Villa Markovic class b was offered to us by a travel agency and since we refused Villa Boret due to bad reviews, we decided to choose it.
When planning a vacation in Montenegro, we faced the problem of a lack of information about the villas, their location, old reviews and the most interesting thing is that, for example, there are three Markovic villas in Budva, Boreta in general 4 pcs. In general, it is easy to get confused and do not want to hope for one thing, but come to a completely different place.
Where is the villa located in Budva?
The location of the villa is very good. It is located at the beginning of Budva from Tivat. Near the old town, it is convenient to walk to the Mogren beach and the public Slavensky beach. We walked a lot and always made sure that our villa had a good location. Very close to the market, megamarket, pharmacy, supermarket Aroma, Franz, a two-minute walk from the LM cafe with set meals (7-9 euros per person). And it is important that you do not need to climb up the mountain.
What is a villa?
Villa Markovic consists of two buildings: Markovic 1 and Markovic 2. They are separated by a very busy road. Markovic 1 is located below the road towards the beach. The villas have courtyards with a small garden. Lots of greenery, trees and flowers.
Settlement and living conditions.
We arrived in Markovic at about 11 and we were immediately settled by the hostess, whom we never saw again : ) Our room was located in Markovic 1 on the second floor, the windows overlooked the courtyard and this was the first plus, since the rooms overlooking the road were very noisy.
Room: economy class, everything is very simple, but thank God it was clean. The room itself is cramped for two people, the bathroom is large and it is completely incomprehensible why such spaces are needed if there is nowhere to breathe in the room. The closet is small and only with hangers, so we always had the main clothes in the bag. Bed linen with synthetics and clung to everything that was not laziness. Pros: large balcony. But we would have died with this if we had not seen all the rooms of the villa on the penultimate day of our vacation. The villa was empty, there were no vacationers at all, and how it was refused that the hostess gave her only vacationers the worst room. It was very unpleasant and even insulting, because all the rooms are empty. The rest of the rooms are spacious and freshly renovated, we also photographed them.
The room has good Wi-fi, a boiler, air conditioning, refrigerator, electric kettle. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board are in the hallway for general use.
Tips for Montenegro; )
1. It is better to choose a villa with a kitchen in the room. Especially if you are traveling without food. In Budva, fishermen sell seafood on the embankment and you can cook it in your room.
2. If you like fishing, be sure to take a fishing rod. In Montenegro, this is not prohibited. The locals are meat-eaters and practically do not eat fish. And there are so many of them (Sibas, Darada), even catch with a net.
3. I advise you to rent a car, at least for a couple of days. Montenegro is smaller than the Kiev region, it is worth seeing the whole of it. This is a beautiful country that combines beautiful sea and majestic mountains. We liked the interior of Montenegro more than the coastal one.
4. Mobile Internet. If you want to travel around the country or you always need the Internet, then buy a card from the mobile operator M: tel. (10 euros - 500 Gb for 15 days).
Despite the cons of the villa, we really enjoyed our vacation in Montenegro. We highly recommend visiting this country.

Everything was modest. Close to the sea, good location, interior, good "tip". This is an ordinary villa with owners, no animation, etc. we were on our own. The rooms were cleaned every day. Meals are not provided there. I would recommend this hotel.

We chose a villa based on reviews, check-in from 13, but we were lucky and at 7-40 we were already in the room. The room is modest but tidy. Wi-fi is decent throughout. Room 1 was on a high ground floor overlooking the mountain and the road. The noise of the cars did not interfere, we live at home near the highway.

We took a tour of the Bay of Kotor, liked it, for 12 euros per person, Montenegro cruise company. Very beautiful mountains and sea. The sea is clear on beaches where there are fewer people, such as Mogren. Rest satisfied. In the villa, the linen was not changed, although it required it, towels once a week. The trash was taken out every day. The owner is smiling. The advantage of the villa is that you do not have to climb up from the sea. Yes, a kettle and a refrigerator in the room are working, an iron and a hair dryer are free on the floor.

We rested in the Upper Villa. In general, everything was fine, the room was not on the road, there was no noise, burning. Room with a small balcony, the view of the neighboring villas is not very good, but better than the road. The room has a kettle, refrigerator, shower, air conditioning. There is an iron in the hallway.

There is an iron in the hallway. The room is very small, but if you only spend the night there, then tolerably. The hostess (or maid) is very friendly, she doesn't know Russian or English, but she can explain it on her fingers. There is no kitchen. The best thing is the location, everything is nearby, the beach, the old town, supermarkets. For us it was important. Wi-fi caught in the room super, because there was a modem next to the room. If the room overlooks the road - I think this is a problem, because there is really a very noisy highway nearby.

We rested with our family, in the upper villa "Merkovich" (3rd floor) on the southeast side (there is also a lower building across the road, I don’t know how it is). A spacious terrace with a table and comfortable chairs with a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea (high-rise buildings, however, partially blocked the view towards the sea).

A spacious terrace with a table and comfortable chairs with a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea (high-rise buildings, however, partially blocked the view towards the sea). Very convenient location - everything is close: the sea, supermarkets (one - 3-4min walk, others - megamarket, "Franca" 5-10min), shopping center. The room is spacious and clean and has everything you need. The people who met us and came to clean the room are very friendly, the room was cleaned at the time when we went to the sea or went on excursions. The busy trans-Adriatic route "Yadransky Shlyakh" below did not irritate at all, and in combination with wonderful views it was somehow perceived quite unobtrusively (sightseeing buses, convertibles, vacationers from nightclubs even complemented and enlivened this landscape).
If I had the opportunity and desire to visit Montenegro again, I would definitely like to stay again in this villa and in the same room.

