We drive from Copenhagen to Berlin. The road takes 6-7 hours, but we planned the whole day for this road, I want to drive a more picturesque road, or maybe stop somewhere in picturesque places. Google shows two roads. One through the Rødby - Puttgarden ferry, and then Lübeck and Hamburg. The second is through the Gedser - Rostock ferry. Almost the same time. How to choose?

But what if you make a small detour on the way back and ride Roskilde. Still, the capital of primordial, pre-Christian, Viking Denmark. It's good there. Viking Museum. You can wear their clothes. (There is a photo of these clothes in the link to the review.) A cathedral with sarcophagi of all Danish and not only kings and queens. In general, the city is small, but beautiful.
