Nobody even heard.

Of course I went! A close friend of mine has been their regular customer for several years now and is now in Greece.
They have a good selection of hotels and inexpensive apartments, an attentive individual approach to the client. Real good discounts were this spring for early bookings.

I've been waiting for two days for someone to answer. I myself was wondering what Olympus is.
Now it is clear that there is such an operator. Responsibility for Pachok. She can be trusted.
I don't know anything about this operator. So I can't say anything good or bad.
True, I can say the following - Olympus is not included in the list of the five largest Ukrainian operators in Greece.
It remains to be hoped that it is small, but reliable.
Or - reliable, despite the fact that it is small.
аватар Pachok
Yes, he is small, "home". The owners have good relations and personal connections with the Greeks :)
My friend arrives on 7-8, I don’t know for sure if there will be any questions about Olympus, I can ask her.
HotLine, can you tell me which five are the largest in Greece? MIBS and TPG know who else can be studied for September prices?
аватар HotLine
+ News Travel, Albiz, Mmuzenidis, TezTour, Pegasus. These are the ones who are more.
Most likely more Proland, Tui Ukraine.
And why study? Use spo.com.ua. Everything is there. And Olympus, as it turned out, too.
Why do you need operators? You are a principled independent tourist.

I have a review - it's good that I found this question. We were going to fly with them this summer (we also thought: "small but reliable"), but at the stage of telephone negotiations we had a hitch with obtaining a new passport, so we called them back and canceled everything (the matter did not go further than telephone conversations) . While the passport issue was being resolved - friends advised me to contact Mouzenidis, they say, their planes are newer and better, and they will quickly confirm the availability of seats (Olympus said that "you have to wait a long time, now everything is so packed") - that's how it all happened, and more cheaper by 300 euros :) But a few days later, Lina from Olympus called me back and, in the form of an insane hysterical monologue, shed curses and threats against us, promising us all kinds of heavenly punishments for the fact that we "deceived them, used them", well, just African passions . I wonder if they call everyone back? Probably, this is the "PERSONAL APPROACH TO EACH CLIENT" :)))
If we had any doubts about Olympus, then after this call they dispelled completely, we will never go there again, and we will not advise any of our friends.

to Pachok. Here is an example of tourists with whom you have to work. They conduct "negotiations" when they still do not have a passport. As a result of these negotiations, the tour was most likely booked. That's why the manager was so nervous.
They trust friends who claim that Mouzenidis has newer planes. Not a single operator in Ukraine has its own aircraft. Flights to Greece are generally combined.
And tours are bought directly from Mouzenidis. I have never seen tourists in Mouzenidis's office.
But they put a label on it.
And sometimes such tourists call us and say - "book a tour, we'll drive up right now." And they are offended when we refuse to book before signing the contract and making an advance payment.
аватар Pchiolka
Once again I emphasize that we did not book or sign ANYTHING, we only planned - besides, we called back on the same day! And in general, we are very disciplined tourists, there have never been such situations before.
I understand that you are a professional, but then they asked the opinion of who had dealt with Olympus - and I told how it was. What was there to write - "Yes, they did, everything is fine!"? In any case, a hysterical call with curses cannot be explained or justified.
аватар HotLine
Can you explain to me why the manager needs this hassle and what he hopes for when he makes such calls? Believe me, the vast majority of tour managers are normal, adequate girls striving for a quiet, comfortable job. Such people go to the tour business. And conflicts are expensive. For such work and a corresponding salary, they go to the prosecutor's office, advocacy, merchandising, network marketing, etc.
And I doubted the adequacy of the part of your answer, which is devoted to the incident with the manager, since the rest of the answer was, to put it mildly, a delusion.
I wrote about airplanes.
Regarding "Mouzenidis is cheaper", there is also an argument.
Greece is on fire this season. Early booking, which you wrote about, turned out to be unprofitable. Therefore, it is not surprising that Mouzenidis, to whom you turned later, had a lower price.
I will tell you more. Mouzenidis has NEVER had low prices.
Figuratively speaking, out of 100% of tours sold by us this season to Greece, Mouzenidis accounted for about 5%. Despite the fact that it is a good, reliable operator.
аватар HotLine
Just don't get me wrong. I have great respect for experienced tourists and people who want to understand how our business works.
Sorry if this is a bit harsh in the wording.
аватар Pchiolka
You are just fighting for the purity of the tourist race :)
аватар HotLine
How different can be the truth.
For you, this is a joke.
Now imagine the following. I am a man, director of a travel agency. All the staff working for me are young and not very girls. Lot. How can we interpret your phrase?
But we will do what any intelligent person should do - we will try to understand your point of view.
And you understand ours.
аватар HotLine
Although the girls will probably joke among themselves about how I fight for the purity of the tourist race.

to hotline.
"+ News Travel, Albiz, Mmuzenidis, TezTour, Pegasus.

