Arriving at the hotel at 21:30 we were given a room on the first floor. In addition to the fact that it did not match the photos on the site, many more disappointments awaited us.
With mold on the walls, not only the bathroom, but also the living room. The room smelled terrible and had a general unpleasant feeling of dirt.
We turned to the man at the reception (who apparently is the owner of the hotel) with a request to change the room. He offered us a room that already looked like the offer in the photo. For an additional fee of 160€, allegedly including tax for three people. Although in fact the tax in Greece is paid PER ROOM, that is, he wanted the amount from us 3 times higher. The new room was cleaner, with a separate kitchen and a separate bedroom.
There was sand on the floor of the new room, black hair and dirt on the bed. Towels and bedding for our child were not given to us, the staff went to bed.
A little later, we noticed holes in the walls in the hallway and shower room, which are plugged with tissue paper or toilet paper.
TV practically does not work, shows intermittently only 3 local channels.
We did not find the remote control for the air conditioner. The next morning we found out that air conditioning is for a fee.
Having paid 50 € for the remote control, turning on the air conditioner at full power in cool mode with a temperature of 16 degrees at night, we realized that the air conditioner was not working, it was blowing but not cooling. Looks like it's out of freon.
The owner of the hotel is completely in no mood to troubleshoot, but only tries to cash in on basic amenities such as cleanliness and comfort of guests.
This holiday turned into a torment for us. I would not recommend Beach Break to anyone. Apart from a good location right on the beach, there are no advantages.
