The sea is warm, the beach is pebble sand, I liked it very much !!! ! In the hall there is old worn-out furniture of the 1970 model, on the floor in the hotel there is a dilapidated coating that causes disgust! There are cockroaches in the bathroom. It is impossible to call the restaurant where we ate, because there were tables without tablecloths and napkins in the room, the whole atmosphere is primitive.

It is impossible to call the restaurant where we ate, because there were tables without tablecloths and napkins in the room, the whole atmosphere is primitive. There are a lot of staff, but they are all busy registering visitors, and only two serve guests, you can’t wait for soaring orders. They dined in an even more deplorable institution, antediluvian tables and chairs, there was nothing on them at all! Entertainment: 2 parties on the beach in ten days. There is no organization of leisure! The room was cleaned every day perfectly, toiletries replenished daily. The room is good but the bedspreads are dirty and the curtains are torn. Administrators are friendly and helpful. They flew away at 7 o'clock for breakfast, a bun and tea, there was not even butter. Conclusion.......
check into nearby hotels. The warm calm sea brightened up the vacation, the prices are inconsistent with the services provided, a triple with a minus and the price is like that of a five !!!! !

Rested in June in Corfu, in Cordu Dassia Chandris. Withered 4 stars, but in fact it is 3 - 3+. Long flight, check-in was only at 14:00, I had to wait, but the champagne offered to guests as a welcome gesture smoothed this expectation) The room got a clean, neat balcony overlooking the road, the mountain was visible somewhere from the side, but it's not so bad . Nevertheless, everything you needed was available - a small refrigerator, a hair dryer (this is a very important point for me), a TV, air conditioning, there was even a place for a safe. True, the neighbors complained that they allegedly had a ventilation system next to the room - it interfered with sleep. But here, as they say, whoever is lucky. I’m not picky - everything suited me) They fed deliciously, every day they gave Greek pies for dinner (it’s baked on a large sheet and everyone can cut it into pieces) - this is my weakness - with tomatoes, with cheese and greens, with meat... very tasty. Hearty breakfasts - here you have several options for standard scrambled eggs everywhere, and muesli / cereal / popcorn / yogurts, fruits, desserts. Pancakes with orange jam very nothing for breakfast. The hotel stands on the first coastline - so I had to "get" to the beach. . 2-3 minutes. Pebble-sand beach, sun loungers are free for us (pleasantly pleased), the water is clean, warm, small fish swim near the shore. The overall impression is positive, just a little gloss, or something is not enough. But I think, over time, they will repair / tint. Quite comfortable to stay.

A mid-level hotel located on the first coastline with a large green lawn on which you can put sunbeds and a huge beach. The beach is pebble, the entrance to the sea is pebble.
The hotel itself is not new, like most Corfu hotels, but cozy, with good cuisine and a panoramic restaurant. The choice of dishes is large, everything is delicious, for a four, very good. The territory is stretched along the sea, a lot of old trees, old olives. But there is no special shadow, because the trees are trimmed and planted infrequently.
Nearby is the second hotel of the chain - Corfu Chandris 5 *, where you can walk and attend evening events. There is no fence between the hotels and it is not clear where one ends and the other begins. The spa center is located in Corfu Chandris 5 *, for two hotels, free of charge.
Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the lawn overlooking the sea. We used basically just the balcony door, walked out of the room and onto the beach.
The hotel is suitable for a relaxing quality holiday for all categories of tourists.

We took a farm room, it's not very convenient that it's two beds, not one big one, but that was the only negative. The food is very good, we took breakfast and dinner. For breakfast there were always pastries, yogurts and juices, and dinners pleased with the variety, only drinks for an extra charge. The beach itself is sand with small pebbles, towels were given free of charge, very convenient. And, it was also very important for us, near the village, also called Dassia, we went for a walk in the evenings, there are a lot of all kinds of local taverns and cafes, you always want to try the local cuisine, came off. We are planning to go there this year. The agency said that there were some changes. Hopefully it won't affect the price too much.