Thanks, I will study.
"And why study? Use spo.com.ua. Everything is there."
Unfortunately, not all of them - neither Tez Tour nor Albiza in Greece are there. Even earlier, I noticed that Sam, Pans, Gamalia, Yana are fundamentally not represented. And there are very interesting offers.
"Why do you need operators? You are a principled independent tourist."
Throw out the word "principled" and you will be right :)) I am an independent tourist when it makes practical sense. This year there is no point in organizing a tour in Greece on your own. To Italy - yes, to Spain, to island Thailand (as always), but to Greece - no. The main reason is the inability to buy air tickets at a reasonable price. I had an interesting conversation with TUI about this :) The difference between their price for agencies and the price of their own network for tourists is 200 dollars per ticket. Normal commission?
аватар HotLine
Over the past 6 years, they have not issued a single tour from "Sam, Pana, Gamalia, Yana". And not just because my managers don't like the way they work. There was no precedent for this; there was no such case that we did not find a better or equivalent alternative with "ours". Once they were Ukrainian tourist brands. Today they are outsiders of the operator market. Their market share is only decreasing. Draw your own conclusions.
I will not throw out the word "principled" yet, remembering our previous disputes. I don't even want to quote.
Regarding the list of countries. You didn't state the cause, but the effect. "the inability to buy air tickets at a reasonable price" is a consequence of the existing flight program. There are no regular and low-cost flights to island Greece.
About TUI. I didn't understand. Is $200 the difference in ticket prices when only tickets are purchased?
But none of the operators likes to sell tickets. This is not why they buy seats on charter flights. Although there are options.
TUI package tours have one price for their own and not their own. 1-2% additional commission for your own.

"Regarding the list of countries. You did not indicate the cause, but the consequence. "The inability to buy air tickets at a reasonable price" is a consequence of the existing flight program. There are no regular flights and low-cost flights to island Greece."
I know, I'm just stating.
"But none of the operators likes to sell tickets. That's not why they buy seats on charter flights"
And this is understandable, just answering your question, why should I study operator prices for Greece :))
So far I'm leaning towards TPG, but I haven't counted everything yet.
аватар Pachok
Yes, my friend is back. "Aerosvit" broke off the knee - when boarding the plane in Greece, it turned out that 20 people were already sitting in the cabin, who landed in Greece on the way from Kyiv to Bulgaria, the tourists were loaded (there were double tickets for these 20 seats) on board and flew to Kyiv with an intermediate landing in Bulgaria. Who nachudil - the airline or the operator, is not clear.
Pchiolka, and who does Mouzenidis fly?
аватар HotLine
TPG is a good operator.
аватар Pchiolka
Returned - I answer.
We flew with the Greek charter Astra Airlines ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astra_Airlines) on this plane http://www.astra-airlines.gr/files4users/images/fleet_pics/blue.jpg
Before that, we always flew to Greece with Aerosvit and NEVER flew out or arrived on time - the delay always ranged from half an hour to midnight spent at the airport.
And this time - for the first time there and back departure and arrival MINUTE TO MINUTE. Well, and more pleasant little things - a little more comfortable seats, a little tastier food.
аватар HotLine
Didn't understand. Who are you praising now? After all, you did not choose the charter. The charter was chosen by the operator. That's why he's a charter.

Stumbled upon this thread by accident. I can personally inform you that last year I used their services and I do not regret it, because of all the Kiev travel agencies Olympus turned out to be the most adequate (in terms of economy price / quality). The company is small, mobile, with a personal pleasant approach (in relation to me). I was looking for a sightseeing tour and they turned out to be quite "unique", not standard for other companies and very suitable for me in saturation - "Classic Greece" (8 days). I agree with HotLine - none of the travel agencies maintain their own fleet of aircraft and therefore cooperate with airlines on which the quality of your flight depends (that is, the delay in departure and the goodness of the food on board do not depend on the travel agency - they can warn about this in the travel agency). I was lucky - Aerosvitovsky Boeing 737 took off without delay in Boryspil and landed in Thessaloniki. And we also flew back without any problems with feeding (not a French restaurant, but a simple fast food without alcohol - a snack in a three-hour sitting in a chair). Hotels in Greece can be very different for your money, but since my goal was "economy", the tour was not supposed to be super chic
аватар HotLine
It's nice when tourists speak positively about the work of agents and operators. And they are not lazy to do it.
аватар Shandor_i
For my tour "Classic Greece" the host was the Greek company "Olga tour" (you know who the founder is and for what audience the company with that name works in Greece;) ). Usually, upon arrival in Thessaloniki, clients are settled in Halkidiki. in villages with a set of hotels of different classes. But the sea there is good, gentle, and mostly sandy, with occasional pebbles. One of the basic hotels is Dionisios (village of Hanioti on the Kassandra Peninsula). There is a regular bus stop nearby, two supermarkets (they even sell buckwheat for ours :)). In the village there are a lot of taverns and shops with beach and tourist clothes with cheap prices. There are a lot of Russian speakers among both vacationers and servants. If you have any questions about the tour, you can ask me - I will answer.
As for the Olympus travel agency in Kyiv, it’s small, adequate, pleasant to talk to, but they may not know about some features of the tours they sell, so it’s better to ask those who specifically went on a specific tour at least here;) .
