Bed linen was changed every day (apparently, or they were remade very well), towels every other day. Our air conditioner worked well. Safe, wi-fi is available, but paid. On the TV channels of different countries (two Russian). We visited only breakfasts - not much of everything, there was no strong crowd, the food was replenished as needed, although the quality of food with European 3 * hotels falls short (where I was). Good location of the hotel. The only negative is the noise from the road. And with a stunning view of the sea!
Upon arrival at the hotel, I gave my passport, before placing 10 euros there (on the advice of other travelers, those who have already been to Greece and specifically to Rhodes). The check-in was in a few hours, but the money was returned to me - and they gave me a good room; ))
And a few words about Rhodes: 4- (it used to be better).
Pros: stunning views, weather, waves from the Aegean, mountains, constant wind cooled well.
Cons: Dirty pebble beaches, food and everything else is very expensive - Moscow prices, disgusting traffic.
Be careful on the road! Yes, on the sidewalk too. Remember, no one follows the rules of the road! During the ten days of being there 1) I was almost knocked down at a pedestrian crossing - the car stopped half a meter away, 2) I saw how a boy (8-9 years old) was run over by a scooter (one TP drove into the crowd! ), 3) in front of the hotel window two motor scooters collided - one driver flew to the side of the road. Even at a pedestrian crossing I miss units - sometimes I waited a couple of minutes at the center of the road (at a pedestrian crossing) for cars to pass. Motor scooters periodically ride on sidewalks.

Vacationed a few years ago. The feature of the hotel is that it is on the first line, with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Therefore, it is definitely necessary to take rooms with "sea view". True, there is one but: the hotel is separated from the beach by a road, and the locals (and tourists) love to ride motorcycles / mopeds / ATVs, and the noise from the road is very strong.

True, there is one but: the hotel is separated from the beach by a road, and the locals (and tourists) love to ride motorcycles / mopeds / ATVs, and the noise from the road is very strong. You notice it especially at night, you had to close the windows, and in order not to be hot, they turned on the air conditioner.
The room is basic, no frills. But Duc is not a five! So everything is ok.
As for food, breakfasts are at the hotel, and dinners are at the neighboring hotel. There were no complaints about the food: the usual normal breakfasts (eggs, bacon, yoghurts, fruits, tea, coffee), a good choice for dinner (meat, fish, salads, etc. ).
On the beach across the road, we somehow caught dolphins, very close to the shore. It was cool! But mostly we went swimming to the north of the island, where the Mediterranean Sea is already. It, unlike the Aegean, was more calm.
We went on our own to Symi Island, ferry tickets are easy to buy in the port area. We also went to Cape Prasonisi and the ancient city of Lindos (by regular regular buses).

If you go with the goal not so much to "beach" as to see the island, then the hotel is very good: 1) a convenient starting point for trips, there are enough parking spaces around 2) returning home in the evening, walk around the old city 3) airport 15 km. 4) the hotel has a good mini market, if something is forgotten at home - no problem 5) quite tolerable breakfasts and dinners Air conditioning - for a fee.

2) returning home in the evening, walk around the old city
3) airport 15 km.
4) the hotel has a good mini market, if something is forgotten at home - no problem
5) quite tolerable breakfasts and dinners
Air conditioning - for a fee. There is no hair dryer in the room. The rooms are no frills, small. Beds OK. Whom mosquitoes love - do not forget the fumigator. There is practically nowhere to hang swimwear and towels - the problem is solved by buying a rope and clothespins in a minimarket. Despite the constant wind, the humidity is quite high, and everything does not dry quickly.
For a beach holiday, especially for a family with small children, it is not very suitable: although the nearest beach is across the road, it is quite windy and often waves, well, there are no beauties there. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to other city beaches.

If you are not going to sit in the room all day, then this hotel is for you. The hotel itself is neat, the room is clean without surplus - TV (there is an ortho channel in Russian), refrigerator, air conditioning, safe (for an additional fee), bathroom. The staff is friendly. The food is good. The biggest plus of the hotel is its location.

You can walk to the old city, there is something to see. Many restaurants and cafes.

