And I would go to Tuscany for a start, approximately in the Grosseto or San Vincenzo area (if closer to the sea), from where it is easy to get to Elba or Corsica, an hour drive to Sienna, two hours to Florence, it is easy to get to Volterra and San Gimigliano, to see the Church of St. Francis in Grosseto, where Adriano Celentano and Claudia Mori were secretly married, to see many) make one of the best Chianti wines in the world. It will be quite easy to get to Pisa, and not far from the amazing town of Lucca.
