We rested in Messongi Beach 3 *.
I will say right away that Russians do not like this hotel. It is designed for Europeans. Animation in all languages except Russian. Therefore, "ours" are unhappy. Every evening a different entertainment. There are slot machines, a disco. For children there is a great playground.
If you want more comfortable rooms with a TV, then ask the tour operators for such. They are (with new furniture), but in small quantities and for an additional fee. But mostly - ordinary, without TVs, air conditioners and mini-bars.
Breakfast - monotonous: eggs, 2 types of sausage, cheese, yogurt, cake and buns. ALL. Be prepared for this. Foreigners are satisfied with everything, but Russians are not.
Dinner - a wide variety of everything. Drinks for an additional fee.
Personally, I was satisfied with the food.
Pros:

- a large beautiful area with several pools. Near the hotel there are many cafes where you can have a bite to eat and spend the evening. Greeks are very hospitable.
- good climate, although we had 2 days of rain and for September the weather was cold according to the locals.
- The beach is full of all kinds of water sports.
Minuses:
- the entrance to the sea is unpleasant, pebbles. You need to go to the left, almost to the territory of the beach of the neighboring hotel and there is a normal entrance to the sea.
- Housekeeping staff leaves much to be desired. Never bothered with cleaning. But here the layers of dust from previous tourists were not wiped off at all (although this did not bother us, but we watched whether they wiped it or not - they didn’t wipe it for 2 weeks, although the maids go with a bag of chemicals for cleaning).
- coffee is disgustingly prepared even in cafes. Normal Cappuccino could not be drunk, they bring anything, but not Cappuccino. We were told that somewhere in the mountains in the village tourists drank wonderful coffee. We failed.
We rode on a yacht, went to Kerkyra (you can take the bus yourself) and around the island. Those who have rights can rent a car and drive around the whole island (it is tiny, but beautiful).
The guide advised the Russians to go to the Grecotel system.
But we had a good rest in this hotel.
