I chose the hotel based on numerous reviews not only of compatriots, but also of foreign citizens (they believed more, because ours are used to everything).
Most of all I liked the atmosphere of this place. Really relaxing. Quiet, calm. Service is good, sheets are clean. The view from the window is gorgeous, you can drink coffee on the balcony in the morning and enjoy the mountains. Beautiful clean beach.
The impressions about the rest largely depend on the hotel, but I will completely like this hotel. And most importantly, I managed to really relax in 6 days!

Housing was selected according to the following parameters:
Beautiful nature
Distance from the city (complete relaxation)
Price
Positive feedback
After writing to the hotel email, I soon received the answer that everything is ok, meet us.
The ticket was bought from the JoinUp agency (very nice managers, I recommend).
From Tivat to the apartment is about half an hour's drive.
So what did you like about the apartment:
Nice staff (very hospitable host, who drove us 2 times to the beach and the nearest town, the girls at the reception, who speak quite good English)
Quiet, picturesque place (from the open terrace overlooks the garden and the sea, which seems much closer, the magical sunsets under a bottle of wine - what the doctor prescribed). On the other side of the hotel is a mountain range - almost steep walls that fit close to the fence.
Reasonable prices
Clean bedding, all necessary kitchen and toiletries in the room
The best beach you have ever seen in Montenegro is Drobni Pijesak, clear turquoise water, a small number of people (up to 100, even less in the morning), gorgeous diving rocks, sea urchins, shoals of fish, sea urchins and an underwater cave. Maybe someone will not like the rocky bottom and the beach, but at the same time much more transparent water. Surf-polished stones form natural baths, where it is enough not to forget the routine; ) Also as an option is the beach at St. Stephanie.
On the downside, it is difficult to get from the hotel - you need about 800 m to walk down to the road, where you can catch or on the way, or a bus to St. Stephen's (for the first time we walked) or Sutomore (towards the beach). If you go on foot, the road is quite unpleasant 3.5 km along the road, where there is almost no roadside and then quite a steep descent to the sea. If you rent a car, these problems disappear.
Also, the place is quite far from all excursions (although you can arrange and get on the bus at the turn near the track), and in general all excursions start from Budva.
And finally, Montenegro left just unsurpassed impressions of itself, this explosive cocktail of clean sea air, turquoise water and steep mountains, which I love so much. I feel like I will come back here again and again!

Knowing full well that we were going to a big, noisy, popular city, we wanted to live in a relatively quiet place, but at the same time not too far from the sea. Nikolic, indeed, did not deceive expectations. The location of the hotel is wonderful. 15 minutes walk to the sea, nearby there are a lot of cafes, shops, there are tents with clothes, beach equipment, a bus station is a 5-minute walk, to stops from which Budva-St. Stefan, about the same. In general, the location is great! What else did we like? Nikolic is located in the "Montenegrin-Serbian" quarter (99% of the residents are local), respectively, the prices in the cafe are set "as for their own". They are 2, and in some positions even 3 times cheaper than on the promenade and just in the city center! This, of course, is a significant plus : ) To be honest, the absence of large "Tagilov" companies in this area was a plus for us : )) Although in fairness I will say that a couple of times they were trying to replace them by the Serbs shouting from the hotel opposite (I understand who one of them left, in honor of this they arranged a noble drinking party), but, fortunately, this was only twice. So there are no questions about the location and infrastructure. We've got everything set up. As for the hotel itself, it is quite nice, cozy. We love small family hotels and this one is one of them. It even has its own small territory (very, very small, but in Budva everyone has a problem with this), a couple of decorative fountains, a veranda. Everything looks nice and neat. But in general, lovers of space are better, of course, to choose something else, because a few more are almost very close to the hotel and periodically felt "like a herring in a barrel. " For us, this was not critical, because we did not spend much time at the hotel, but for some, I know, this is important. About the numbers. We asked in advance to place us on the 3rd floor, because there are slightly more rooms than on the 1st, 2nd. It was nice that the hosts took into account our wishes and immediately upon arrival gave us the key to the room on the 3rd floor. The room is not the biggest, the bathroom is even smaller (there is almost nowhere to turn around), but in general, everything was clean, tidy, we were pleased with the presence of our own balcony (in some rooms there is none, but there is access to a common terrace), air conditioning (as he saved us in the heat! ), the design of the room itself and hotels (pictures were hung everywhere, etc. ). Why then put 7, you ask? Due to minor imperfections. Well, for example, we wanted to somehow drink tea in the room. We decided to put the kettle on (it was in the room), but it didn’t open, either the button was jammed, or there were problems with the lid, in general, we poked and poked - we decided that it would be easier to go to a cafe nearby. The situation is similar with the hair dryer. He may have worked. But when I took it out of the locker, took it in my hands - my mother! - just hardened dirt, inside - too. It felt like it hadn't been wiped for 10 years. To be honest, I disdained to dry my long hair with it. . Although I never considered myself a sissy before. The lack of a normal trash can also worked in the negative. There was a small trash bin in the bathroom, but the big one didn’t have it at all (as I understand it, there is a huge problem with trash bins in the country, as well as with napkins), as a result, it clogged up very quickly and every other day we went to throw the garbage into containers ourselves. Because of these minor flaws, which, in general, are not so difficult to eliminate (perhaps in other rooms the kettle worked and the hairdryer was normal), and put 7. But in general, I repeat, the hotel is not bad. And you should choose it only because of its location! If you happen to have a rest in Budva. I'm looking for a place to live in this area : )