We went in August 2013 with my husband on about. Corfu. We are a young active couple, so the main criterion in choosing a hotel for us was the proximity of an active village, so that there was somewhere to go out in the evening and the city of Corfu, which we dreamed of seeing, and, of course, we wanted a good-quality hotel.
We stopped our choice at the Dassia Chandris hotel in the village of Dasya.
First of all, I want to share my impressions about the island itself. We want to go back there again and will definitely do it next year. The island is amazingly beautiful, green, rich in historical heritage. It is worth renting a car and driving around. The capital of the island - Kerkyra, left an indelible memory! It is better to see once than hear a hundred times.
I liked the Dassia Chandris hotel. Located on the first line, the sea is fabulous. The beach is sandy, there are some pebbles when entering the sea. The territory is green, many olive trees. The proximity of the village is very convenient, in the evening you can take a walk and sit in a tavern.
Our room was small, cozy, overlooking the sea, but they only came to spend the night, because there is something to do in Corfu! I want to highlight the work of the staff, friendly, benevolent. They do not speak Russian, but you can explain yourself in school-level English. The exception is the Russian-speaking girl Olga at the reception. The hotel corresponds to its 4 *, good value for money
It is very important that there is a bus stop near the hotel, from where you can get to Corfu. Buses run frequently. I advise you to go both during the day and at night, as the city has its own magic both day and night!
The rest was wonderful, we want to return to Corfu again!

The hotel is not bad, there is only one big "BUT". This is the side called "mountain view". In fact, this is a view of the road, and Mount Pantokrator will be visible to you only if you hang over the balcony railing and turn your head to the right. But, even if this mountain was not visible at all, okay, but the noise constantly standing over the road (by the way, a small road) is something.

In fact, this is a view of the road, and Mount Pantokrator will be visible to you only if you hang over the balcony railing and turn your head to the right. But, even if this mountain was not visible at all, okay, but the noise constantly standing over the road (by the way, a small road) is something. Actually, when we chose a room, we knew about it, but the travel agency manager said that the road was narrow and there were few cars. And I also thought to myself that during the day we would still not be in the room, but at night everyone was sleeping. How wrong I was! They don't sleep. Never. Moreover, motorcycles and scooters rush along the road at night, of which there are a myriad. It turns out that the Italians specially come here to drive on the night roads, they have such entertainment... You can only sleep with the balcony closed, if it suits someone, then you can live here. But this did not suit us categorically. So we decided to move to the "sea view" side. There was only one room available on the second floor. It's good that you asked to see it first. It was a room overlooking. . . the roof of the restaurant. Big roof like that, right under the balcony. Well, somewhere in the distance was the sea, on the horizon. But the most interesting thing is that there is no silence here either. Near the restaurant there is some kind of hefty-sized unit (either a ventilation system, or a water maker, or all together) and tediously buzzing. And this "pleasure" is building 20 euros more per day. Of course, not the whole "sea view" buzzes like this, but only the right (if you look at the sea) part of the hotel. Politely giving up the pleasure of contemplating the roof of the restaurant, we went to meet our guide. A nice girl solved our issue by moving to the Corfu Chandris hotel, also a "four", on the same first line, located nearby. Both hotels are a single complex. But in Corfu there is no "mountain" view. It was built later and the local feature - the road - has already been taken into account. The "sea view", by the way, here is also 20 euros more per day, although Kiev travel agencies sold this hotel for more. As for the food - it is the same in both hotels. I will not dwell on it, because. everything can change by the new season. The beach at the hotels is common, large, and the beach here is the best of all that we have seen on the island. The beach includes not only small pebbles, but also a fairly large and very comfortable lawn, where you can sit in the shade of olives and away from beach noise. The sea was just awesome - very warm, very clean, very calm. Again - nowhere on the island of such a sea, we have not found. There is a very smooth decrease in depth, but not so smooth as to get bored in search of "big water". In addition, there is already sand in the sea (I don’t know how it turns out like that there), and you can play ball, but it’s a pleasure for children to swim here.
Now about the island itself. We rented a car for 3 days (40 euros per day with insurance), traveled almost the entire island. On the first day we went to the north. . . and did not find anything particularly interesting there. Our ultimate goal was Sidari, the channel of love. I will say this - in the photographs this place looks gorgeous, in real life - a dirty puddle, with the means of "love" floating in it, and the road to this "love" place is buried in garbage and human waste. The sea here is also very dirty. We had a desire to jump into this channel of love (as the advertisement says, whoever jumps will be with his beloved forever), but on the spot we didn’t want to jump into this channel of love... Conclusion - traveling by car to the north did not justify itself. From the beach of the hotel every day a pleasure yacht departs to the north, entering the bays and relaxing on the water. We paid attention to it already "after", I think, on it the journey to those places was much more interesting for us. Day two - Kerkyra. Definitely a must see city. But again, renting a car for the sake of it is absolutely not worth it. A bus stops in front of the Corfu hotel - a 1.5 euro ticket, and the hotel itself, it seems, offers a generally free bus to Corfu. In addition, it is not easy to park there... We were in the city several times, both in the morning and in the evening, it is interesting that at different times of the day the city shows itself from different sides. What was visible during the day is hidden in the evening, and what was visible in the evening cannot be seen in the morning. In general, describing Kerkyra is a waste of time, you just need to see it. Necessarily. Day Three - West Coast. For this trip you need a car. Although we were guided by the excursion route, we often turned off it and found things that would simply be left out during excursions. There are very nice villages with narrow cobbled streets and squares, colorful ones, but they are located far from the tourist routes (which is good, by the way), and you can only drive through those streets in a very small car (we had a Panda - we barely squeezed in). And it is better, of course, to take a walk there, especially in the evening. A few words about such a advertised place - the village of Makrades. The tourist guide assures us that souvenirs and homemade olive oil can be bought at this place, as well as wine. Now the truth is that souvenirs are everywhere and at the same prices. The oil is very tasty indeed. But the wine....I tried, of course, this drink before buying it. Well, a young wine that tastes good. However, they gave me another bottle, they say, closed with a cork and full... We opened this bottle already in Kyiv, and found there a cloudy liquid in the fermentation stage. In this connection, I recommend to refrain from such dumb purchases, especially since the Greek wine that we regularly took for tasting in the store was very good (we tried a lot). But they decided to bring home home))) The places on the west coast are beautiful, however, the roads are very steep, by lunchtime the brakes were already squeaking at the car. A few words about the advertised Glyfada beach. Yes, big, yes sandy, but there are a lot of people on it. No pleasure. Although, for vacationers in hotels on this coast, this is perhaps the only place where you can normally swim. All the hotels that we have seen here have very small rocky beaches.
Yes, you can refuel very modestly - there are very short distances. We refueled for 50 euros (25 liters) - we did not leave for three days, no matter how hard we tried.
Have a good trip!

