We will rest in Sri Lanka for the first time, please tell me who rested during such a period on the west coast of Sri Lanka, what there is an ocean at this time and how is the weather….. Thanks in advance for the answers)

Hi. In that part of the island where you go to rest, it really is not the season. But until today, there was no rain for 2 weeks and it was very hot, today it rained all night, now it is dry, but cloudy. The ocean is very active, the waves are big. If you keep well on the waves, you will be able to jump on them, but it is a dangerous business. The hotels have a red flag on the shore, which means that swimming in the ocean is prohibited. Calm ocean, until October, near Trincomalle, Nilaveli, Pass ... Farther...
I read that in October the windy season begins and in some hotels it is generally impossible to swim, and in some due to their location everything is fine. I have looked at the RADISSON BLU EL QUSEIR (EX. RADISSON SAS EL QUSEIR) hotel, how is its location? Knowledgeable people, tell me please!

In Egypt, the windy season, as we have autumn - the rainy season. After all, it might not rain. So it is with the winds. May start in November and end in March. The wind season "floats" in this range. In December 2005 there was no wind. And in December 2007 - there was, and in general the Egyptians complained about that cold winter. And how it will be this year is not known. Farther...

May is very hot and humid. The rainy season does not mean that it rains all the time. They are mostly short-term, but at the same time very strong, in a word, downpours. At the same time, it must be taken into account that the rainy season begins at different times in the resorts of Thailand. Somewhere it starts in May, and somewhere it does not end in October. I closed this country for myself after a friend died of yellow fever in terrible agony. TO did not even hint about vaccinations. Recently, Europeans can enter without a certificate, alas. The most dramatic thing is that the couple paid extra, changed the tour after the tragedy in Egypt ... and that's where I found evil rock ((( Be sure to take root Farther...

In general, we all work here in the hydrometeorological center - I think Amir1 will be our director. I am surprised at the patience of a person to answer questions like: “What is the weather like at 16:32 on August 17? People, have a conscience. So much has already been written about the weather that asking is simply bad manners! Farther...

it is worth believing, but most of the rains for March in April are much less. Farther...
Well, or a spider, sklopendra or other unpleasant and biting creatures? And what to do if a snake bites? I read all sorts of horror stories, I saw enough photos of tourists in which a cobra is right on the porch of a bungalow or a cat-sized gecko is hanging right on the door. And the spider with the saucer actually killed :-( Is this really true? If I fly there, will I see all this and can they still bite me? I am terrified, I really want comforting answers that they say this is a case of one in a million :-)

I will say this: not a single self-respecting snake will ever crawl where tourists, hotel staff and cars are not calm and roam. That is, on the territory of Movenpick, the probability of meeting a snake is absolutely close to zero. If you meet - then a rag in the hands of some mischievous child. Scolopendra and a spider are also unlikely - the hotel has already taken care of this (especially, such as Movenpick). There are special services for treating the territory from insects - so that neither ... Farther...