We had a room with a gorgeous view of the central highway with a slope of 7% and all the trucks and buses that pass through Budva, going up the hill, shake your entire room day and night. Saves only the complete closure of the blinds and windows tightly. During the eviction, our flight was postponed and we had to move to Podgorica because there were no flights from Tivat at night.

During the eviction, our flight was postponed and we had to move to Podgorica because there were no flights from Tivat at night. While waiting for departure in the backyard of the villa and realizing that there was an hour and a half ahead on the bus, the wife asked to visit the toilet, but the worker somehow got cold feet and refused, after which we heard "shameless" in her conversation with another worker
I do not recommend rooms 4 and 5 - they are on the road. In general, those who are used to the noise of the road, then as a bonus - the proximity of the center, the beach and the market. But the sediment remained.

The villa was chosen because the tour operator confirmed the booking. We arrived at about 8.00, and the check-in was from 12.00, so it was inconvenient with a small child. It's good that we were allowed into the room after all at 11.00. PoVilla was chosen because the tour operator confirmed the booking. We arrived at about 8.

It's good that we were allowed into the room after all at 11.00.
Liked the cleanliness of the room.
Advantages: mountain view (sea view is unfortunately closed by new buildings), proximity to shops, availability
large terrace
Disadvantages: lack of an awning from the sun, old plumbing, traumatic relative position of the boiler
and toilet bowl, lack of an exhaust hood in the bathroom, lack of normal Internet connection, noise from the highway (especially from
bikers riding without a silencer), noise until 01.00 from the disco.
The service is good - every day cleaning and taking out the garbage, after 5 days they change the linen. When the boiler broke down
Master and fixed everything within a day. I liked the cleanliness of the room.

In Montenegro, there are Apartaments Markovic (rating on booking 8.5. ) and Villa Markovic (there are no 3 stars here) DO NOT confuse !! ! When choosing the Join Up hotel, it was Apartaments Markovic that showed pictures, but when I arrived in Montenegro, I immediately realized that this was not the right hotel! Villa Markoviс consists of two buildings (across the highway), if you have a room on the highway (and there are quite a few of them), then you are unlikely to be able to sleep with an open balcony.

Villa Markoviс consists of two buildings (across the highway), if you have a room on the highway (and there are quite a few of them), then you are unlikely to be able to sleep with an open balcony. Highway traffic is huge at any time of the day. We lived in the building, which is on the left side, if you go towards Kotor. THERE IS NO KITCHEN. ANYWHERE! I don't know about the first case. Wi-fi in our room (number 5) did not pull at all! Maybe, of course, this is for the best. But who needs the Internet all the time, then this is not your restaurant. There are no DOUBLE beds in the villa! In room 4 it was still possible to move them so that there was no hole, in our room (5) there were wooden beds, when they were moved, the distance between the mattresses was 20 cm, we asked for an extra blanket to put in this hole, not helped a lot! Again "THANK YOU" Join UP we had ONE condition double bed and you didn't fulfill it!! ! The bathroom is very small, really small. Is there a fridge and kettle in the room. Towels were changed once a week. Bed never. The room is clean, cleaning every day, but someone messed up in his shift sometimes. The territory of the villa is planted with flowers. Do not take food right away, they are fed in the LM cafe (3 minutes from the villa), if you do not take it through a company, they have cheaper prices on the menu. Walk to the sea for 7-10 minutes. Very friendly hotel employee (I don't remember her name, unfortunately).

Stayed with a group of 4 people. Reading the reviews of previous vacationers went with apprehension and doubts. Arriving in Budva, everything turned out to be the opposite of what some vacationers wrote unpleasant . . The hostess warmly welcomed us, settled us on the 3rd floor at will. The view from the 7th room on the sea is awesome... There are also kettles and refrigerators, which even work quietly, and not like in Egypt at 5 *. It's nice to walk to the sea for 7-10 minutes, considering the villas, which are innumerable in Budva, a megamarket, super trendy and super expensive stores, as well as inexpensive markets with friendly sellers. On the way from the sea, we went to the Green Market and the supermarket for groceries for a snack in the morning. During the day we dined in restaurants on the coast, enjoying delicious and high-quality Montenegrin food. The purpose of the trip justified itself. The sea is exceptional - warm, quiet, clean, especially on the island of St. Nicholas. The air temperature did not make us wish for the best + 25-29, while the water was + 22-25. One bliss. All trips were made - the monastery of Vasily Ostrozhsky, the Tsetinsky monastery. In Cetinje, in the museum, they kissed a very great shrine - the Icon of the Virgin of Filerim, whose history is very impressive. Twice we were at the Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Church in Stary Grad. Everything is clear in the liturgy, since it is served mainly in Old Church Slavonic. We went to Bosnia and Herzegovina to the monasteries Tvrdosh and Herceg Gracanitsa. Here I would like to hear a little sociable guide. In Kotor, we visited the celebration of the 950th anniversary of the Temple of the Great Martyr Tryphon, where His Honorable Head rests (it is a pity that they did not venerate the relics in connection with the celebration). Here, the inhabitants of the country were envied for the attitude of state institutions to the Shrines. We would like that....I'll return to the owners. Very unobtrusive and friendly to residents. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and there is enough space to stay on vacation. Always hot and cold water, change of linen once a week is enough. Wi-fi on the first floor works fine, above - intermittently. , but we did not come here for this. In a word, THE TRIP, THANK GOD, SUCCESSFUL. Would like to come back again. . .
