The hotel certainly deserves the attention of travelers who want to combine accommodation in a first-class hotel with shopping opportunities. It is conveniently located in the very center of the business part of Bangkok, where it is easy to encounter the numerous temptations of the big city, where the famous Bobe and Pratunam markets are located nearby, and you can easily meet a variety of shops and shops along your way that promise bargains. Convenient access to the expressway system, leading both to the airport and to other areas, will greatly simplify the movement around the city. The hotel overlooks the Mahanak Canal.More →

The view of the city is excellent, only the location itself is not good, at the bottom of the Chinese clothing market, it works from morning to night, in the silence you can hear how the tents are dismantled and then put back. There is nowhere to walk around the hotel, but the old town is not far away. The hotel itself is chic, clean spacious rooms, safe in the room, cleaned every day. … More ▾ The view of the city is excellent, only the location itself is not good, at the bottom of the Chinese clothing market, it works from morning to night, in the silence you can hear how the tents are dismantled and then put back. Staff: boorish. They can't even put on a smile. We snickered because of the constant flow of tourists. Everyone is busy. Rooms: old furniture, Soviet TV, spit on windows, clogged sink. We washed our hands over the toilet from the bottle. In the boxes of garbage from previous tourists. And the most disgusting - Bedbugs !!! ! If they like your blood, then in the morning you will be all bitten from head to toe. So if you decide to spend the night in this hotel, then sleep in clothes and in the light. They say that the bugs do not bite. There is an unpleasant smell in the refrigerator. I didn't dare to go into the bathroom.
Territory: you live right on the market. The territory is huge. At first glance, everything is expensive, but when you look closely - everything is junk. At breakfast, I went through a dozen plates to find a clean one.
I want to say that before that I stayed in hotels of different classes. And he lived quietly in twos. But I didn't see that. Disgusting impression. The hotel has rescheduled the entire holiday. I do not advise anyone.

We flew from Phuket to Bangkok, used it as temporary accommodation for 1.5 days. If I had lived in Bangkok before flying to Phuket, then I would have liked everything, but not vice versa. After palm trees, white sand, sun, sea, smiling faces, we arrived in Bangkok... with the impression that we got to the huge Chirkizovsky market, among which hotels were poked.
The hotel itself seems to be quite good, but after a holiday in Phuket, it all loaded a little.
Settled in a non-smoking room on the 28th floor in room 2808. View of the pool (downstairs on the 11th floor), the view from the window is not bad, the room itself is decent, in terms of interior it is designed just for the capital. I will say right away that the furniture is far from new, the corners, the backs of the chairs are not that scratched, the impression that they were squeezed with a planer. I'm not picky, I'm not very upset, I just smiled a little))) But I know that repairs are underway.
The style of the room is not to my taste (well, you won’t please everyone), but it’s clean and there are no extraneous smells! The breakfasts are good, I was pleased with the outdoor pool on the 11th floor overlooking the skyscrapers, live music plays in the lobby in the evening, using a computer without Internet is free. By the way, DO NOT throw away glass bottles containing free water, they will be asked to pay for them. And one more thing: upon check-in, they take a deposit of $ 50 per person, upon deportation, the entire amount was returned without any problems (even with the same banknotes). Nice view from the reception balcony. DISAPPOINTED dry ration (checked out at 2 am, asked for breakfast to go), so they gave half a sandwich with cheese, a croissant, a glass of water and ONE and a half pineapple slices and EVERYTHING!! ! (((In Crimea they gave a full package (at the expense of lunchboxes, of course) of food. The staff is good, but can not be compared with Phuket, besides 4 *.
So the hotel is very nice, and even better not to leave it or step exclusively on guided tours. We refused and decided, as in Phuket, to travel around everything ourselves and see - we wasted a day (they have a service there at a certain time, they don’t let anyone in), we spent time persuading a divorce from the taxi driver, we walked a lot and saw those clean streets along which tourists are led, namely their life....the sensations are far from pleasant, especially when I remember the fetid smells of the streets... And so everything is super !!!! !

To begin with, we were initially asked if we wanted a smoking or non-smoking room. Since my husband and I do not smoke, we asked for non-smokers. We went into the room on the 29th floor - and it was impossible to breathe, not only was there a heavy cigarette smell, but also the windows did not open. We asked to be replaced, they first unlocked, they say we gave you a non-smoking room, they offered to spray it with a spray. … More ▾ To begin with, we were initially asked if we wanted a smoking or non-smoking room. We asked to be replaced, they first unlocked, they say we gave you a non-smoking room, they offered to spray it with a spray. but then they came, checked and changed without talking. I did not like the hotel, this noise in the morning from the market, which is located right at the exit, and such cheap things, such unpleasant people - it was terrible. There is heavy air in the corridor on all floors, because it is never ventilated. For security reasons, the windows do not open, the communication in the room does not catch. Because of this, it is impossible to sleep, stuffy, hard, in general, 2 nights were tormented. The only positive is the breakfast, quite varied. These were the final days of our magical stay in Thailand, which spoiled our mood, we wanted to leave Bangkok as soon as possible. It’s normal as a transit point - but for a maximum of 1 day and it’s not worth that kind of money (for a room a little more than 100 dollars. USA), but most likely Bangkok is everywhere.

