About Makunudu Island. the island is small, really small, you can walk around at a leisurely pace in 10-15 minutes. Rooms. A little shabby, but quite spacious, high ceiling, easy to breathe. The room is decorated in a colonial style. There is a small problem here - the first days they could not understand where the sand was all the time on the bed, they thought there was a draft, it turned out that there was not, the ceiling vault was decorated with wooden (not debarked, that is, in the bark) poles, fastened together at the joints with a rope.

So some bark beetles live in these poles, and the products of their vital activity are poured from above onto the sheets.
Cleaned daily and well. Tipping, of course, is welcome - we, in 14 days, have never had the same sheets filled - just some kind of work of art.
The staff is friendly and tries to fulfill, and fulfills, our wishes.
Of the shortcomings - there is no bath and bidet, so after the toilet you have to take a shower.
We still lacked the veranda in front of the room, to sit for a coffee or when it rains.
The room has a kettle and hairdryer.
There is also NO TV, music center and wi-fi.
Internet is available only at the reception.
$5 for 30 minutes, the speed is faster only on foot.
About the location of the houses - the best numbers (according to the coastal zone, the entrance to the sea and private - a separate piece of the coast, palm trees and other vegetation that allows you to retire and not see anyone) - from 1 to 10 and, a little worse (a lot of sharp corals, but good location and privacy) - from 19 to 22 (but they are close to amenity premises and a rumble is heard, it seems, diesel generators).
We do not recommend settling in the rest at all - or there is no beach at all (wooden bridges) or a "branch of the Sochi" beach in terms of the number of vacationers per 1 Sq. Meter.
Coral shoes, however, are MANDATORY for any placement.
About the kitchen.
The food is delicious and varied. They ran into spicy food (once soup, the other - chicken) in 14 days only twice, and then through inattention.
A separate BOW to the chefs for desserts.
Snorkeling and diving.
We can’t say anything, not fans, but almost everyone else is snorkeling (the island has its own reef) and we see their joyful faces. By the way, there are sharks here. At 19 o'clock they constantly sail to the pier.
You can also meet them during the day snorkeling near the reef.
More entertainment.
There is a good tennis table in the middle of the island.
There is a volleyball court, but we didn’t see anyone wanting to do group sports, so I think this is the most useless idea, although, on the other hand, you can play badminton together, for example.
The main bar has darts.
The diving center has one canoe boat and a sailing catamaran. You can also ride a bagel behind a boat. From entertainment, perhaps, everything. And, yes, there is also a SPA, but some are very frail and not lively.
Separately, about "all inclusive" - as planned by the hotel, what is included and what is not, the waiter should tell you, but they do not. "Included" everything to a minimum, so, for example, not the most expensive dry wine (at home for 400-450 rubles / bottle) here for a fee of 1500-2000 rubles.
Milkshakes are also available for a fee. Yes, the "all inclusive" system works from 10-00 to 24-00, i. e. If you took a bottle of Sprite (0.33l. ,
breakfast from 7-30 to 10-00), then it will cost you $ 4, but after 10-00 it is already free.
Well, perhaps that's all.
To go to this hotel or not - you choose.
We went here - just for a "seal" rest, to lie around with a "rag" by the ocean.
We got what we wanted and are satisfied with the rest, especially since this is not the first time in the Maldives and there is something to compare with.