I'll start with the main thing, I'm in Budva for the fifth time. I always try to choose villas in the Slovyanska beach area, Villa Nikolic is located in this area (quietly, calmly), where I like to live. Of the advantages of the villa - clean, tidy, from the windows there is a wonderful landscape of mountains and Budva courtyards, towels were changed daily, in the room (DBL-standard) there is a kettle, hairdryer, two cups, two plates, two glasses, forks, spoons, a knife (everything minimum, but everything you need is there), air conditioning, plumbing worked properly. … More ▾ I'll start with the main thing, I'm in Budva for the fifth time. Of the minuses, the rooms are small (20m room plus bathroom), most rooms do not have a balcony (but there is an amazing white terrace (common), you need to exit through the corridor). The rooms of the second and third floors are in priority, on the first floor - not very much (a neighboring couple lived - they complained about a very dark room and 17 m2). It takes about 30 minutes to walk to a normal beach (Mogren), there is nothing to do on the city (it became dirty). I can recommend Villa Nikolić , it's not bad for a holiday. Not far from the market, delicious grilled meat is prepared in the meat (Kolezhanin) st. Yardan way for gas station. In Montenegro, I recommend trying pshrut, fruits, seafood, Capriceza pizza, Vranac wine (200.4 euros a bottle in the market, in restaurants somewhere around 12 euros). There is a new feature on Mogren, if you come with your umbrella, then it is changed to a branded one for free. Happy holidays everyone!

