will there be problems with the authorities if the visa is opened 5 minutes before departure?
I didn't get an answer to my question! I do not have time to fly, because the visa is open 5 minutes before my departure! Today there are no more flights to Italy! Until 12 am today I have to cross the border of Italy and fly already over the territory of Italy! In any case, I did not have time for my flight! Can I fly tomorrow on any flight at night or in the morning1 And will I have problems with the authorities of Ukraine and Italy?! Should I file a complaint with the Italian Embassy or the visa department?

Of course, you can write to the embassy outlining all your claims. But the fact that the visa was not issued on time, the consul is not responsible. In addition, many factors could play a role: 1. you didn’t submit your documents on time, 2. high season, 3. you didn’t complete the package of documents, etc. In general, the consul is not responsible for this. Even when they refuse a visa, they do not name the reason for the refusal.
And about the fact that you will fly out a day later, there is nothing wrong with that. You can fly in 3 days.

From the fact that you produce a bunch of questions, there will be no more answers from this. Firstly, you do not give any input data to help you somehow.
1) Are you a citizen of Ukraine? If so, what problems can the Ukrainian authorities cause you? Sit at the airport for at least a month if you can explain to the police that you are not a bum, but just waiting for a flight to Italy
2) Do you have a visa to Italy for 1 day? Although I hear this for the first time (maybe transit tickets are given for a day, but I haven’t come across it). I think not ... In this case, fly whenever you want. Even tomorrow, even the day after tomorrow, even in a week, the main thing is that the crossing of the country (in your case, Italy) should be within the period specified in the visa.
In short, nothing is clear. If you are not a citizen of Ukraine and your legal stay here until midnight, then yes. You will have problems at least from the Ukrainian side. When leaving at the customs control, the computer will indicate that you have overstayed your stay and then the fine will be at least ....
And yet ... customs is of little interest to who prevented you from leaving on time ..

I think that the girl is a citizen of Ukraine (or works / studies there), otherwise how would she get an Italian visa in Ukraine.
Can I ask the author, why exactly before 12 o'clock you have to cross the border of Italy? Although I am from Russia, I have never heard of such a thing, that if you do not cross the border on the day the visa is issued, then there will be problems. This is complete nonsense. And this is true everywhere, even in our country, even in Ukraine, even in Italy.
Your fears are absolutely in vain and you are nervous for nothing.

thanks to everyone for the answers! the most sensible answer is that I can fly the next day and at night on the busiest and most suitable flight for me! about it in the translation agency!))

and yet, ... faced with such a problem for the first time in my life (God forbid anyone like this), I think everyone in my place could get confused where to post their questions and answers! Thanks again Elena25 for your wise advice!!!

Girl, does the translation agency deal with visas? Are there competent people in visa matters? What nonsense.
then, about the lawyer, he will not help you here. In fact, there is nothing to help here. Or are you going to sue the consul?! This is also nonsense.
Why bother, just fly the next flight and that's it. Once again, the consulate / embassy may not report on their actions. And issue visas at your own discretion. There can be many reasons for that. And so that next time there are no such questions, do everything in advance. And you will be happy.

It's my pleasure. I myself often fly and I know what it's like to wait for a visa. Therefore, I do everything in advance :) It's easy to calculate. But I have never flown on the day I received my visa. Therefore, the question about the need to cross the border before 12 o’clock was so strange for me.
Good luck to you.

really some bullshit. visas are not received 5 minutes before departure, what do you mean that the tickets were purchased on the date on which you were already issued a visa IN FACT.
if there is a visa on hand, then what is the problem then ??? fly calmly and that's all.
and listen less to translation agencies. they don't have any relevant information at all.

Now there are options that the consulate is in no hurry with visas. I had a train to Kyiv this evening, there were still no passports with visas in the morning. Weekends and holidays were combined, and the courier service brought me passports at 12 days. Whom to sue, for what, for moral damage?! For spoiled nerves?! A visa gives a corridor, and fly yourself later, don’t continue to rinse your nerves. term of the visa, then another matter.

I think it was about the expiration date of the visa - you must leave the Schengen area before 24 hours of the date indicated as the final date of the visa.

No, it was about a flight to Italy, because. the visa was just opened (as the author of the topic indicated). And if it was the other way around, I think r6g6l13 would correct us.
