Mexico is a country of mysteries and magic!
Good afternoon!
I would like to describe our wonderful trip to Mexico
We booked in advance, two months before the start, saved on air travel
Well, we were very glad that now you can enter the country with an electronic permit, which was issued to us without any problems in a travel company.
They chose Air France for us, a very good fare for the flight.
Flew from St. Petersburg-Paris-Mexico City, everything was on time, the food was normal, of course it’s hard to fly so much, but what to do, the rest is worth it!
I'll say right away that Mexico is a country with incredible energy, bright sun, cultural historical monuments, turquoise gentle sea!!!
Upon arrival we were met, quickly collected the bus and taken to the hotel. The next day we went on a sightseeing tour of Mexico City, looked at the anthropological museum, then we were taken to the archaeological zones, then we walked in the park and visited the Chapultepec Palace. Everything was great, the group was surprisingly small, they drove everywhere on a micro bus. We read a lot of stories and heard that it is dangerous in Mexico City, they rob, but the atmosphere was quite friendly, nothing like this happened.
The next day we moved towards the ancient city of Teotehuacan, to see the pyramids, and not only looked, but also climbed the Pyramid of the Sun, what an impression! ! From above, this view of the city opens along the "alley of the dead".
And we also got a lot of emotions from visiting Shkaret Eco Park, it was our additional excursion, which was advised by the agency. What a beautiful, amazing park! Our journey through it lasted the whole day, it is huge, what is the park of butterflies worth, we have never seen such big and beautiful ones, and what color they have! Just a sight to behold and a work of nature! Toward evening we were taken to the show, where the audience themselves are part of it, they light ritual candles, it looks very colorful from the outside. At the concert, we were shown the life and way of life of the Indians.
Well, I can't help but mention Chiche-nitsa, an ancient city called one of the Wonders of the World. It is also included in the UNESCO heritage list. The main attraction, the pyramid-temple of Kukulkan, is very majestic and huge. It is a pity that despite the presence of steps it is impossible to climb it, otherwise we would be happy to visit it))
In addition to the pyramid, the tour includes a walk around the ball game field, the Temple of the Warriors, the El Caracol Observatory and the Cenote. You can also buy souvenirs and sweets there. The price tag is very good, even lower than in the resorts.
After the excursion program, we were brought to rest at the Barcelo Maya Palace hotel, this is a five-star hotel of a very high level, again we are very grateful to our agency for advice and recommendations! In general, "Barcelo" is a huge complex of hotels, we could use the entire territory and restaurants, but those who live in hotels of another category of Barcelo cannot visit us, this is a big plus, since there are a lot of people everywhere, and on our territory privacy and comfort. I also want to make a big emphasis on the beach, everyone correctly explained to us that in our hotel it is the most wonderful, with a gentle entrance and fine sand without stones, in other hotels there were stones on the territory and many complained that they cut their legs. We also had cute turtles and fish on the beach. In general, the hotel has a lot of living creatures, birds, everything is very well maintained, a lot of vegetation. The restaurants in our hotel were also at the highest level, serving, service, food itself, very varied and tasty, everything is fresh and a huge selection. Booked a premium ocean view room. Cool, living room, bedroom, everything is clean, cleaned to the conscience.
In conclusion, I would like to advise everyone to visit this magical, simply amazing place! With its mysterious energy that will charge you for a long time! And of course, taking a tour is a must with a holiday on the coast!
