The location is very good in the center of the tourist village of Kolymbia and not far from the beach, only 5 minutes walk. There is also a second beach, which is a little further, 15 minutes walk, at the end of the eucalyptus alley. When there were a lot of people on the first beach, there were almost no people on the second one. In the morning we went to the beach, swam in the sea, and in the afternoon we returned and sat by the pool, in the evenings we walked around the village. The village itself is very lively: cafes, taverns, restaurants, bars, shops, souvenir shops, etc. , in general, there is where to have a good evening. Once a week, various events, Greek evenings, competitions were held near the pool. Wifi is free in the hotel but only in the lobby, not in the rooms.
The island of Rhodes itself is rich in history and it is impossible to recognize and visit all the sights at one time. Therefore, we plan to return here again. I recommend this hotel to everyone, it fully corresponds to its category, in many ways even better.
Were very impressed with the food. Large selection, always something different, sometimes theme nights are arranged. And, most importantly, delicious!
What else pleased was the themed evenings near the bar. Often Greek evenings, karaoke evenings, and live music evenings are also held here! Didn't have to be bored!
Free internet only in the lobby, it was disappointing that the air conditioner did not work in the lobby, it was difficult in the extreme heat.
Also in the hotel lobby is a billiard table, as well as various board games.
The hotel is well located, there are many small shops around, as well as various taverns, bars, cafes. And what is not unimportant, it is also not far to go to the sea. Approximately 400 meters. There are two beaches: one is small, in the form of a bay, sand (no stones). And the second is a pebble beach, everyone can choose the one they like best.
I was very impressed with the quality of the service staff, everyone is very friendly, sociable, and the guys in the kitchen, and the cleaners, and the girls at the reception. Always ready to help.
In general, the rest is very satisfied. The days of rest flew by quickly, but as they say, all good things end quickly : ) We will definitely visit Rhodes again!
The territory is large, a huge pool, near which we spent time during the day, as it was very hot to go to the sea. The sea is 8 minutes walk from the hotel. There are 2 beaches to choose from, pebble and sandy 100 meters from it. Near the beach there is a wonderful fish tavern "Lemonaki". I highly recommend, there is a menu in Russian and Russian-speaking staff.
The village itself has many cafes with live music, sports bars and souvenir shops.
The rest was wonderful, the weather was just gorgeous, and the sea is insanely warm. We visited many places, both on excursions and on our own in a rented car.
The hotel is located 35 minutes from the airport, in the village of Kolymbia. Very cozy village, with many taverns, shops and bars. Also in the village there are bus stops from which you can get to Rhodes or the village of Faliraki, the most party place in Rhodes.
I liked the hotel very much, quite a large area, it has its own swimming pool, football field, there is even a dance floor. There are no complaints about the rooms, well, if only about the bathroom, it’s a little not thought out, constantly after a shower there is a small puddle of water on the floor. And everything is just fine.
Sometimes in the evenings they arrange a Greek evening, musicians and dancers come, perform Greek folk songs and dances. Sometimes there is also a karaoke night. The hotel has Russian-speaking staff who will always help you and go to a meeting.
The food is very good, varied. There are always several types of meat to choose from, as well as fish and sometimes seafood, but most of all I liked olives and Greek feta cheese, I tried it for the first time at the hotel.
The island has many attractions, medieval castles, ancient acropolises and a large number of protected areas, such as the Butterfly Valley and the Seven Springs. We rented a car for 3 days and drove around the whole island, we also took a separate tour of Rhodes, as it was very interesting to learn about the history of this city. I think the only disadvantages are a little overpriced, although maybe it seems so to me because of our “smart” ruble exchange rate.
I advise all outdoor enthusiasts to visit this island, I assure you that you will be satisfied.
The hotel in which we rested has 3 stars and fully corresponds to them. Good food, not much variety, but quite tasty cooked. For breakfast, 2 types of omelettes, beans, mushrooms, egg croutons, bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, milk and cereal. For dessert, muffins (vanilla and chocolate), nutella, honey, yoghurts (plain and fruit), oranges and canned peaches. Of course, plus bread, buns, jam, butter in individual packages. For lunch there was always a Greek salad, separately vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, boiled carrots, olives), tzatziki sauce (delicious! ), pasta, potatoes, rice, eggplant, fish, meat, several sauces. For dessert - watermelon, melon, pastries. For dinner, almost the same with some changes... I don’t remember. All inclusive (until 22:45) includes beer, wine, suma (Greek moonshine) with alcoholic drinks, cocktails from 8 pm. In general, it's okay.
The pool is not very big, but quite good. There is always cheerful music playing around the pool. Saturday Greek evening. But since our hotel was located in the center of the town of Kolymbia, we often walked and walked along the main street of Eucalyptus Alley (a very picturesque place) and visited various bars. Cleaning is on time: linen is changed every day and every three days. The island of Rhodes deserves a separate review. Be sure to travel it, and not just sit in hotels! And you will pay less attention to some shortcomings in your hotels and you will learn and see a lot of interesting things. My family and I went on excursions. And it’s more comfortable in terms of independence from the vehicle (I still have enough steering wheel at home) and the organization is good (I sat down and drove off without worrying about anything). And of course, I want to hear about everything, but in more detail. Very satisfied with the rest, excursions and the hotel too! )
As a result, a very good choice for a budget holiday with a good location, good food and clear sea.
There are few rooms, but inside is clean. I don’t know how it is in other rooms, but the three of us lived in one and did not crowd. Those. a lot of places. There is a pool and even a children's pool, which surprised. Usually in such hotels you will not find even a small paddling pool))). There is even a kids club. Waiters work in the restaurant-dining room. All are young, so there were no problems. Everyone is very polite and fast service. The bar is the same. Cool beer, by the way. Yes, some alcoholic drinks are available free of charge at the bar. But you yourself understand that the quality is not always excellent) By the way, there is a Zeus store right next to the hotel. There you can buy something more tasty and classic for normal money. I wouldn't say prices go up. On the island in supermarkets everything is the same, in general. Yes, if there is someone at the hotel this summer, be sure to say hello to Rafaela from the reception. Very nice girl, speaks Russian and is always ready to help. We hope to return here again, but not this year, unfortunately. I think we will go to Cyprus in the summer. I want something new.
Just creepy! ! !
In order not to write a lot, I shot a video where I tell and show everything in detail.