This three-storey white villa with balusters is the best I have seen in Budva, and this opinion was shared by everyone in our group. To pull her a little closer to the beach, she would not have had a price, otherwise, she would have to stomp there for 15-20 minutes. I liked everything about it - from the appearance to the content and the inner atmosphere, which was especially emphasized by the sincerely friendly and hospitable hosts. … More ▾ This three-storey white villa with balusters is the best I have seen in Budva, and this opinion was shared by everyone in our group. I liked everything about it - from the appearance to the content and the inner atmosphere, which was especially emphasized by the sincerely friendly and hospitable hosts. It saves the situation of remoteness from the sea, the fact that stomping to the villa from the beach is not too uphill, as is often the case in Budva. Also, shops with cafes and restaurants are located nearby, and the area is very quiet and calm.
There is a lovely well-groomed little courtyard that makes a strangely positive impression. I was especially touched by the "owners" of the lawn in front of the entrance - three turtles, a large one and two tiny ones, most likely a mother with cubs.
In the cozy lobby there is a small bar with a bar, where guests of the villa can have a cup of coffee (1 Euro) or other drink, or just relax in a pleasant environment. There is also an open area.
The rooms are very comfortable - it is clearly seen that the owners have invested their soul here and are rooting for their own business in a good way. I won’t be surprised if there are those who want to look for flaws with a magnifying glass in their hands - this is definitely not here, so as not to spoil the rest of normal people with their negativity. The room has a TV, refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, WiFi. There is good-quality furniture all around, in each room there is a pleasant, not very small balcony or terrace.
Attention! Triple room only one, on request.
A little about the beaches of Budva. I'll start with the distant Yaz, it is so called because it is located in the lovely and clean bay of Yaz (JAZ). From Budva it is easy to get there by taxi, only 5 Euros, so if a company of four, then it works out fine. The cost of sun loungers and umbrellas is 3 Euros per unit, but many sunbathe just like that on clean pebbles covered with a towel. The water there is of excellent transparency, the bay itself is the most beautiful, and even protected from the wind, so you are guaranteed beach pleasure. The beach is quite well equipped, sunbeds and umbrellas are different, for every taste, there are cafes and bars.
Perhaps someone will be interested that in this bay, on the left side, if you look at the sea, behind the rock is one of the nudist beaches of Montenegro. Fans of this business understand what it is about, but I want to warn those who are just curious and looking for adventure - it is better for single girls not to meddle there. The fact is that one of the girls from our company, who decided to merge with nature and get complete relaxation on an almost empty beach, had an incident there, from which she could not recover for a long time. It turns out that everything is simple - fans of the rest “what mother gave birth to”, perceive it all as the norm of life, but local guys think differently - a beautiful girl came to show herself, which means that we must also demonstrate everything. Thank God, everything ended well, but the girl suffered a lot of fear, especially considering that the beach is rather deserted. Please note that the proximity of this beach will in no way disturb the peace of the rest, most likely, the majority of vacationers will not even notice its presence.
I highly recommend going there, at least once on an excursion - this is one of the best beaches on the Budva Riviera.
Slovenska Plaž a beach. What to say? The beach is quite long, but in the season there are still people there, like herrings in a barrel - such a pleasure for an amateur. It should be noted that this beach is equipped with good infrastructure - here you will find bars, and restaurants, and cafes, and snack bars like "fast food", but of high quality, and even fishermen with the sale of their catch after 16.30 (closer to the Old Town). In some restaurants you can order the preparation of fresh seafood - 8 Euro per kilo, no matter what kind of living creatures you buy, moreover, this is with serving and service, I think this is a good price. On this beach there is a local open-air disco called "Trocadero" (not to be confused with a nightclub with the same name). There are also “changing rooms” - peculiar, look at the photo. Toilets are all paid, sun lounger + umbrella 10 Euro - bites. Then, there are a lot of water activities - also their own nuances, so be prepared.
Richard's Glava Beach is a small beach that literally squeezes into the Old Town on one side, and the rocks leading to Mogren Beach on the other. On this beach there is a bar where you can take a beer and sit in sun loungers for free and use the toilet (but this is if you are lucky to take a suitable table). There is a pier there, but it is dilapidated or not yet repaired. The bottom is large pebbles, but large stones are regularly removed from the beach. This beach is used by vacationers from Avala. It offers a gorgeous view from the Citadel in the Old City.
Mogren Beach is perhaps the most famous of the local beaches. In fact, there are two of them - Mogren-1 and Mogren-2. A picturesque path along the cliff leads to them just from the beach of Richard's Head. There is also a bay, which consists of two parts, which designate two beaches. To the second Mogren, you will have to go through a wooden passage in the rock, and, at the initial stage, you will have to enter the water knee-deep, and maybe even higher. But this does not stop the fans of this place and there are also enough people there, perhaps a little less than on the first beach, but in the season, I mean, it will be dense there. On the beach, everything is available for a comfortable stay - bars, showers, toilets. On the second beach there is even something similar to a restaurant, but in early June it was still closed, so I can’t say for sure.
I highly recommend this villa for a relaxing and romantic holiday - I am sure that this is one of the very few places where you can enjoy your time in Budva.

