practically none, it is difficult to call a narrow strip of pebbles 10 m wide a beach. There are a lot of sunbeds, but there is practically no place to put them. And 3 meters away from you, crowds of vacationers are walking. And you feel very uncomfortable. The hotel is old, rather shabby, there is plaster falling off near the elevators, etc. It can be called a disaster that crowds of local Arabs with children drove into this hotel on December 31.2017. If you say that these are savages - do not say anything. And since their children are leading them - horror. They grab food with their hands, throw it on the table, on the floor, throw it at each other, yell. The hotel was not decorated in any way for the New Year. No balls, no Christmas trees - NOTHING! Were in 2016 in Eilat at the Yam Suf hotel. There was a
a chic Christmas tree and the whole hotel was decorated. The air conditioner did not work. It is impossible to open the balcony, because, under the windows there is a promenade, attractions where until 3-4 in the morning there is very loud music, spotlights, screams.
The room itself is not bad, but the door leaf along the perimeter does not reach the box by 2 cm and the feeling that you live behind a curtain. Hearing is terrible! The balcony upon arrival was very dirty, and during the eight days of stay it was never cleaned, despite the request. Appreciating is clearly overpriced - for 8 days they paid 173.000 tr. (half board). Premium room with sea view. The hotel is boring! ! The food is good, but for some reason there are no drinks for dinner - in general, NO !! ! In front of you on the table is a decanter with ice !! ! We walked a lot, the weather let us down a little. I do not want to return to this hotel and recommend it to friends too. Elena.
The territory is not large, but includes 3 pools.
The food in the restaurant was very good. But, since kosher is honored in Israel, there is nothing meat for breakfast. But a lot of vegetables and fruits. A variety of dairy products and cheeses, and they are very good in Israel. And of course, for breakfast, several types of herring (wonderful! ), mackerel and cold-smoked red fish. Variety of freshly baked bakery products (very hard to pass by). Well, dinner is a feast of the spirit. A lot of meat of different types, several types of fish, very tasty and different sauces and of course vegetables and fruits. Well, how not to say about desserts - cakes, mousses, whipped cream, various jellies. In short, you can't lose weight.
The rooms are relatively large and, in addition to the double bed, include a pull-out sofa. All rooms with balcony. They pick up well. Wifi works great in the rooms. Cable TV with 3 Russian speaking channels.
The staff is friendly and fulfills all wishes immediately.
In general, who wants to relax and swim in the warm Red Sea, I advise the Leonardo Plaza hotel.
We flew from TO ICS Travel Group, flight a / c "Ural Airlines" from Domodedovo, departure in the morning, convenient, without delay. We checked in for a flight a day before, so we didn’t spend much time at the airport, quickly checked in our luggage and waited for boarding. Upon arrival at the Ovda airport, after passing through passport control and collecting luggage, we were met by a guide with a sign of the tour operator. He quickly assigned everyone to the buses, and we went to the hotel. The road from Ovda to Eilat takes about 50 minutes - 1 hour, we drove along the border with Egypt, the guide told interesting and useful information about the country and the resort, so the time on the road passed unnoticed.
Hotel: Leonardo Plaza 4 * is located in the center of the resort, on the first line, across the promenade from the beach and the sea. Near the hotel there is an amusement park, a promenade, shops, boutiques, pharmacies, exchangers, a shopping center. The hotel is large, with a beautiful green and well-groomed territory, on the territory there are pools with waterfalls and grottoes, around sun loungers and soft beds, lawns with grass and flowers. The housing is located so that all rooms have a direct or side view of the sea. Below is a huge hall, reception, restaurant, exit to the street and access to the pools, to the territory. The hotel has boutiques and shops, there is a night club "Broadway", where discos and evening programs are held. There is no animation in Russian! There are no people at the disco, it's boring. More interesting to go to the city.