Here is another long-awaited vacation. Greece-Rhodes. Hotel Rhodos Beach (Rhodos Beach), three stars. Here is another long-awaited vacation. Greece-Rhodes. Hotel Rhodos Beach (Rhodos Beach), three stars. I can’t say anything bad about the hotel, clean, tidy, wonderful breakfasts (we only had breakfasts). The small swimming pool, as always, is packed with German tourists, well, they don’t like the real sea. The view of the opposite hotel - "Kypriotis" and its pool was pleasing to the eye, they did not overpay for a sea view. The room is really, as in the picture - white and blue, TV (one Russian channel), refrigerator, air conditioning in the season (from July 5 to September 25) is free. Everything is fine. The old city is very good - narrow streets, authentic houses, old, but very neat old - it is interesting to wander around, see. We went on two excursions - Symi Island (very nice, no more) and Lindos and Seven Springs (I liked it). It is better to go to Lindos by bus, people who have gone there on a boat complained that it is very long and hot. In so this excursion is half a day, so it's not tiring. The food in Greece is amazing. cheap. If seafood is 8-10 euros, but my girlfriend liked it - gyros is like our shawarma, with chicken or beef - a huge amount of meat with potatoes and vegetables is packed in pita bread and all this culinary madness costs 2-2.5 euros + beer for 60 cents, well, consider it cheap and cheerful. And now about the sad - this is the beach near the hotel and in general the beaches on the side of the Aegean Sea. This is a disaster!! ! They are stone, stones the size of a fist, there are constant waves on the sea, neither enter nor exit, nor what coral slippers save. Lying is also problematic, not comfortable. Of course, you can take sunbeds, 8 euros is certainly a pity, but for yourself you will go for any expenses, but unfortunately the umbrellas are so small that one person is still lying in the sun, so the sunbed does not save the situation. In early reviews, they wrote that you can easily walk to the Mediterranean Sea, where there is sand and no waves. It's true - there is sand and no waves, but it's not 10 or 15 minutes to go there in all half an hour. At an air temperature of +50, you don’t really find yourself. And further.....WIND-WIND-WIND - it does not stop, not when, not for anything, just a hurricane. On our side, decent weather was only three days, this is when the wind is calmer and the waves are smaller, and the rest of the time it's a song.....and swan. I read earlier about waves and wind, but somehow I didn’t attach any importance. But in fact, this is a real problem, given that we spend most of our time on the beach and in the sea. You have to go to the other coast - to the Mediterranean - if in Rhodes itself it is much more expensive, but there are wonderful places (we were) these are Filiraki, Kallithea - they are 10 minutes away from Rhodes (2.20 euros) by bus. But there is a gentle sea without waves and sand. Well, everything is like that. Sincerely.

