The hotel is conveniently located in the popular Pratunam area. It was founded in 1977, last renovated in 2010. It is one 13-storey building. It offers well-comfortable rooms, a large outdoor pool and a 24-hour restaurant. You can also work out at the fitness center, unwind with a massage, or book excursions to local attractions. The on-site restaurant serves a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes.More →

Our first impression of Bangkok was spoiled by this hotel, we were greeted badly at the reception, they gave us a piece of paper saying that we owe another 1000 baht for a mini bar that we don’t need, we had dollars with us and we offered them, for which they told us $ 100, although at the rate of more than 40 I didn’t expect that it was very helpful, since it was the last 2 days in Thailand and I was going to shop for money (((Further, apparently, the administrator and we didn’t really like us they gave us just a terrible number. . . With grief in half, we moved to this room, which was considered better and more expensive - although I didn’t notice much difference: the same moldy curtains in the bathroom, a view of some barracks from the window, in the evening we also found two bugs in the bed. . . I couldn't sleep - it was too noisy. There is a swimming pool, but given its size and more than 600 rooms in the hotel, we did not want to swim in this water. . . But next to the hotel there are many massage parlors with normal prices - 200 baht / hour, although we were told that we were the first Russians in 2 months, so only Indians. . Well, as a matter of fact, it was, I didn’t meet Russians in the hotel for 2 days. We went to eat in Central World, and shop there, there was an excellent new hotel near it, I don’t know how it is with prices, but I would rather stay there. In general, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They lived in it for only two days, or rather from 20.00 on February 18.2012 to 2.00 on February 19.2012. And, during these 30 hours at the hotel, they managed to rob us. This was done at the moment when we were on an excursion included in the ticket.
Having hung the sign “can be cleaned” on the front door of room 1070, handing over the keys to the reception, we went on an excursion. Returning to the hotel at 20.00, they made sure that the room was really cleaned, and all the things that were not put under lock and key in the suitcases were also removed. Namely: a backpack with things, a handbag with expensive cosmetics and even fruits brought from Malaysia. It’s good that the passport, tickets and money were handed over to the safe, otherwise it would be a “chilling story”.
There was no response to our statements to the hotel administration. Only two hours before departure, some hotel pepper appeared with a guide Murat, having carefully searched the room, said that the receptionists had been interviewed, they didn’t know anything, and we probably didn’t have these things. There was no time to report to the police, and there was no point...
There was only an unpleasant aftertaste at the end of a wonderful journey.

The most important and, perhaps, the only advantage of this hotel is its location - right in the center, you can either walk to most shopping centers or take a taxi for a purely symbolic price. otherwise, the hotel becomes the first obstacle to conquering the city of angels.
all the problems started with Sayama's hotel guide named Daler - it's hard not to remember the young man, his false eyelashes seem very seductive. no help with check-in, no information about the city, no business card of the hotel (I had to explain everything to the taxi driver on my fingers at night). in general, horror.
number - it can be much worse. everything is clean and tidy. the staff is also polite. The furniture is shabby but intact. the nightmare began at 3 am, when the Arabs settled in the next room and yelled for two hours. There is no sound insulation, it seems that the neighbors are right above your ear.
at breakfast, you need to act quickly, swiftly and decisively. there is nowhere to sit, there may be nothing to eat either. in general, the majority of guests are Japanese and Arabs.
I do not want to repeat such an experience, but it can still be much worse.

Hotel "savdepovsky" some. The furniture is retro, the bed creaks, the TV set is almost a tube one, plumbing is from the 80s, a “remote control” from the same 80s is mounted in the bedside table, a safe for documents at the reception, a laptop (! ) And we were carefully advised not to leave phones in room, but they categorically refused to take it for storage. … More ▾ Hotel "savdepovsky" some. Soundproofing is a separate painful topic. There is no balcony.
From the pros - floor-to-ceiling windows, awesome views of the city from high floors. Normal breakfast (monotonous, but tasty). There is a swimming pool, gym.
The hotel is suitable for business travelers.

The hotel is basic like most 3 star hotels. Unless there is a road junction under the windows and passing traffic is clearly audible. Also in the room was a rather old TV with a semi-working remote control. But it was not very important for us, because. We spent the whole day on excursions and came only to spend the night.
The only thing that spoiled the impression about this hotel was the story that happened to us upon departure.
At the reception, they told me that we drank water from the minibar and we had to pay. I never even open minibars in hotels, and even more so there was free water in the room.
After I explained that I did not touch paid water, I came
boy and brought a small bottle of water on which the seal was half torn. Those. a defective bottle on the face, because I don't even know how to break a filling in half.
At the reception flatly refused to understand that I did not touch this bottle and asked to pay.
And it’s not clear where they brought this bottle from - the dude just came up and brought it.
Even if she really was in the minibar - I most likely would not have proved that I did not touch her. Because when we checked in, no one saw us off, as is done in most hotels, they just gave us the key and that's it. If I found this in the room and called the staff, they would most likely say that it was I who had just broken the seal.
So I didn’t argue with them for a long time, because the car was waiting for us at the airport and they didn’t give back my $100 deposit.
(Now it’s clear why such a large amount should be left at check-in)
I paid them $1 for water, explained that it was a very bad way to make money and left.
One dollar is not the amount that is worth wasting time and nerves. But the way they lured him out left negative memories of this hotel. It would be better if they just asked for tea.
So be careful. It might happen as well.

In the hotel, not only tourists, but also locals settle, business travelers and men for one night to have fun with women of the ancient profession. When you lie in bed, you think about how many taeks you had on this bed. In short, the hotel is not for clean people. Audibility in the rooms is high. Everything the neighbors do is understandable. There is a pool but no one swims there. One good thing is the location. Nearby are a lot of shopping centers, cafes and the famous Baiyoke Sky restaurant. In general, the city of Bangkok is not for recreation. It is enough for general education to spend one day there for a sightseeing tour. A megapole with a lot of cars, traffic jams and people is annoying.

We will be in BKK all day. We're going for the first time. The plan is to get up at 7-00. Taxi to the Royal Palace and the emerald and reclining Buddha. Ferry to Wat Arun, sightseeing, back to the embankment, by boat to Chinatown, Temple of the Golden Buddha, lunch. Taxi to the hotel, rest-2 hours, taxi to Platinum mall, dinner there, shopping, walking to Baiyoke sky-market-shopping. Sleep. Aquarium and observation deck in Baiyoke is cancelled. We went up to the Burj Khalifa-124 floor, comparisons are not appropriate, in the same place in Dubai we were in an aquarium. Help, experts, please.

We will be in BKK one full day. We want to visit the historical part of the city + shopping. We are very afraid of losing time in traffic jams. When is the peak time for congestion?