Meals: we had half board, the food is beyond praise! Very varied, everything is insanely delicious, a huge selection of dishes. For dinner - salads, fruits, sweets, soups, fish and meat, pastas, grilled dishes, pastries, you can't list everything. Drinks for dinner only water. For breakfast - cereals, cottage cheese, dried fruits, fresh fruits, nuts, muesli, yogurts, salads, vegetables, herring, pastries, sweets, omelettes, eggs, cheese. From drinks, tea, coffee from a coffee machine, juices, drinks such as Sprite, etc. The restaurant has Russian-speaking waiters, they can tell you if some dish is not clear. In Israel, everyone observes Kashrut, food is kosher even for guests of other nationalities: dairy and meat are not mixed. That is, in the morning for breakfast there are dairy products, but no meat, in the evening it’s the other way around.
Beach: The beach is sandy, there are some pebbles when entering the sea. The water in January is quite cool in the morning, but you can swim in the afternoon. Despite the fact that the beach is urban and right in the center of the resort, it is clean. There are sunbeds, mattresses and umbrellas on the beach, they are free for hotel guests. Towels on cards, a point of issue at the hotel near the pool, it is advisable to take it no later than 17-18 hours. Changing rooms and outdoor showers are available. In general, the beach is good, but it is narrow, there is not much space, considering that it is a municipal beach, and in addition to hotel guests, local residents and others sunbathe there. You can’t leave things unattended, the beach area is not guarded, at the entrance to the sea along the coast there are stones so that the water does not wash away the embankment, so the entrance is on the steps.
Room: Our room was standard, with a side sea view. The room is very large, spacious, clean, bright and comfortable, carpeted on the floor. The furniture is new. The bed is good and huge. There was also a large sofa. There is a table and chairs, bedside tables and a large table with a mirror - everything is standard. Plasma TV. Wardrobe for clothes in the hallway. The room has a tea/coffee maker and a kettle. The bathroom is clean, bathroom with shower, plumbing is new, it works perfectly. The balcony is large enough, table and chairs on the balcony to enjoy morning coffee and sea view.
Service: cleaning was done every day, they took out the trash, made the bed, vacuumed. At the reception, you can ask for a free phone to contact the guide. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and in the rooms is free.
Excursions: to Jerusalem + Bethlehem, I liked it very much! We walked / drove through all the biblical places, saw with our own eyes the Wailing Wall, Golgotha, the stone of anointing and the birthplace of Christ in Palestine. The tour is very rich, interesting, well organized, moving on a comfortable bus. It takes a whole day, lunch is included in the price. A good and competent guide, answered all questions, fascinatingly told. We did not regret it, the tour is worth the money spent.
In general, we were satisfied with the hotel and the rest, despite the small disadvantages with the beach and animation in the hotel.
Very convenient location - both in the city and its own beach with free sunbeds, umbrellas and towels, which is not typical for a city hotel in Eital. The hotel is large, the hotel has a territory - green, not small, well-groomed and beautiful with lawns, swimming pools, sunbeds. We get to our own beach by leaving the hotel territory through the gate to the promenade, crossing, which is immediately on the beach. Great kids club for all ages. The hotel has different categories of rooms, for which services differ - from a standard set to additional free options. The rooms are good quality, neat and clean. The furniture in the rooms and in the lobby is a bit tired - not in terms of shabby, but morally, although the hotel is designed in the Leonardo style, with a touch of antiquity (there is a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci in the hall. The hotel is good - there is everything for relaxation.
Convenient comfortable location (50m from the sea), cozy rooms overlooking the bay (No. 528), helpful staff, internet, food, territory, swimming pool, bathing accessories... ((even more than that, there is a bike rental! )
As for the host country (ICS), there is literally nothing to complain about. Comfortable buses. Clear organization of transfers and excursions.
Highly professional guides. And in the best sense of the word. Not chattering without meaning and stopping, but attentively and respectfully relating to any problems and questions of tourists.
Which is especially valuable on long journeys.
Get real pleasure with TreveLLux.
With a guide named Nikolai (drivers Sergey and Iris), we climbed all the Mines of King Solomon with ease and great interest and repeated the "feat" of the Crusaders in saving the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. )
