Worth a look....

So, our journey began on 22.02. 14. at the Boryspil airport, we ourselves are from Ukraine, Kherson. We flew with KLM Kyiv-Amsterdam, and then Amsterdam-Mexico. We took the "4 cultures" tour on 09.03. 14, and then we were on our way to Cancun. But everything is in order. We flew to Mexico City wonderfully, but the only thing that really struck us was such a “machine” with a button that you need to press and it lights up either red or green. Green - please come in, dear guests, but naturally the red light came on and then they took all our suitcases and took away all the sausage, and we were carrying decently ...a wonderful start to the journey. At the airport we were waiting with a sign Intur Mexiko and at about eight o'clock local time (the difference with Ukraine is -7 hours) we were at the hotel. The hotel was called Casa Blanca 4 * (the hotel is not bad, but there was a problem with adapters). The next morning started with breakfast at the hotel (buffet) and at 8 am a big bus was waiting for us.
According to the plan for this day, we had Mexico City-Teotiucan-Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe. It started with an acquaintance with our wonderful guide Gabby (26 years old) and a group (25-30 people) and a sightseeing tour of Mexico City. We visited the Presidential Palace with frescoes. Then we went to the Teotiukan archaeological zone, where we will visit the pyramid of the Sun and the Moon, I will say right away that you need to take sunscreen and smear your face heavily !! ! Climbing the pyramids is hard, but it's worth it! Then we were taken to a nearby cafe, where we were simply shocked! it’s better not to order anything there except lemonade, but we ordered ....not only were the prices crazy, it also turned out to be inedible (Then we went to the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe. We didn’t really like it because there was a huge number We didn't go up to the temple (huge queues), walked there for about 30 minutes and drove off.
We left the hotel and went to the wonderful city of Puebla (City of Angels), spent a great time there: first - a survey, then - 1.5 hours of free time. We visited the majestic temples of this city and its historical center, walked along its main streets, ate delicious shawarma and went to Veracruz, a port city, made a survey and settled in the Diligencias 4 * hotel, located in the very center of the city. And we had a free evening, we walked around the city, felt its flavor and returned to the hotel. Day 4: Veracruz - Park Museum "La Venta" - Palenque. From the hotel we went to an open-air park, where we looked at the huge stone heads of the Olmecs. Then transfer to Palenque (in a very small town), to the hotel Ciudad Real Palenque4 *, located on the outskirts of the city. For those who want to buy tequila, here is the cheapest place!! ! Near the hotel there is a supermarket where you can buy. Day 5: Palenque-Yashchilan-Misol Ha-Palenque Waterfall.
In the morning we head to the arch. the center of Yaxchilan (one of the coolest places on the trip), and also ask your guide to get out of the hotel early, somewhere around 6 in the morning, otherwise by 8 there are already people there, like in an anthill. We get there by boats (very cool)!! ! This arch. the center is the most interesting of all that we have seen because it is in the real jungle, and it is the least excavated. There we met a lot of interesting animals. Then we head to the waterfall, we need to take swimsuits, we will swim under the waterfall there)) and you will also be asked to go down from the bungee over the waterfall - be sure to take it - you will not regret it !! ! THIS IS VERY COOL!! ! After the waterfall, we return back to Palenque! Day 6: Palenque - stop at Mex. Gulf of Campeche. In the morning we visited the arch. zone in Palenque, then we made an insignificant stop at the Gulf of Mexico (about 10 minutes) and then we go to Campeche. We are accommodated in the Plaza Campeche 4* hotel. Day 7: Campeche-Uxmal-Merida.
In the morning we go to Uxmal, then to Merida, do a survey there and stay at the El Espanol 4 * hotel, the hotel is not very good. Day 8: Merida - Chichen Itza - Cenote Ik Kil - Cancun. In the morning we head to Chichen Itza (to be honest, we didn’t really like it, Uxmal was much more interesting, but it’s interesting for those who only went to Cancun and took a trip to Chichen Itza there). Then we will go to the cenote, where we will need swimsuits, for swimming in the beautiful water of the cenote, we really liked it) And finally we are heading to Cancun to our Riu Caribe 5 * hotel. We really liked the 4 cultures tour, but its only negative is the long journeys, but it was worth it!!! ! A little about the holidays in Cancun: everything is fine - food, drinks, but a huge minus is the incredible number of Americans who get drunk at the bar and then get up . . !! ! In general, the trip was VERY pleasant, it was worth the money !!!

The gondola really seems to be hanging in the air. I never got to the Doge's Palace, although I was in Venice twice. Well, well, the splendor of decoration in the old fashion. And it's still interesting. When I get a chance, I'll go there too.
No, no, Tatyana, whatever you say, but it's beautiful! Even if there is a certain excess of gold. :) But when you think about how much work has been invested here, how many craftsmen have worked on it, how much time and effort has been spent on it ... Maybe not unconditional delight, but it causes admiration! And the Ladder of the Giants is generally out of competition. :)))
Signora_L, in my life I don’t really like museums, but I always enjoy watching everything with you.
Signora_L, по жизни я не особо люблю музеи, но с Вами всегда с удовольствием все смотрю.
Doge's Palace booked to visit, thank you! The views from the Bridge of Sighs are beautiful and really seem to be frozen in time...
People in the photo without masks and social distance are perceived as a surreal picture from a past life, eh :(