Hotel. All information is mixed.
The windows of the room overlooked the opposite side of the sea. But I would not say that it was quiet - mopeds, cars drive around the clock. Well, the restless Aegean Sea reminded of itself. We slept with an open balcony, only a couple of times covered with a sheet. There were no mosquitoes. The room has two beds, one bedside table, two chairs, a table, a mirror with a shelf, a refrigerator, a TV, a wardrobe with hangers, warm blankets, and no hair dryer. What else do you need for an overnight stay? Clean, no insects - and great. The furniture is shabby but not conspicuous. One Russian channel. Linen and towels (also not new for a long time) are changed every other day, there is information about this in the bathroom. Safe, locked with a key, paid.
My friend's pajama shorts are missing. A day later, they turned to the reception with a question - maybe they took it along with the linen? They called somewhere, clarified the color with us and asked us to come in the evening.
As a result, they gave a package with washed shorts that disappeared and someone's bra (of course they left it there) =)
The wind is really strong. The color of the sea is unreal, moving from bright azure to deep blue. The water is quite warm. Pebbles are large, unpleasant for the feet. There is an underground passage to the beach, but it is near the Belvedere. Sun loungers and umbrellas are paid, but we, as usual, are on towels. The advantage of the beach is that the sunbeds are not placed close to the water, as in Bulgaria, and, therefore, those who like to lie on the rocks do not have to hobble to the sea for a long time =) The pool, the entrance to which from the side of the dining room, is very small and is fenced off from the road by a high fence . Navital melancholy, so they did not use it.
It takes a long time to dry because of the incessant cool wind. Deep into the island and on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, of course, there is no such hurricane.
Breakfast - eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, sausage, canned fruit, yogurt, watermelon, muffin, cookies, cereal.
Dinner at a nearby 4 * hotel - several types of hot dishes and side dishes, soup, salads, vegetables, cold cuts, melon, watermelon, liquor once a week (we found tangerine and strawberry), cake or jelly, very tasty ice cream (4 types) with glaze (chocolate / strawberry / caramel). Once there were king prawns. Drinks for a fee. You sit down, the waitress comes and asks for the room number and what you will drink. A small juice or tea costs 2.8 euros, a bottle of water (enough for about 4 glasses) - 1 euro.
We had an early check out, the day before we warned at the reception about the need for breakfast. On the day of departure, we went down at the agreed time - in the bar there was tea / coffee and 3 cookies each.
There were even 2 books in Russian in the room on the 1st floor, where the folders of travel agencies lie, vacationers leave the books they have read.
In the mini market at the hotel, pay attention to expiration dates. For example, on bottles of body cream, they are re-glued. But the food seems to be fresh.
Hotel guide Anna was only interested in those tourists who bought excursions from her. She answered our first (as it turned out, the only) question without turning her head, immediately switching her attention to someone else. Don't ask any more =)
A friend had a birthday, she was presented with a small bottle of wine and a postcard from the hotel.
City.
Magnets from 1 euro and above. Sunglasses - from 5 euros. There are interesting shops with ceramics and handmade souvenirs. In the old town they are open until 12 at night.
We found a fairly large supermarket on Konstantinou street.
Greeks are friendly, smiling, unobtrusive. And in the evening, for some reason, it was not at all scary to wander through the dark streets.
There are many different cafes and restaurants, for every taste and budget. Lunch cost an average of 12 euros without alcohol. We dined more often at Jason No. 1, but the last time we were unpleasantly surprised - an extra dish was included in the bill.
Since in our country everyone paid for himself, they checked the checks (which is very difficult, because they write illegibly and in their own language). But there was only one such deception.
Russians - every second.
On one of the three streets with restaurants (not far from the hotel, they seem to depart like rays from the monument) we accidentally met a small shop with Greek natural souvenirs - soap, oil, creams, sweets, spices, etc. - at attractive prices. When we came there for the second time, we were presented with a bar of soap. Apparently the hostess herself served us. And both times they were treated to sweets.
Among other things, I remember the Archaeological Museum - many nooks and crannies, stairs and rooms, do not miss a single one.
We walked along the walls of the old city. The entrance is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays, located on the left after entering the steps to the territory of the Palace of the Magisters. Tickets are on sale at the box office of the Palace.
There are no fences on the wall itself, keep this in mind when traveling with children.
The night old town and the embankment with illuminated ships and boats are magical.
Aquarium - interesting, but not enough.
City of Lindos
Bus from the stop at the port of Mandraki. Travel time - 1.5 hours, cost - 5 euros. Picks up more people along the way. All buses have air conditioning, so it's not hot (I wish we had thought of that too. . ). Upon arrival, we split up - someone went on foot, and someone became a donkey rider (5 euros). Walking up to the acropolis is not easy - slippery (!!! ) uncomfortable steps, lack of fences. Donkeys work only in pairs. Therefore, if there is only one person, then you will have to wait for another unpaired person so that you can hit the road. But as the girls said, this version of the ascent also did not bring pleasure - it was scary to hit the wall (or that the animal would slip) and beat off the priests.
6 euro entry.
We dined at the rooftop restaurant on the top floor. Windy but great view of the acropolis and Lindos itself.
Don't forget to find the amphitheater.
We decided to swim in the bay of St. Paul. It was not possible to reach it immediately, they wandered in the narrow streets. The coastline of the bay is small, so we sat down in a cafe. They changed in the bushes, because they didn’t even find a toilet. Although most likely he must have been somewhere =) You can make very beautiful shots in the water near the stones. The water itself is very clear, calm and warm.
Simi.
We bought tickets for the ferry a few days in advance, for which we were lucky - a discount. 17 euro round trip. Departure at 10.00. We arrived at 9, we were loaded into a bus and taken to another pier, outside the old city. First to the island (after all, there is very little time to inspect such beauty), then to the monastery. Just in case, I advise you to take places on the covered deck on the ferry, there are even sofas. But make sure that there is no air conditioner above you.
On the deck farthest from the entrance and closest to the toilets, a huge, middle-aged bartender with the voice of an inveterate sailor makes a magical frappe. I have never come across such deliciousness in the city.
Rodini park.
Bus 12 with the inscription on the board Rodini express from the port of Mandraki. 1 euro one way. You yourself will never guess where to get off, so ask the driver to kick you out at the right stop (there is also a church nearby). Drive 15-20 minutes. From the stop, go in the direction of traffic, cross the road, a little straight past the restaurant and here is the park. I don’t know how big it is in different directions, we only walked along the river from above and right by the water. Inhabitants - geese, peacocks, huge fish. And not a single person. If you dream, it may seem that you are in a fairy tale or a horror movie =) Ancient ruins, waterfalls, flowers, fogs, eucalyptus trees. . And very clean. Even the photos are unreal.
I read somewhere that the park will be interesting only in free time for lovers of antiquities. Not true. It is very beautiful, calm, unusual, and it will be a great addition to the impressions of the island. We left from the same stop where we arrived. On the same bus. But we had to wait 30 minutes.

