When we had air conditioning and a refrigerator - for the money, not particularly expensive, but still consider it. Star Beach - admission is free, but sunbeds for money (2 euros was - now I don't know). Entertainment - depending on what you expect - there are a lot of discos nearby along the entire promenade, you can go to Malia - it's not far there - there are also a lot of discos and they are much better!

We have been in this hotel 2 times. There were no problems with the hostess - we also read reviews about the opposite, but did not understand what they were. Well, only if it's because she doesn't let guests in at night (girls bring boys, etc.) - we didn't need it. The hotel is run by a family. A very nice grandfather is a night porter, though he does not speak English, he knows French.
For dinner - the city is full of taverns, a meal costs about 30 euros for two, with wine in a decent place. At the hotel, if they took only breakfast, then there is no point in having dinner. Entrance to the disco - most of the bars themselves become discos by night - so it's free, just discos from 2 to 5 euros. Really good disco only in Malia (about 7 euros). Fur coats were not bought. Excursions - we took the car and watched everything ourselves. The only thing we took from the agency - Santorini (another island) I highly recommend!