From the room there was access to a small terrace (we lived on the first floor, the owners live on the last floor), where there was a refrigerator, a table and two chairs - we often ate here watermelon and melons) (their melons are orange - just super! ) Among the minuses: you need to go to the beach through the highway (there are traffic lights) - the beach is municipal and not very good, go min. 20 to a good beach to the right along the rocks or to the left in Becici (on foot it's about 40 minutes), the rooms in the villa are very small. BUT: everything is compensated by the youth, party city, discos, just bombing cuisine in numerous restaurants, beautiful architecture of the old city. We also went on excursions: Skadal Lake (so-so, but the guide, a local woman, told about the country in a very interesting way) and Dubrovnik (I advise! ). The villa, in my opinion, is suitable for modest couples and those who do not like to spend holidays in noisy hotels , but wants to stay with decent family people "for an overnight stay") From Montenegro, the impression is "like at home", cozy, satisfying and calm)
P. s. Don't be afraid to buy a tour without meals! Here, for ten days, one will spend a maximum of 200 euros, even if you like to eat very thoroughly). For chic meals I recommend the Porto restaurant, for hearty everyday meals - the Pod Vine restaurant!

I deliberately did not write a review about the hotel immediately upon arrival - my emotions subsided, I can carefully talk about the hotel and a little rest.
To begin with, I was in Montenegro for the second time. Moreover, both times I stayed at the Nikolic villas. Yes, yes, in the villas. There are two of them in Budva. One at the very end of the city under the mountain, next to the Villa Prestige.
The second is located almost opposite the hotel Slovyansky beach. Next to Villa Azzuro. This is the second one I want to write about.
So, the villa consists of 2 apartments of the owner and his son (2nd and 4th floor), as well as 17 rooms (1st and 3rd floor). The villa rooms are small but clean, well maintained and good. The layout of the villa is excellent. There are no balconies in the rooms, but on each floor there is a huge terrace with tables and special things for drying clothes. There are no safes in the rooms, but you can ask the hosts for a portable portable safe. However, it is not needed. We kept the money in the room and nothing happened to them - the villa is guarded around the clock, there are no strangers.
Rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed every 2 days. Once every 3 days - in bed. The plumbing is good. Everything works great!
The villa has a mini-garden, made by the hands of the owner. Excellent and beautiful, with fountains. In the evening, it's great to sit on the terrace on the ground floor, drink wine and listen to the murmur of water. By the way, there are also 3 land turtles.
At the villa you can order coffee-tea-water-juice-beer (all for 1 euro) and wine, brandy. There is free Wi-Fi.
The owner of the villa, Mio, is just the sun! Thank him very much! He was our witness at the wedding, took us there, took us to the beach, treated us to brandy.
In general, any issue can be resolved at the villa - if you are treated politely, culturally and to the point. And not "oh, but I imagined everything differently. "
We went to the Slavic beach only 1 time - on the first day in the evening. There are a lot of people there, but I wanted solitude. The situation on Mogren is not much better.
I really liked the Trsteno beach - 7 km, behind the Jaz beach. Mio took us there.
I liked it very much. We agreed with Mio to see him next year, only for 2 weeks.

Hi all. We have been to Montenegro several times already, but at the beginning of the season it has not happened yet. How is the weather in late May and early June. We are planning to visit for 2 weeks, from May 25-28. Thanks

Comrades vacationers, I’m going to Montenegro not for the first time already, but for the first time with a child, and therefore I can hardly imagine where to soap with him, because our child is terribly restless, in other words, a rocket. Previously, we chose Trsteno beach, but I'm afraid it will get tired of us in 2 weeks. Where else can you rush with a child? Interested in beaches, maybe some interesting places to climb, something with attractions or something like that. And yet - maybe someone went rafting, they will let you go there with a 6-year-old child? Thanks)
