We watched this hotel as part of an info tour in May 2011.
My personal impressions of the hotel:
located across the road from the sea, to the beach you need to go to the left of 100 meters. The beach is narrow, purely urban. The hotel itself is a 2-minute walk from the center of Agios, where there are enough bars, there are two good nightclubs Alexander and the second, on the contrary, Puerto. In general, the city is not boring, there is something to do. According to the hotel, purely urban. Rooms for 3 * no more. Economy option for little money. I advise you not to initially calculate something ah. The hotel has a lot of both young people and families with children. Although not for those and not for those, there is nothing special from the infrastructure there. All entertainment in the city, as I wrote earlier. Surely you bought into the all-inclusive concept, but apart from normal food, you will not get anything else. Prepare money for the air conditioner, the remote control costs 5 euros per day. Wi-Fi is also paid. The minibar is free to use, but it is empty. That is, you can buy something of your own and put it there. There are no safes in the rooms, only at the reception, 12 euros per week. Have a good rest and remember: how much you paid for this hotel - exactly how much you will get from it!

We want to book a family room in this hotel, but tour operators do not provide such rooms, only standard ones, judging by the reviews - it’s better not to go to the standard, this hotel has good family rooms only.

Today we flew from Agios Nikolas, a chic, beautiful city, the best in Crete, if we return to this wonderful island, then it will be to Agios Nikolas, but by no means in REA.

This is a two-room suite with a gorgeous sea view, a TV, 2 air conditioners, a refrigerator, a kitchenette, a sofa, and a bedroom with a double bed. After reading the previous reviews, my husband and I secured ourselves and wrote a letter to the hotel, asking for a good room with a kitchen, to which we were told that such a room would be provided to us for a surcharge of 40 euros. If you arrive as a 4-room, you will be provided with a similar seed room at no extra charge.
Even living in such a room, we could not help but notice that the hotel is very abandoned, old, there are a lot of flies and mosquitoes in the dining room, it is not pleasant to eat there. We only had breakfast there, although the hotel is all inclusive. Once we went down for dinner, there was a very long queue, after which we went to the tavern.
For the entire period of rest, they never washed the floor on the balcony, the tiles were very dirty. Air conditioning did not work well (5 euros per day).

1. Take mosquito repellant
2. Pay for a room with at least a sea view, or better - a family room.
3. Take hygiene products with you, the hotel provides only a small piece of soap of not the best quality.
4. Take beach towels
