Gelenka_1, I disagree, waves in the ocean + currents, this is not just extreme, it's dangerous!!! The waves in October are very strong and subside, as far as I know, by January-February. We rested even in November, but it was a lagoon + coral reef on which the waves were extinguished and we swam perfectly, but in other places it was simply forbidden, as it was associated with a risk to life. Therefore, if October, then only hotels in the lagoon (we rested in Chaya Trans, a good hotel, it makes sense to take breakfast + dinner, as the food is excellent).