The hotel seems to be located not far from the center, but somehow it is inconvenient - you can’t get there on foot, there is no metro nearby. Below it is a wholesale market for cheap things (like the first floors of the hotel). The rooms are spacious, the furniture is obviously not new, there are no Russian channels, stuffy (maybe due to the fact that the high floor and the windows did not open, and the air conditioner drove the internal air), the staff is unpleasant (they pestered us because of the sheet slightly smeared with brilliant green), breakfasts are poor. … More ▾ The hotel seems to be located not far from the center, but somehow it is inconvenient - you can’t get there on foot, there is no metro nearby. This second pool is for EVERYONE! Only they don’t tell everyone. It is located on the twelfth floor, the entrance is through D. The hotel itself is huge, good. Not old, well-maintained. Shop 7.11 is literally around the corner, and from the hotel by taxi (the meter will be cheaper, even if you don't know English, poke your finger on the meter) just 10 minutes to the night market.

Well, what can I tell you? We are a family (me, my mother and my mother's husband), went to rest in Thailand. The hotel in Pattaya is super, on the ostava - too, but Bangkok...
Well, let's start with the fact that this building is about 26 floors. The first floors 10-15 are the wholesale market ! ! The food there was disgusting . . that is, we took breakfast and it was terrible. , everything works, BUT THE MOST TERRIBLE: there were PRUSAKI ! ! that is, on our 25th floor, we saw not even one, but several!! ! I was in complete shock.
And now I'll tell you why we were there for an extra day.
We left on time, arrived at the airport, went through registration and before we got to the plane, before the hour of delay, we looked - the crew was leaving! us literally for the evening-night-day in some hotel. Well, what can I tell you . . HE'S JUST SUPER! ! We didn't expect! The rooms are brilliant! everything is absolutely new, beautiful, furniture . . equipment . . plumbing . . like, I repeat, like the name Mercure Accor 3 *, I’m watching it in parallel, now boot up, I’ll see if it is or not it . . no, unfortunately no . . Well, the name is very similar. Well, that's all in principle. In general, I really do not advise you to go to this Prince Palace

In our building, apparently "C", which is located across the pool on the 11th floor, everything was normal. we did not see mustaches, the number is quite decent. Yes, I agree the furniture is not modern, but very spacious. Particularly pleased with the porter at the door. Always open and bow. Breakfast is ok too. I think most people prefer scrambled eggs or porridge in the morning. Therefore, a special fancy breakfast was not expected. There was even such a case, on the 11th floor, due to their own oversight, they left a handbag with money, and with passports, in a cafe, after 20 minutes they remembered. they came, thinking that they would have to spend the rest of the century in Thailand, and she lies to herself calmly, with all our lives (passports, money. It gave us adrenaline in general. And the fact that the bazaars, yes, they really are almost everywhere. This is a city of contrasts. Contrast in everything. You see a business center in the distance, and next to it is a shack with hanging sheets. This is the charm of the city. We plan to visit this fabulous paradise again in a week, all the same, in order not to risk choosing this hotel again, but I understood from the reviews that without cockroaches, then the same building -C "!

The food is very pleased, European and Asian dishes, a lot of fruit.
Room 1907, pool view, almost new furniture, linen and towels changed every day. For a 20 baht tip, even the swans were twisted...
There were cockroaches, yes. But not in packs, but so, small, lonely individuals.
I recommend visiting Bangkok at the beginning of the trip, otherwise after the sea you don’t really want to walk along the “burial grounds”.
In Bangkok, it is worth visiting Baiyoke Sky and the Royal Palace. Regarding Bayok Sky: tickets are bought in front of the hotel entrance on the left, they go up on the first elevator, you get to some floor and everyone thinks that everyone... in fact, you need to go forward, all the way, and on the right it is so inconspicuous elevator, here you go up to the top floor, there is a restaurant, and up the stairs 2 floors up, here you go! And after watching, go back to the elevator, give your ticket to the bartender and get a cocktail! )
According to the Royal Palace: If they say that today is the day of the Buddha, or you are dressed inappropriately, or he works from 14.00, do not believe it! It works daily, from 8.00, and even if you are in a swimsuit, they rent clothes there.
