Great stay in Netanya
We were in Israel for the first time, from 06/09/14 to 06/18/14, in Netanya. And everyone really liked it. Let's start with transfers from and to the airport. Everything is clear. Without delay. We were met and taken away in beautiful and comfortable cars. All drivers are very polite, helped with luggage, answered our questions.
The hotel is good too. "Park hotel", 3*. Convenient location to the sea and the city center. The room is always cool from the sea breeze. The air conditioner was never turned on. The sea view at sunrise, sunset and during the day is wonderful. All balconies face the sea.
The elevator always works. The water in the room is hot and cold all the time. Plumbing is new, no leaks. The bath is clean, white, without smudges. As well as the curtain in the bathroom. Toiletries are constantly renewed.
The staff cleans the room every day, changes towels, bed linen as it gets dirty, each time makes beds in its own way. And this is done imperceptibly and unobtrusively.
I really liked our breakfasts at the hotel: there were dairy products (cottage cheese, sour cream, yoghurts, cheeses), a bunch of vegetable salads with different fillings, hot dishes - scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and a bunch of different casseroles. There were no only sausages and sausages. But we don't eat it. Coffee and tea are plentiful. There were also cold drinks and various cookies and muffins. Everything is always fresh and in sufficient quantity. I really liked the manager at the hotel restaurant. Attentive and helpful. Always benevolent.
Coffee and tea could be drunk all day free of charge, as well as water for drinking.
The girl at the reception knows Russian well. Very polite, always ready to help in difficult situations.
In general, the entire staff of the hotel is wonderful!
The sea is incomparable! The water is clear, clean and warm. The sand is white, fine, silky. Lifeguards are constantly sitting on the beach in booths and vigilantly watching the swimmers so that they do not swim far. There is little garbage on the beach, a lot of garbage cans. There are free toilets and changing rooms.
The cost of sunbeds and umbrellas is small. We took 1 sunbed and 1 umbrella, and it cost us 300 = rubles a day.
Artificial embankments (such as breakwaters) are made on the sea, parallel to the coast. Therefore, even when the wind blows from the sea, and there is a wave in the open sea, you can enjoy swimming in “calm places”. And nearby, where the sea is not protected by a "breakwater", windsurfers train.
Well organized excursions. Interesting, informative and humorous. Good buses, with air conditioning. I even had to wear warm sweatshirts. The guides explain everything, no one was lost on the road. Everyone was collected at the beginning of the tour and taken away at the end. We were at the Dead Sea (paid tour). But it's worth it. Even a child of 5 years remembered it. The drivers are good. Doesn't get sick on buses. And a free tour to Tel Aviv and the diamond exchange. Wonderful city, many unusual buildings. An interesting tour of diamonds is organized, you can even buy jewelry for yourself. High quality and cheaper than in Russia. Then VAT is returned from the purchase at the airport. (The service operates around the clock).
I really liked the respectful attitude of the local population towards the elderly and children. Free entertainment programs are well organized for them in the evening on the main street. The World Cup was broadcast on the big screen - chairs were specially brought for viewing. There are always places where you can sit and relax in the shade during the day and in the evening to chat with friends.
Lots of outdoor cafes and restaurants. The portions are huge and the dishes are tasty and high quality, surprisingly. As a bonus for the order, they are treated to ice cream. Many waiters speak Russian, the menu is also in Russian. They take orders and serve quickly.
In general, everything is wonderful.
Among the shortcomings: a tube TV in the room, a broken freezer door in the refrigerator (but we didn’t even announce it), and a return flight at 5-20 in the morning (we spent the whole night at the airport with a child. If only adults, then I think that this is not a problem).
