There is a vacation for 8-10 days in May. The choice fell on Italy. On one's own. Arrival to Venice. Departure is most likely also from Venice, and possibly from Milan (still looking at options). We want to take 4 days to Rome, Venice 2 or 3. What else is worth seeing? Florence, or maybe Turin? How many days per city? I foresee that someone will say that even a month will not be enough for Rome, let alone 4 days. However, I would like to see more. We plan to travel around the country by train. Please help me with the itinerary.

Since your time is limited and there are already 2 cities in mind, I advise you to also see Florence and if you take a flight from Milan, then it. We traveled around Italy in our car, so we had the opportunity to visit Siena, Pisa, Turin and a bunch of other small towns. In such cities, one does not need much time for sightseeing, so we managed to visit 2 cities a day. Farther...

I would recommend you start with Lido di Esola, this is a sandy spit near Venice, a well-known vacation spot for Italians and other nations, continuous resort villages. In a pine forest there is one of the best campsites in Italy, in Lido there is the best water park in Italy - Aqualandia. You can take a boat and ride to Venice or by car for a day. The beaches are sandy. , together with Naples, I would go without children. Rimini is an ordinary resort town. Farther...

I don’t know what cons to find, I’ve been both in the North and in the South ... let’s say in the Cagliari area the beach is so-so, I don’t know how ordinary it is in Rimini (but the water is more beautiful). But if it’s not Poetto Beach, but a ride, then it’s beautiful. I can suggest apartments in beautiful places in Sardinia, write in a personal message - I will contact the owners Farther...

AllOverTheWorld well .. where did you eat? on St. Mark's Square? But what do you want?)) the most central place, it’s like having lunch in a restaurant on Khreshchatyk, and in any other city on the central square, because this is the very one in Venice. Everything is relative. You can always find an expensive and not much food. Farther...
Tell me, a place for families with children near Naples. Interested in the south of Italy, arrival in Naples. Further plans are to rent a car and drive to a place where there is a good sea for children. Perhaps there are such experts here who have been there) And is it worth going to this coast in the second half of June - will the sea be cold?

There, on the heel of Italy, there is a province - Calabria. Amazing places, that's what I meant, especially if you're in a car. "good sea for kids" - these are sandy beaches, and this is the Adriatic. From Bari and south! Farther...
Hello! At the end of August, or rather even the beginning of September, there is a desire to fly with Visa to Venice. We are going to Italy for the May holidays, we will go through Bologna and Verona, bypassing Venice and Padua. We will be without a car. Questions: 1. What would you advise to see, except for Venice, in its environs. Preferably with a simple access by public transport. 2. What can you say about a beach holiday in the Venice area? I understand that the Ligurian coast is better, but if it’s the Adriatic, then where from Venice you can easily get to see something else along the way. I don’t like big cities, it’s better to have a village well located both by the sea and by transport) 3. Interested in a "foray" to Slovenia. What can you see there from the available public transport? 4. For everything about everything, no more than 10 days. Or rather, even 6-7. Thanks!!!

Nice seaside holiday in the Rimini area. There is also a very beautiful park-museum "Italy in miniature" in this resort. I liked it even more than the Madurodam park in The Hague. We were there as part of a bus tour of Italy. We spent the night in the village of Riccione at the Tiffani's 4 * hotel. Very good hotel right on the first line by the sea. The breakfasts are luxurious, we could not even believe that we were in Italy. From here you can go on an excursion to San Marino. There are also ex ... Farther...

Ultimately, I'm in favor of 3 options: 1) liguria 2) about. Ischia (prices are reasonable - beauty and service are guaranteed, plus across the Strait of Naples - if you want excursions and shopping) 3) Lignano Sabbiadoro - discovered last year by accident - here is a paradise for Russian tourists, many bars, hotels and shops speak Russian, prices are reasonable, beautiful. But it’s too partyy for me (I was with a child), because water parks and entertainment at every turn. Choose! Farther...
