Yesterday we returned from the island of Corfu, rested at the Alonakia hotel. I didn’t find any reviews about the hotel, except for the previous one, I believed the review..... I don’t know in which Alanakia the previous tourists rested, then where we arrived, the review didn’t correspond at all !! ! The island of Corfu itself made an impression - a beautiful island immersed in greenery! I can say about the hotel that it is a solid 2 stars, and not some 3+, as they sell it.

Yesterday we returned from the island of Corfu, rested at the Alonakia hotel.
I didn’t find any reviews about the hotel, except for the previous one, I believed the review..... I don’t know in which Alanakia the previous tourists rested, then where we arrived, the review didn’t correspond at all !! ! The island of Corfu itself made an impression - a beautiful island immersed in greenery! I can say about the hotel that it is a solid 2 stars, and not some 3+, as they sell it....More than modest rooms. . more than modest…
For a week of our stay at the hotel, we never changed towels and bedding. Breakfasts are continental, by the end of the week it is impossible to look at them...
Dinner is generally a separate issue, what was given for dinner is not possible!
The place where the hotel is located is very picturesque and the views are really beautiful! The beach is municipal, so it is very dirty, although they charge 8 euros for sun loungers and umbrellas... The sea is beautiful and very clean, but cold!
And yet, if you are suddenly going to this hotel, take mosquito repellent with you, there are just a terrible lot of them... If you are ready for such a vacation, then I wish you good luck !! !

Hotel. General description:
Geographically located in the wonderful resort village of Agios Gordis, which is located on the western side of the island, a 10-minute walk from the sea. The hotel has up to 30 rooms, all rooms are in good condition. The hotel has 3 floors, swimming pool, summer terrace (overlooking the sea and mountains).
Number.
All rooms overlooking the pool, mountains, sea. The view is just magical. The room has a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV (1 Russian channel) (you can watch TV at home : -). Air conditioning is paid - 5 euros per day, you can rent a fan. There is a balcony with a table.
Room cleaning every day, linen change 1 in 2 days.
Territory.
The territory of the hotel is not big, very well-groomed. Lots of flowers and national symbols.
Nutrition. H. B.
Continental breakfast (tea, coffee, juice, sandwiches, cereals, cookies). But dinners for all 10 points. for 10 days of rest, not a single dish was repeated. Everything was very very tasty and the cooking was in the national style! Many thanks to the cook!! ! He is YOUNG!!!
Travel agency. We went from Mibs (thank you guys for organizing). I met the transfer at the airport. Our guide Anna also provided information about all kinds of pastimes (excursions around the island, trips to the mainland, car rental and a trip to the water park (2nd largest in Europe).
The road to the sea passes through the main street of the village, where there are a lot of shops and the same small hotels and restaurants. Restaurants and cafes are a very important part of the trip... We got to the most delicious : -) worry, in order to try all the goodies of national cuisine, you will have somewhere to roam))) All dishes are so tasty and varied, you just lick your fingers) you need to try everything !!! ! If you eat together, order a good lunch as for one. Very large portions (in the beginning, out of ignorance, we ate out of the table). On average, lunch for 2 is 20-30 euros.
Walking along this street and along the beach is a great pleasure. On the beach there are sun loungers and umbrellas (rent 8 euros per day), as well as a lot of space for vacationers on towels : -). The beach is sandy with clear water. And what can we say about sunsets...... Having visited Corfu for the first time, I can talk about it for a very long time, because I fell head over heels in love with this island.