The hotel corresponds to its 4 stars. A large common area with the Corfu-Chandris hotel. An excellent small-pebble beach, a great opportunity to relax on sun loungers under the trees on the lawn. No frills food, but plenty of variety. We rented a car for 5 days (30 euros per day). We traveled all over the island! Amazing Pleokastritsa, the mysterious northern coast with sand dunes, the incendiary South Key, the "celestial" Panteocrator and, of course, the capital of Corfu! There is something to see and where to walk during the day, and in the evening it's just a fairy tale! Having a car allowed us to visit the capital almost every evening - it's a 15-minute drive.

We are "age" tourists (from 60 to 70) and have not used expensive excursions for a long time, but rest on our wheels and at our own discretion, which is what we wish everyone.

For the first time in Greece, Corfu was chosen for the opportunity to get away from the rest in the environment of Eastern European habitat.
Accommodation almost corresponds to 4 *, the problem was insufficient ventilation in the room, when the air conditioner was turned off, there was a smell of dampness. Air conditioning with poor temperature control (gradation of the scale 5 degrees). Or froze at +20 or suffocated at +25.
We slept with the windows open, slightly mosquitoes got out...
The beach is just awesome! The coastal strip of 7-10 meters is small pebbles, then a grassy lawn, from which it was cool during the day, as it was regularly watered at night. A lot of 600-700 year old olive trees grow along the beach, an extraordinary microclimate in the shade! Sunbeds are paid 3 euros pcs.
Meals - 2 times buffet. Greek cuisine is amazing, nothing got tired in eleven days. Great selection and always in stock. Large selection of fruits and vegetables!
The Ionian Sea is slightly muddy when a small amount of algae appears near the coast when the wind from the sea near the coast.
Car rental is very cheap 35-40 euros / day, if for three days, then a third of the day is free! Be careful when concluding a contract, some rentals limit the daily mileage. . .
A special place is the capital city of Corfu! The old city is simply charming, architecture, color, friendly attitude towards tourists - beyond praise!
Adriatic Sea! You can't help but love him! The western part of the island is a gem! The purity and coolness of the water, combined with the rocky shores forming bays and grottoes, you need to see once to fall in love forever!! !
