What are the average food prices in Spain? Interested in cafes, restaurants, and prices in supermarkets (are they comparable to Kiev?). I understand that all this is very approximate. But if, according to reviews in Greece, you can dine for 30 euros for two, then it was about the same.

In the mercadone (department store) there is a lot of wine and cheap, and cheap products, chilled sea bream fish !! -3 euro/kg, oranges -1 euro per 5 kg, Pepsi 1.5l -0.29 euro, and on the beach -1-2 euro. Having a refrigerator, you can always buy, cool (freeze) and take with you to the beach. Saving on trifles, we have money for good things, than we surprise our friends (we both rested and bought), and after paying for "all inclusive" they only rested. I gave up the services of travel agencies a ... Farther...

I agree that Croatia is better. I have been to many places, but my heart remains in Croatia. Croatia is my love. And you have to go here. But only for those who travel and learn, and definitely not for a vegetable holiday. This is a country where in the winter in Dubrovnik and Split there is still a swimming season, and snow may already fall on the continent. At sea 35, and having moved through the pass of the Velebit mountain range, you will find yourself in a sweet 25 degree weather). And what ... Farther...
The next year, my husband ordered the ocean. I looked at the nearest southern European one. It turns out-Portugal or Spain. But they write that the water is often cold and almost everywhere there are big winds and waves - beaches for surfers are more than for beach cats))) Recommend the season, region, resort for a moderately beachy, not noisy holiday. Thank you!

hatinka, I in no way wanted to offend anyone and I'm not going to think about other people's husbands. Actually, I jokingly wanted to know what other requirements are for the planned vacation, it’s not clear what hurt you so much. Farther...

I wanted to go on vacation and the choice fell on Spain, namely the Costa Brava in August. I scoured the websites of travel agencies, it turned out that the cost goes to this time for 11 days in a 2 * hotel about 30-35 thousand. But after reading the reviews about the fact that after you give the money to the travel agency, their work on this practically stops and no one really cares what will become of you then. Thinking why overpay, I decided to see how much it would be if I booked air tickets and a hotel on my own. And what happened ... the same thing! So I’m suffering now, either I was looking in the wrong place, or it’s really better through a tour company ... Help with advice who traveled in the same way, is independent travel profitable?

Independent travel is not always profitable financially. Tour operators have big discounts at hotels. Tickets for tour operator charters are also cheaper than regular flights. But the tour operator is cheap only on "standard directions". Try to get some exclusive - the price will skyrocket! But there are big advantages to traveling alone: 1) Complete freedom in choosing a hotel. There is no need to live in hotels more like Russian-speaking ghettos! Hotels.com and other similar sites to hel ... Farther...
Please advise which visa-free country should be chosen for a 2-week summer vacation for a young couple? We are looking for beautiful nature, clear sea and mountains, interesting sights (which you can visit on your own), good service, but at the same time a more or less budget option (it will suit a tour to a villa without meals).

All three countries suit your requirements. Of all three, Turkey will be cheaper and more satisfying, the sea is warmer, you will meet more outcasts and cattle. Croatia is the most expensive, the most beautiful and the most civilized. Montenegro is a little simpler than Croatia, but more expensive than Turkey. Farther...
