And again, I really want to share the incredible emotions from the next trip. It took place in October, but only now I have found time to talk about what places I managed to visit thanks to the rather well-known travel company "Odyssey". Guys, thank you very much for your work. I, as a tourist with experience, belong only to you. And as soon as I get over the fear of airplanes, I will make a foreign passport, and I will come running, I found out that you have opened a department for booking foreign tours! You are simply "crazy"! Love you.
But let's get back to the journey itself, the discovery of new places and the very emotions that I really want to share.
I'll probably start, as is customary, from the very beginning.
As I already wrote in other reviews, the bus was beautiful, warm, does not get sick (although I have such a problem). Drivers are highly professional. Quickly and efficiently, they not only brought and returned home, but also skated perfectly during the excursions. Thank you guys.
We left Rostov-on-Don at about 8 pm, while it took about 2 hours to collect all the "passing" participants of the tour, but nevertheless we arrived at the hotel at about 4 am. Fast, nothing to say. Already at the entrance to Dombay, the surrounding beauty began to take your breath away, there was a forest around, and mountains stand out against the background of a slightly brightening sky. Perhaps my emotions are exaggerated, because I first got into the mountains, but just try to go there, I think you will understand me...
The hotel is certainly not the most luxurious, but what was around more than paid for the living conditions. (Now I am writing, and memories are flooding with a new wave of emotions, even though more than a month has passed since the return).

But let's continue, because in addition to contemplating the incredible beauties from the balcony of my room, there was something to see. On the first day we climbed to an altitude of about 3000 meters above sea level. Discharged air is not such a terrible thing as I was told. This makes it even easier to move around in space. Especially if you have well-adapted shoes on your feet, with non-slip soles.

Our travels were not limited to exploring the peaks of such incredibly beautiful mountains, we were a little lower. There, too, simply incredible beauty and pristine nature awaited us, although travelers with tents stop there...
A few photos at once to distract you from the variety of letters))) The last five photos show "Deer Meadow". True, they never explained to me, therefore, she is precisely “Deer”, but the beauty is so amazing that you don’t ask yourself such questions completely. The water in the river is unbelievably clean that we bottled it and took it with us. The taste of water is incomparable. As if the purest snow was melted in the sun and poured into a glass. I have never seen anything like this anywhere else. I sincerely advise you to try it.
But back to the more mundane. Food. Unfortunately, a person has an indestructible habit: to eat. And to eat several times a day... (A nightmare that some "thin-slender women" who care for their figure and every calorie eaten cannot cope with, which is unrealistic in the mountains). National dish "Khychin". There are many many types of them. As I was told that every housewife has her own recipe. Personally, for 3 incomplete days of my stay in Dombay, I tried about 5 types of this Delicacy! And yes, I did not typo, it was with a capital letter. This cannot be described otherwise. How many types of this dish exist, so many enthusiastic epithets I will write. But... For me, the khychin on the 4th stage turned out to be the most delicious, which I tried on the second day of my stay in Dombai. It was with beef, and yoghurt and herb sauces. . . I have never eaten anything tastier. . . Although beef kebab is still delicious, especially in the mountains.
This photo was taken from an angle that is rarely shown to tourists. I was lucky with the tour guide. The lake is called "Tumanly Kol". To be honest, I remembered the name for quite a long time, unlike the translation. I remembered the translation from the first time: "Misty Lake". Natural natural lake, which in a certain time period is covered with evaporation (fog). At any time of the year, a tan rises above the lake in the early hours of the morning (approximately from 5 to 7 in the morning). From a certain angle you can see that the lake is in the shape of a heart. Incredible feeling. It's breathtaking again. . . And in good weather, you can catch people on the shore of the lake who came for a picnic. The shore is equipped with tables with benches and barbecues, and many tourists leave unused coal and lighter fluid near the barbecues. Time flies by in this place. From the river crossing the border zone on the military-Ossetian road to the lake "Tumanly-Kol" you can walk for 25-30 minutes, but the views are so captivating that you don't notice how you stop every few tens of meters to take a picture of the queue "waterfall" ", flowing down from a hill on the right side of the road. And at the end of October, on such waterfalls you can find real icicles, which, like in childhood, are cool to break off and gnaw, unless of course you are afraid to get a sore throat)))
In general, I want to draw one single conclusion. . .
Dombay is worth going there. But you can't see all the sights in one trip. Something you need to watch in the warm season, something you must see on winter days. But I want to say, you just have to see it!
Soet for future tourists. Regardless of where you plan to stay, take a small fan heater with you. At this altitude, it is very difficult to heat hotels, regardless of the level of the hotel.
