The smell is appropriate - it "smells" of dampness and mold. And the room we looked at was not the worst - a studio apartment with a kitchenette. In addition, there is a refrigerator in the room. The furniture in the room is the most cheap. There is a shower cabin in the bathroom. There are creepy seams between the tiles, the floor is even worse (see photo) The design of the whole villa is also funny, and the paintings made me stop my eyes and think that I just don’t understand anything about painting. From the villa to the beach, it’s very decent to stomp, and it’s even worse to return - downhill, and there are also a lot of steps.
Despite everything that I have listed, the view from the balcony is the most beautiful, in addition, lemons grow under the balcony, you can just get it with your hand - it's so beautiful! I don't mean ball lemons, if that. If you are promised a view of the sea, then take it at least with humor, since you can contemplate the sea there only if you stand on a chair on the balcony. However, I liked the view - it's the best thing about this villa. To the pluses, in fairness, I will also include the presence of a safe and free WiFi.
And now, about the most pleasant - a little about the beaches of Budva. I'll start with the distant Yaz, it is so called because it is located in the lovely and clean bay of Yaz (JAZ). From Budva it is easy to get there by taxi, only 5 Euros, so if a company of four, then it works out fine. The cost of sun loungers and umbrellas is 3 Euros per unit, but many sunbathe just like that on clean pebbles covered with a towel. The water there is of excellent transparency, the bay itself is the most beautiful, and even protected from the wind, so you are guaranteed beach pleasure. The beach is quite well equipped, sunbeds and umbrellas are different, for every taste, there are cafes and bars.
Perhaps someone will be interested that in this bay, on the left side, if you look at the sea, behind the rock is one of the nudist beaches of Montenegro. Fans of this business understand what it is about, but I want to warn those who are just curious and looking for adventure - it is better for single girls not to meddle there. The fact is that one of the girls from our company, who decided to merge with nature and get complete relaxation on an almost empty beach, had an incident there, from which she could not recover for a long time. It turns out that everything is simple - fans of relaxation "what mother gave birth to" perceive it all as the norm of life, but local guys think differently - a beautiful girl came to show herself, which means that we must also demonstrate everything. Thank God, everything ended well, but the girl suffered a lot of fear, especially considering that the beach is rather deserted. Please note that the proximity of this beach will in no way disturb the peace of the rest, most likely, the majority of vacationers will not even notice its presence.
I highly recommend going there, at least once on an excursion - this is one of the best beaches on the Budva Riviera.
Slovenska Plaž a beach. What to say? The beach is quite long, but in the season there are still people there, like herrings in a barrel - such a pleasure for an amateur. It should be noted that this beach is equipped with good infrastructure - here you will find bars, and restaurants, and cafes, and snacks like "fast food", but of high quality, and even fishermen with the sale of their catch after 16.30 (closer to the Old Town). In some restaurants you can order the preparation of fresh seafood - 8 Euro per kilo, no matter what kind of living creatures you buy, moreover, this is with serving and service, I think this is a good price. On this beach there is a local open-air disco called "Trocadero" (not to be confused with a nightclub with the same name). There are also "dressing rooms" - peculiar, look at the photo. Toilets are all paid, sun lounger + umbrella 10 Euro - bites. Then, there are a lot of water activities - also their own nuances, so be prepared.
Richard's Glava Beach is a small beach that literally squeezes into the Old Town on one side, and the rocks leading to Mogren Beach on the other. On this beach there is a bar where you can take a beer and sit in sun loungers for free and use the toilet (but this is if you are lucky to take a suitable table). There is a pier there, but it is dilapidated or not yet repaired. The bottom is large pebbles, but large stones are regularly removed from the beach. This beach is used by vacationers from Avala. It offers a gorgeous view from the Citadel in the Old City.
Mogren Beach is perhaps the most famous of the local beaches. In fact, there are two of them - Mogren-1 and Mogren-2. A picturesque path along the cliff leads to them just from the beach of Richard's Head. There is also a bay, which consists of two parts, which designate two beaches. To the second Mogren, you will have to go through a wooden passage in the rock, and, at the initial stage, you will have to enter the water knee-deep, and maybe even higher. But this does not stop the fans of this place and there are also enough people there, perhaps a little less than on the first beach, but in the season, I mean, it will be dense there. On the beach, everything is available for a comfortable stay - bars, showers, toilets. On the second beach there is even something similar to a restaurant, but in early June it was still closed there, so I can’t say for sure.
I don't know what price would induce me to settle in this villa, but everything is possible. Weigh yourself and make a decision, I hope that my review will become some kind of argument in choosing.

