Please tell me, in Turkey or Egypt, the norm is to leave a tip in the room, how is it in Greece? the smallest euro banknote is 5 (I think it's a bit too much), but "metal" doesn't seem to be serious?

tipping is essentially a manifestation of gratitude and attention to the service staff, which doesn’t really hit your pocket, so why not?) and someone in your homeland takes all the pennies from the bill for dinner - it’s a matter of principle approach - to leave or not to leave)) )
