We rested with my family at the Messonghi Beach hotel in June 2015. We have been coming to this hotel in Corfu for the second year. First of all, we, of course, like the kitchen! For a 3-star hotel, the food is simply gorgeous, always varied, seafood every day, there are even oysters. Everything is fresh: several meat options, cheeses, salads, fresh vegetables and fruits, and sweets. . . MMM. . . for a child it's just heaven, have time to watch!! ! Several types of ice cream, soft drinks, juices, hot drinks. And in the bar on the ground floor and by the beach there is also an all-inclusive system. And there you can taste locally produced alcohol without restrictions. The husband is happy, in a word. There is even a mini-water park for children. True, the trouble with the Internet is that Wi-Fi is paid everywhere. But we found a cafe near the hotel, ordered excellent Greek coffee there and sat as long as we liked.
There are mini markets, souvenir shops, even a Lapel leather shop on site. But our separate guides Maria and Elena suggested that you can go to the store, which is located on the island and which is much larger than the hotel store, for free !!! ! I could not resist, although we did not plan such purchases, I still bought a leather jacket , which I had dreamed of for a long time, they also looked after my husband, but decided that next time we would definitely return and get a new thing.
And our hotel is a real city that is in full swing, lives to the fullest. I can not fail to note the excellent beach, large, sandy, with small pebbles. Sooo comfortable. There is also a snack bar on the beach where you can refresh yourself if, for example, you didn’t have time to have lunch or breakfast. The range of these so-called light snacks is simply huge, I personally do not find much difference from lunch in the main restaurant. But neither you nor your child will definitely remain hungry. I have a 7-year-old Svetochka, she is picky about food, but she tries the local cuisine with pleasure. And how happy she is with the sea slides and pools... no words. In addition, there is also water animation for children, and competitions and games are organized in the evening. Adults don't get bored either. In short, I highly recommend this hotel!
