The hotel is located on the road that connects Israel and Egypt, almost on the border with Egypt, from the higher floors you can see the checkpoint between Israel and Egypt. The hotel has a spacious hall with a huge panorama of the mountain - an unusual mesmerizing experience. The whole hotel is very spacious - the lobby, the restaurant, the rooms - everywhere there is a feeling of spaciousness and air. The hotel building rushes up. Below, at the foot of the mountain, there is an unusually beautiful area - green grass, bright flowers, palm trees, blue pools flowing into each other. On the territory there are slides!
Everything in the rooms is excellent - furniture, interior, view from the window. Not all rooms have a balcony. The bathroom has a bathtub.
The beach is across the road through the underpass, almost 100 meters away. The beach is private, equipped, sunbeds. umbrellas, towels - free of charge. There are corals in the sea. There are platforms for easy entry.
Animation is quiet, live music in the evenings.
A bus runs to Eilat every hour, the hotel then returns money for tickets.
An example of comfort, service, discreet sophistication.

In fact, my friends made the decision to stay in this hotel - they wanted to take a break from the bustle of Eilat and enjoy the coral reefs. The hotel is really secluded, the most remote from the center of Eilat, located almost on the border with Egypt.
I have never regretted the choice my friends made for me. The experience of the hotel is amazing!
First, about the territory. It is very big and very green. A kind of heaven on earth - palm trees, a sea of flowers, green lawns, waterfalls, grottoes. Huge pools and views... and the sea and the rocks. In general, spaces that are not typical for Israeli hotels. Moreover, the scale is present literally in everything - in the bright and huge lobby with high ceilings, located as if in a rock, in the restaurant - also huge, very bright and very spacious. All the walls are made of glass, and all around are rocks of stunning beauty. The hotel is literally inscribed in the rocks, and it looks just extraordinary - not only in daylight, but also at night, when the rocks are illuminated by the soft light of spotlights.
The rooms offer a view of either the mountains (these rooms are especially quiet, and those who live in them can admire the goats grazing on the rocks) or the sea. My room overlooked the sea. Beauty is unreal.
I really liked the pool - more precisely, a whole cascade of pools. The pools are very large, with grottoes and waterfalls, and for children - two water slides - an inexhaustible source of children's happiness!
The beach at the hotel, like absolutely all hotels in Israel, is municipal. BUT - the sunbeds and umbrellas on it belong to the Princess Hotel, which means that they are free only for its guests. You can get to the beach either through a small underground passage directly from the pool, or straight from the entrance to the hotel - across the road. Whichever way you choose, walk to the beach no more than 2 minutes. Sun loungers, umbrellas - just enough. There is also a cafe on the beach with quite decent food and soft drinks, changing rooms and toilets are open - very clean, by the way!
It is especially worth noting that the beach "Princess" is part of the Israeli part of the coral reef - a reserve protected by the state. Therefore, you can go into the sea either from the shore, over stones, in places specially designed for this (there are enough of them), or from two bridges that go from the shore directly into the sea. For those who can swim, this option is ideal. As someone who cannot swim, I entered the sea from the shore - the stones are round, sloping, turned by the sea. It is difficult to cut yourself, but slipping is quite, so I strongly recommend entering the water in special rubber "coral slippers" - you feel much more confident that way.
The water is just perfectly clean, transparent as a glass, you can see your feet in small details. And how many fish and corals are there! There are no words to describe this beauty. Our children, having immediately put on masks and snorkels, did not get out of the water for hours - and it was impossible to shout to them. For the first time I saw my children prefer the sea to the pool! They say that they saw needlefish, and sawfish, and clownfish, and stingrays. In general, who just did not see! Delight simply overwhelmed, and stories about marine discoveries were enough for more than one day!
I was a little disappointed by the lack of free wi-fi in the hotel. It could be ordered only for money, and a lot of it - 75 shekels per day (about $ 20). But on the other hand, he catches, they say, even on the beach, and not only in the rooms and hotel lobby. However, I did not check this fact, and decided to live without the Internet for several days.
Well, the last thing I would like to write about. Food. It's something separate. I am accustomed to Israeli plentiful and delicious food. But Princess food is a real restaurant. With an idea, with a theme, you can feel the hand of the chef in everything. We ordered breakfasts and dinners, and it was impossible not to try at least most of these culinary arts. And it was almost unrealistic - the choice is simply huge, for every taste, every preference, every whim. And the desserts. . . Oh, don't talk about them.
All in all, I knew "Princess" was a great choice, but the reality exceeded my expectations.
Yes, it is worth noting that the hotel is not new, that the carpet may have been worn in some places, and a small stain was noticed on the wooden rack for suitcases... But is it really so important?
The tradition of the Princess Hotel, once the best in the Middle East, has remained unchanged, and the corporate identity of Isrotel hotels has added gloss and quality to the hotel.
I definitely recommend.

The hotel is good, but the star rating is clearly overpriced, pulling a maximum of 4 *. And the most unpleasant thing is the theft of staff. So be prepared to miss the clothes, shoes, even cosmetics! In general, the rest is much more expensive than the declared value! … More ▾ The hotel is good, but the star rating is clearly overpriced, pulling a maximum of 4 *. We first came to Eilat for a week. The hotel was chosen by location (proximity to coral reefs), well, by star rating. My experience is a 4* hotel. The kitchen completely satisfied us, it was delicious and a lot of everything. The lack of sausage and meat for breakfast did not bother us at all, and so we managed to overeat. Dinner was well stocked and tasty. The hotel is beautiful, large balconies, the view from the windows is good from any direction, the rooms are large enough, clean. I was surprised that, unlike European hotels, NO ONE of the servants says hello, neither the maids, nor the one who gives out towels at the pool, nor in the restaurant. In short, very unfriendly staff. Not rude, just indifferent. I was also unpleasantly struck by one moment: at 7 in the morning the temperature is already over 30, and the sunbeds on the beach are chained up until 9-00. By the way, for a 5 * hotel, the sunbeds are old and dirty. Sunbeds are rented to anyone for 20 shekels, for hotel guests - free of charge, but if you are late on a day off, you can sunbathe while standing. We did not see any entertainment in the hotel such as discos for a week. So just relax and enjoy the sea. Overall, not bad, but not great. If you go for the Red Sea, then in Egypt 5 * is MUCH better. But we chose Israel not only for the sake of the sea. By the way, we went on an excursion to Jordan, to Petra. They were satisfied. Then for 3 days we moved to the Meridian hotel on the Dead Sea. Although the same 5 *, but the hotel is better. Have a good rest and more positive emotions!

I can only write that the hotel is wonderful. For those looking for a relaxing holiday, it’s better not to find it. But it’s better to go in September, fewer children, quieter. IF BY CAR, THEN YOU CAN HAVE DINNER IN DIFFERENT DELICIOUS PLACES. I love the beach, very close, across the road. This is one of the hotels whose beach is nearby, well, just very close. … More ▾ I can only write that the hotel is wonderful. For those looking for a relaxing holiday, it’s better not to find it. This is one of the hotels whose beach is nearby, well, just very close. , clean and comfortable. Order with a view of the sea and mountains, not the pool. The service is also prompt. For those who are looking for a quiet holiday, without jogging through shops and souvenir shops, this is your hotel. Well, you can get out of the city by taxi.

We are going to go to Eilat to the Princessa Hotel. We choose: mid-February or March. the weather is about the same. What about sea temperature? What is the water like there now? And what will happen in March?
