The hotel is located in a beautiful quiet location on the Mediterranean coast. Very picturesque. Hotel with a nice cozy area, excellent cuisine, good rooms. There is a wonderful fish tavern nearby, Rhodes is only 5 km away. We paid a taxi of 6 euros. Everyone scolds the beach, there is a green meadow in front of the hotel, all guests take out their sunbeds and sunbathe, enjoy the sea air, the entrance to the sea is via a pontoon. about 5 minutes to the right there is a good beach, the entrance is free, we went there too.
this is a great economical treshka in a quiet peaceful place with the best taverns nearby and amazing views!! !
I'll tell you about the hotel: it is somewhat modest, but for the money that we paid for the rest, it must be said that it is quite decent and, most importantly, cozy. The room itself is spacious, the beds are comfortable, with fairly soft mattresses. A definite plus, in my opinion. There is no hair dryer, we knew about it in advance, we took two hair dryers, just in case. True, as it turned out later, you can ask for it at the reception. The air conditioner worked properly, but it was somewhat noisy, but these are trifles in my opinion, already at night returning late, we fell on the bed and no longer heard how it buzzes, but in general you quickly get used to it. Well, you can ask at the reception to fix it, but we didn’t bother, it wasn’t important for us. We only took breakfast. The restaurant has a nice waiter Stanimir, a very charming guy who always greeted us nicely and tried to help in everything. There was plenty to choose from: cottage cheese, jams, donuts, oranges, kiwi, sausages, sometimes bacon, boiled eggs, sausages. I really liked cottage cheese with jam, I tried to eat it mostly. After breakfast, we, as a rule, went to sunbathe on the beach - the green lawn of the hotel (that's right), there is no beach, it's better to take something to lie on and sunbathe to the fullest) You need to swim from the pier, otherwise the bottom is all strewn with stones. We liked it, we are lovers of diving, so we took this circumstance positively. After we returned from the beach, we got ready and went to eat somewhere in a tavern or cafe, if you turn right from the hotel, you can find many such cafes, everyone advises the Family tavern, but I liked the one that is a little further away, I don’t I remember what it is called, but it was definitely tastier and the portions are just huge! In the evenings, we hung out in bars) we tried the local ouzo and tsipouro - so-so, I'll tell you! So our vacation was great, however, we didn’t go on any excursions! We decided that next time we'll see the island, and now we'll just enjoy the sea and parties!
Treshka was chosen initially. If someone wants to overpay for the "stars" and pay for hotel advertising companies, then they need to choose something else. For example, next to Lomeniz is the Aldemar complex (promoted network). So tourists from this hotel made their way to our territory to swim on the beach. But even with neighboring guests, there were enough sun loungers (by the way, they are free - a big plus for a 3 * hotel).
The place is quiet, but everything you need is nearby: taverns, a shop (super market), an intercity bus stop, you could often see a taxi near the hotel (or order at the reception). Reception workers, among other things, will give odds to many colleagues from the fives: they smile openly (and not according to the charter) and strive to help in everything. If you do not drive a car or for some reason cannot rent one, you can always go on organized excursions, the choice is quite large. When renting a car, there are no problems with parking, BUT count on your strength - the roads are steep.
The room has recently been redecorated - everything is fresh. And let the plumbing is not the latest fashion, but serviceable. There were no problems with hot water either (sometimes there are such incidents), air conditioning is free, but there is no safe and the Internet in our room was very weak. The absence of a TV zombie (sorry for the slang) also helps to clear the mind of unnecessary information and devote oneself completely to relaxation.
The view of the sea is magnificent, we tried not to close the curtains. Someone writes that there is no dryer on the balcony. In my humble experience as a tourist, a dryer in a hotel is the exception rather than the rule. Beach towels and swimwear on the chairs on the balcony dried instantly. And you can’t wash the rest in the conditions of the hotel, there is a civilized way for this - laundry. Again, I do not understand the complaints about the change of towels from tourists "who have traveled all over Europe. " Do not hang towels, but carefully fold them in the bathroom on the floor - they will replace them, even if the service was not expected that day. Linen was changed for us 3 times in 10 days, I think, at the request, they would have been replaced additionally.
Meals (breakfasts) are relatively modest, but we did not bother. But the food in taverns and snacks on the beach are worthy of praise! There really is a vegetable garden in the hotel, so you will eat the most home-made tomatoes for breakfast? .
The sea is clean, very beautiful shade, at the bottom of the stones. A bridge leads to the water. The pool looks nice but we never used it.
So it turns out that the hotel fully justifies both its stars and the cost.
Of the sights of Rhodes, I remember the most: the beaches (in particular in Kallithea), the nightclubs of Faliraki, the city of Rhodes itself, the valley of butterflies. And in general. Just traveling here is very interesting.
I wish you all good trips and impressions.
For a three-star service level is very good, the place itself is quiet, where the hotel is located, but everything you need is within walking distance. If you carefully read the description of the hotel and know its nuances even when buying a tour, then you will not be disappointed.
