Has anyone gone on excursions in Turkey from local travel agencies? Is it dangerous? Or is it better to order from guides?

For 7 trips I saw only one normal guide (from the tour operator), who did not try by hook or by crook to sell the tour at exorbitant prices .... Therefore, I think it’s not worth paying extra money for the arrogance and rudeness of the guides. Better, take three excursions from local travel agencies (instead of one from a tour operator), and you will also get a discount, accompanied by a good-natured smile (instead of the feigned grin of a mercantile bastard guide).
