it's worth seeing it again.