The villa is nice and fully met our expectations. the location is convenient, to the central market and a supermarket about 5 minutes on foot, and close to the bus stop, and to the waterfront. but at the same time there is no noise from the highway and from discos in the evenings. Slovenian beaches are also not far away, but we decided to go to Mogren (25 minutes), since both the water and the beach itself are cleaner (by the way, since this year the beaches in Montenegro are free, which could not but please) You can still go to the beach in St. Stefan (there are small pebbles, pine trees, and the sun in the afternoon is longer than on Mogren, which is under the mountain) by Olimpia Express buses for 2 euros one way, or to the beaches of Jaz (we didn’t really like it), Trsteno and Ploce ( I haven't been to these so I can't say. )
The room in the villa is very comfortable, there is a safe, a kettle, a hair dryer, an iron, a refrigerator, a TV set, a bathroom with a boiler - everything worked properly; hand soap, toilet paper, minimal dishes, cleaned every day, for 10 days 1 change of bed and towels; on the balcony there is a table with chairs. view from the window - a bit of the sea, mountains, neighboring houses (but not window to window). There is nowhere to cook in the villa, but there is a cafe nearby where you can go for breakfast. and if you go to the embankment, then there is no problem where to eat at all! for those who want to save money, the chain of self-service restaurants Mercur is cheaper there, but tasty and more or less varied.
The owner is very friendly
about excursions: the choice is large, we went to the Bay of Kotor and Dubrovnik. I liked everything (although the Montenegrins are not particularly tense). in general, the rest turned out to be wonderful : ) the mood with which you go to rest is very important

I will also describe my impressions....about our vacation... The meeting party "Pylon" is just a bunch of virgins who came to marry a Montenegrin....accordingly, the problems of tourists are of the least interest to them...... The meeting party "Pylon" is just a bunch of virgins who came to marry a Montenegrin....accordingly, the problems of tourists are of the least interest to them...... Their job was to meet us at the airport and immediately handed us their leaflet with excursions, like you need to take only from them, because they have Russian-speaking guides..... it seems that only they have..... and they took you to the villa....and then figure it out yourself . . they settled you there or No. . .
The first impression of the villa is excellent!! ! as we were told that thank God that you were settled in the villa that you ordered, but...... on the official website of the villa it is indicated that the DBL rooms have a sea view....and what was our surprise when we the owner's wife took me to the room... everything was fine....as in the photo... until we opened the curtains on the balcony (((((((
the view was on the wall of a neighboring building!!!!!! ! it was the worst room in this villa, maybe someone will come in handy, don't settle for number 4((((((
photos attached!!!
we immediately, without sorting things out, went to the owner's wife... who spoke only Serbian..... with grief in half, we realized that she did not solve anything . . and suggested that we either wait for the owner or go to the agency... well not to wait, we went to "Pylon"..... there, of course, everyone was either busy listening to the claims of residents from other villas...... we waited....we were promised to sort it out... and then they said that the tour operator "Siesta" from whom we bought a ticket knew perfectly well what numbers she was selling..... everything became clear to us....the usual divorce of Slavic tourists....
in the evening the owner came..... who speaks more tolerably in English...... in general, he offered us a room on the first floor without a balcony, i. e. the exit from the room would have been right at the entrance to the villa....well, having looked, we refused.....
then we decided to reconcile ourselves... all the same, the season and rooms of the type were busy..... but the owner turned out to be a normal person... in general, if we also return to Montenegro, then we will come to the same villa, only without agents.......we will order a room from the owner ourselves...... who kindly showed us the rooms that we liked, these are 7 and 11!!!!!
Well, in general, the impression of the country is excellent... we want to return!!! !

A beautiful new 4-storey building. All double rooms overlook the sea, the rest into the courtyard. All rooms have a balcony. We had a very large one with two entrances))) There are 2 chairs on the balcony, a table, drying or ropes are stretched.
The room is large and comfortable. The room had: air conditioning, refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, TV. Also free wireless internet. Hot and cold water all the time.
At first they cleaned every day. But then for some reason they didn’t clean it for 3 days, only toilet paper was reported)))) After our appeal to the office of the receiving party, cleaning resumed)
In general, I liked the villa. And the owner, Alexander, is very friendly.

Thanks. We were told in the agency that there are just regular numbers "double". If it's not, then great. And another question: in principle, it is clear that it is not close to the sea, we are used to walking a lot and do not like to sit in one place, but is it too far to the sea? And where can you eat tasty and not very expensive?

Interested in whether there is a hair dryer, iron or need to take with you? Is there a kettle and some basic utensils (a couple of cups and plates)? I read that some of the rooms have a stove or is it only in the studios? I would be very grateful for any info.