Monte Smith.
We went there on foot. It turned out pretty close. Stadium, amphitheater with three ancient seats, acropolis. Beautiful and impressive.
Now I love Greece on a par with Spain.

In the room on the 1st floor, where the folders of travel agencies are, vacationers leave the books they read, there were even 2 in Russian. They didn't ask anything else =) It was a friend's birthday, she was presented with a small bottle of wine and a postcard from the hotel. City. Magnets from 1 euro and above. Sunglasses - from 5 euros. There are interesting shops with ceramics and handmade souvenirs. . Walked along the walls of the old city. City of Lindos Bus from the stop at the port of Mandraki. We dined at the rooftop restaurant on the top floor. . We arrived at 9, we were loaded onto a bus and taken to another pier, outside the old city. But I had to wait 30 minutes. http://www. ando. gr/eot/eng/info. htm Monte Smith bus and ferry schedule is constantly updated. We went there on foot. It turned out pretty close. . Stadium, amphitheater with three ancient seats, acropolis. Beautiful and impressive. Now I love Greece on a par with Spain.

Very good location - on the one hand, it is the penultimate one in the first line of Rhodes (from the Aegean Sea), so it is relatively quiet. On the other hand, it’s about seven minutes walk to the disco street, a little more to the Port, the Old Town and the bus station.
The beach is pebbly, but there are no corals, so you don’t need slippers, but if your feet suddenly feel uncomfortable, they cost 4-5 euros in supermarkets at hotels. Fans of sandy beaches can easily get to the beaches of Faliraki by rented car or taxi (25 minutes) or by bus (comfortable Mercedes run from the bus station every half an hour until late in the evening, ticket 2.2 euros).
In general, it makes no sense to sit in a hotel - there are a lot of picturesque places on the island (and not only by the sea, but also in the mountains, one Mussolini dacha is worth something), beaches, by the way, the Old Town is much more beautiful in the evening.
It is more profitable to buy sea excursions at the port, sightseeing tours of the island are nothing at all - a continuous advertisement of shops and "unique liquors" (at least from Pegasus) - it is much more interesting to wander / drive yourself, after having familiarized yourself (at home) with the help of the Internet with the history of the island.
Feel free to rent a car, if there is still heavy traffic in Rhodes itself, but practically without traffic jams, then outside the capital of the island there is generally grace, mostly tourists drive, look for sights on the maps and therefore are in no hurry) Yes, and a few of them. The locals are willing to show you the way.
Yes, about food. Portions in the cafe are really huge) but very tasty - so those who are on a diet, be careful)
