All rooms with sea view, which is at arm's length. The rooms have everything you need and are of good quality. The view from the windows is the best you can think of on the sea. We drove around the entire island. I liked everything very much. But if you asked where we want to stay next time, I can’t think of a better place than Pontikonissi Hotel.

You can find fault with breakfasts or the noise of landing planes (which you get used to on the second day), but if you compare all the parameters of the hotel, then all the same Pontikonissi The hotel will win when choosing a vacation spot.

We rested with my son this year on the island of Corfu and were extremely pleased! You will not see such a green island anywhere else! Nature is amazing: bamboo is adjacent to pine trees, and cacti grow next to lemons - you will find all this in Corfu! We stayed at the Pontikonissi hotel for a gorgeous view of mainland Greece, the islet of Pontikonissi and the peninsula of Kanoni, immersed in fluffy greenery.

We stayed at the Pontikonissi hotel for a gorgeous view of mainland Greece, the islet of Pontikonissi and the peninsula of Kanoni, immersed in fluffy greenery. My son most of all liked the planes that took off and landed right next to us (the hotel is close to the airport, also a big plus). The hotel corresponds to two stars - the rooms are always clean, the territory is well-groomed and beautiful. True, the breakfasts are rather poor, every day the same thing: cereal, pastries, cheese and ham, juice and coffee... We went to taverns for lunch and dinner, since they are all within walking distance. I advise everyone to look into the ? ura tavern - here you can enjoy delicious seafood, the grilled octopus impressed us the most : ) On the east coast, the sea is very warm and swimming there is a pleasure - it was simply impossible to pull my son away from the beach.
We recommend visiting the Barbecue Cruise, an ideal option to explore the island's other beaches. Right from the ship, on both sides of the sea, sailing along the east of the island, we were able to capture Mount Pantokrator, the highest point on the island, we had plenty of swimming, and then ate chicken, Greek salad and barbecue meat on the wild beach. All this was prepared by the captain of the ship Teliz himself! We also had a stop at the grottoes and swam in the emerald waters of the Ionian Sea! My son liked most of all the opportunity to jump from the deck of the ship. I also have picturesque views of the village of Kassiopi. On the way back, we enjoyed the famous hits of the Soviet era with the whole friendly company. Impressions from this cruise, as well as from the island as a whole, are crazy. We will definitely visit this beautiful corner of Greece again, but we will already walk more than lazily lie on the beach under the sun : )

Acquaintance with the hotel took place in an advertising and information tour of Greece. Pontikonissi Hotel 2 * is a small city hotel located in the village. Perama, 5 km from Corfu (15 minutes by bus). The infrastructure of the village (shops, taverns, pharmacies) is 500 m from the hotel. Six-storey building with an elevator, 50 rooms (all with sea view): single and double rooms.

Beach: 10 m, pebbly. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with fresh water (umbrellas and sun loungers by the pool are free of charge).
Unfortunately, there are no activities for children and conditions for the reception of guests with limited mobility.
Personal impression: very good small hotel. For just one view from the balcony, you can assign 1 additional "star" : )
Summary: very good 2 *.
Rather, for those who like to combine a rich excursion program and a beach holiday.

My husband and I went on vacation, this is not the first time we are flying to Greece, but we have never been to the island of Corfu, so this time we chose it as a place to stay, we stayed at the Pontikonissi hotel. The hotel is a six-story building with a small area and a beach. We were at the reception at 11 o'clock, check-in began at 12. We were given a room on the 5th floor, a double room, there were 2 beds, a wardrobe, a refrigerator, a spacious safe. The windows of the room were overlooking the sea, a beautiful view of the sea opened from the balcony, there was also a wicker table and 2 chairs on the balcony. The beach at the hotel is pebbly and is divided into two parts, one with sunbeds and the other without. The beach is pebbly, the entrance to the sea is the same, but we bought ourselves special shoes and did not feel any discomfort. There is a shower at the exit from the beach, which in our opinion was very convenient. We took breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Breakfasts were monotonous, but fresh and tasty: sliced ham and cheese, scrambled eggs, various cereals, milk, tea, coffee and desserts for them. For dinner, there was already a small variety: several types of meat (veal, pork, duck), a couple of times during the entire holiday there were seafood and fish, several types of side dishes, baked potatoes they just lick your fingers, there were also salads and fresh vegetables. Near the hotel on both sides there are taverns, lunches there are inexpensive, portions are large, everything is tasty and fresh. On the right hand, a 5-minute walk is the Nisos tavern, and on the left, it seems that Olympia is called. We went a couple of times to the beach in Benitses, the beach is paid, 2.5 euros for a sunbed, but it’s convenient that a man comes up to you and takes money, so you don’t have to run and look for someone to give it to. Our vacation was a success, next year we will return here to Corfu, because we haven’t seen everything yet!

In August 2013, I decided to spend my vacation in Greece in the quiet resort town of Perama, which is located on the island of Corfu. I stayed at the Pontikonissi Hotel. The hotel is located almost on the seashore, in itself it is small, simple in style, but inside it is cozy, the hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. The entire staff works to create comfortable conditions for your stay at the hotel and an atmosphere of home comfort. The hotel consists of one six-storey building surrounded by beautiful gardens. The hotel area is small, it houses a large swimming pool, bar and restaurant. I arrived at the hotel at 12 noon. I was placed in a single room. The room is small, equipped with all necessary equipment, the only hair dryer was not. It is available in the rooms only upon request. In the room I had a spacious bed, a soft pillow, a balcony overlooking the sea. There were wicker chairs and a table on the balcony. Everything is nice and tidy. The room was cleaned every day, linen and towels changed every three days. I only took breakfast. Breakfasts are plentiful, the choice was always and for every taste. On the tables there were always several types of cereals, cereals, muesli, toasts with jam or marmalade, chopped fruit. I have never seen anyone leave unsatisfied or hungry. I went to the city for lunch and dinner, visited local supermarkets a couple of times, bought food. Sometimes I dined in the room, sitting on the balcony. Enjoyed the food and great view from the balcony. There are many taverns in Perama where fish and meat are perfectly prepared. I especially liked the stuffed squid and lamb ribs. The portions are large, everything is cooked with soul and at home. The beach near the hotel is good, I would even say that it is divided into two parts. One part is where there are sun loungers and umbrellas, and the second is without them, just bare sand. The sea is clean, warm, the entrance is sandy and gentle. Pontikonissi Hotel is a good place for a relaxing beach holiday! I am well rested and relaxed here.
