we lived in Malia beach hotel 4 * All Incl. Just the golden mean, the entrance to the sea is normal, a large green area, we took Front sea view, I liked it. The money was spent on renting a car, traveling around the island, even going to Gramvuzu, very scary, but unforgettable, also Santorini, new fur coats. The price of the hotel is quite small, the quality of service is a solid 4. We did not regret anything, we will return to Crete again.

I would recommend Royal Blue, it is newer and closer to the airport. But if you are flying not to Heraklion, but to Chania, then Pilot Beach will be closer.
