A bank statement is needed (the Greek consulate accepts deposits)! The sponsorship letter (for the husband) was written by hand last year and was NOT CERTIFIED by a notary (in case the family travels together). The husband, apart from the questionnaire and the photo, did not provide anything else. A certificate from the work of one of the family members is required.
