If you do not know the name of the hotel in advance and you cannot read about it on the Internet, then it is better to take 4 stars. Hotels in Venice and in Italy in general are not very good, Italians especially save on food. In the top three, breakfast can be quite meager. I really didn’t like the Italian service and everyone says so.
