The hotel has its pros and cons. pluses it is a beautiful and clean sea. Very suitable for swimming with children or for non-swimmers, as the depth starts about 100 meters from the shore. lovely little park with palm trees. from the room close to the sea will not pass even a minute. On the first day we took sunbeds but practically did not lie on them.

On the first day we took sunbeds but practically did not lie on them. and then refused altogether. well, it's an amateur. the food is normal and for those with a sweet tooth is generally excellent, as the desserts are very tasty. out of 7 days 4 days in the evening there were cultural programs at the beach bar. The room has a TV and a Russian channel RTR. the air conditioner is quiet. in general nature and the sea and the weather were excellent. now about the cons. the biggest is very hard mattresses on the beds from which the back was very sore. we were in a two-story building on the ground floor with a large terrace and sea views. at night the room is full of mosquitoes. were eaten away, and especially the child.
At night, lawns are watered very loudly. woke up even from such noise.
the lawns are full of wasps during the day. 5 times they bit me a couple of times a child and a husband 4 times. but who can sleep on hard mattresses, I advise you to go to rest and do not forget to buy something from mosquitoes.

Delfinia is an ideal place for families with children. There is a round paddling pool, the second one is larger with a drop of up to 1.5 meters and of course the sea. The beach is 3 meters of small pebbles, then sand. You go 10 meters - knee-deep water, 20 meters - waist-deep, etc. Vacationers are located in the water in groups at different depths, no one interferes with anyone.

You go 10 meters - knee-deep water, 20 meters - waist-deep, etc. Vacationers are located in the water in groups at different depths, no one interferes with anyone. An air mattress is very useful, there are practically no waves and it is convenient to sunbathe on the water. Sunbeds are paid - 2 euros. The territory is green, right next to the beach begins a lawn, where you can sit either in the sun or in the shade of palm trees and olives. Be sure to bring your own beach towels, shampoo and soap. This is the problem with the hotel. The air conditioner in the room works well. The room has a small empty fridge and TV. The internet does not work well, there is no internet in the room, but there is a bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Safe in the room -zadop. fee-3 euros per day. In short, the Greeks squeezed in as best they could. But everyone is friendly, smiling, greeting you at every step. Food, given the crisis, is normal. Breakfast is the most basic, dinner is quite varied. For dinner - all drinks for extra. fee-beer-3.5 euros, water-2 euros for 1.5 liters, wine-4.5 for 0.5 liters. Be sure to buy drinking water / in a supermarket 150 meters from the hotel, a package of water for 6 bottles of 1.5 liters costs 1.7 euros /. Very good watermelons - 0.4 euros per kg. Rent a car, rented a Renault Scenic for 6 people for 3 days. All the pleasure cost 300 euros with insurance and gasoline / gasoline costs 1.6 euros per liter. I don’t know how the price has changed in recent days, we returned on July 24th. No protest demonstrations were noticed on the island, everything was quiet and calm. It was only a week that the scavengers were on strike, but we didn’t climb the garbage heaps, we had enough other excursions. Of the excursions, I recommend a sightseeing tour with a stop in Kerkyra and Paleokastritsa - 70 euros. But it's better to go around on your own. Cool beach-Issos Beach-solid sand 20 minutes drive from Moraitika, where the hotel is located. In the south, in Kavos, there is a youth "zone". In the north, in Acharavi and Roda, there are spacious beaches with coarse sand, there are waves, the wind blows, the water is colder. In short, I recommend Corfu to everyone, it's better than summer in Moscow.

Rested at the Delfinia Hotel (Corfu, Moraitika) in July 2008. Not bad, but there are significant MINUSES. Firstly, the beach is NOT SAND, but rather LARGE PEBLES (tourists are misled on all sites). There is indeed sand, but on the seabed, and you still have to reach the sea and enter it, which is very unpleasant if there are no beach slippers.

Secondly, the hotel has its own boiler room, NOT HAVING A SOUND PROOFING BOX. The loud roar of the units is carried throughout the territory 24/7 (including at night) with short breaks (for 15 minutes). Double-glazed windows do not save. It is not possible to change the room during the high season, and the roar can be heard in most of the rooms. So either stock up on earplugs, or get used to it, or look for another hotel.
Thirdly, IN VIOLATION OF THE RULES OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM, THE HOTEL ADMINISTRATION REQUIRES THAT TOURISTS CHECK OUT THE ROOMS NOT AT THE GENERALLY ACCEPTED CHECK OUT HOUR (12-00), BUT AT 11-00. Thus, a whole hour of legitimate paid rest is stolen from tourists.
Fourthly, the dishes in the restaurant are washed poorly. It's hard to find a clean plate.
The PLUSES include a large and very well-groomed beautiful territory, many plants, high-quality food (although not very diverse, but this is typical for most hotels in Greece, even luxury), the cleanest sea and beautiful views, good location (olive groves, a quite civilized place - the pretty village of Moraitika, many taverns and shops with not only Chinese, but also rare local goods, reasonable prices, the opportunity to walk in the mountains, a reasonable distance of residential buildings from the highway - about 150-200 meters, a bus stop to large centers of the island - Corfu town and Kavos - near the entrance to the hotel).

The hotel in general is ok. The food is good, no frills, fruits are enough. The rooms have everything you need for life. Air conditioning - centralized, include intermittently. The pool, in our opinion, is medium in size. Territory well-groomed. But the beach! It is very narrow, you have to put sunbeds close enough to each other, and even across the beach there is a "promenade" path of the entire area, along which curious vacationers are moving in a continuous stream literally 50 cm from your face.

The entrance to the sea is small pebbles, then dense sand with rare algae. 50% of the guests at the hotel are our compatriots at the age of "well over 40". In general, we had a good rest on the island, but we will not go to this hotel again.
